I was a little nervous at first because it was a spa, and not specifically a massage therapy. My body is a mess and I require a therapist that actually knows what they are doing. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer.

I was 17 in the 1st, 36 the last one; I have seen countless massage therapists, all over the country. I have had only 2 massages @ the Temple location that were worth their salt in the 10 years I've lived here. Not therapeutic, no knots worked out, no ACTUAL hot stones, no deep tissue- it's extremely disappointing that the knowledge level of these "therapists" appears to be very basic at best. Your options are for a massage that's so basic asking my child to rub my neck/shoulders & saving my $$ would have been more beneficial, or you get someone who thinks deep pressure means they apply pressure as hard as they can all without regard to which muscle/tendon/ligament they are working on & how it relates to all the layers of surrounding soft tissue. IN OTHER WORDS, they don't employ MASSGE THERAPISTS with knowledge and experience providing therapeutic care, they employ masseuse's with a piece of paper that will oil you up & pretend. I have had ONLY 1 Massage Therapist in the years that I've tried Massage Envy that was actually knowledgeable and beneficial ~ she's not there anymore. i hope they can get it together, maybe get some real experience in the building.
