I thought it was weird that they didn't call or text to confirm the new time works for me, but it did work yesterday so I didn't worry too much about it. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer.

On this day the stars were aligned - - I had some time to spare at lunch, the store wasn't too busy and distracting, Heather didn't have anyone waiting in line, and most importantly my back was aching and in desperate need of attention. I signed in, she showed me how to properly get onto the massage chair. It's a quality and sturdy piece of equipment - which was nice. Doesn't rock too much and I felt very secure. After she made sure I was ergonomically correct and comfortable she started the massage. She also asked if there were any areas I would like her to focus on, I pointed out specific parts of my back that were in pain. She made sure to hit them all up and incorporated them into her overall standard regiment. It was a relaxing and pleasant experience to say the least. Heather was very friendly, professional, and personable. She's easy to talk to, competent, and also very sharp and intelligent. She massaged up and down the spine, over the shoulders, the neck, the arms, and finished off with the hands and fingers. Even though we got caught up in good conversation she kept a consistent pace and remained focused to ensure it was a quality massage. Next thing I knew we were finished and she was about ready to close shop - that was the only downer - all good things must come to an end. I think next time I'll definitely add in an extra session because 15 minutes of Heather's therapy just wasn't enough. It was a potent experience that got me re-energized and it definitely helped make this a relaxing lunch, I felt much better.
