I mean, I couldn't even drive there because I couldn't do "mirror, signal, head check (mostly the head check part). I called in and spoke with Adura one of the massage therapists. We made an appointment for 12:30. I arrived at 12:15 for paperwork. Audra explained that she is mostly a "treatment" therapist meaning she does more of the healing instead of the foofy foof. For this particular visit, treatment for my messed up neck was exactly what I needed. I had no time for tom foolery. The room was warm and dark. I loved the music playing; not your typical classical crap. I think this was a greatest hits CD of love songs and it was louder than music at prior massages. Audra was PHENOMENAL. She did rarely talked and worked out so many kinks from my neck and did a lot of different stretching. Very knowledgeable about massage therapy. AND... she rarely spoke. Even though this was a therapeutic massage, it was also relaxing not to hear someone gabbing. Afterwards, I felt great! I was very happy with my massage. I have a few other LMPs I recommend but for anyone with an injury or a sore spot, I recommend Audra M. Stott at Massage on the Ritz. The price is right (regular price is $55 and if you come every 30 days it's $45) so it's worth at least checking out.

When I first started with them, the massages were responsibly priced but now, they are very pricey…read more I guess that's inflation and the cost of the products they sell which I don't buy because of skin sensitivity passed on to the customers. Anyway, they have a couple of really good masseuses that I would wait to get because they applied the right amount of pressure and they would remember what areas of my body needed the most work. The owners wife works there and I'm sorry, but she's not that great. If you want a super soft rub down, she's your girl, but if you want or need pressure, don't let him stick you with her because he does some of the scheduling too when they are busy. As far as the place, it's tranquil and very nice. The masseuses wait for you in the hallway and greet you with a cup of cold water and ask you how are you feeling which is nice because I've been to places where they have a water machine and you're on your own. If I had anything thing bad to say, it would be that you don't get your full hour of massage time. The start from the time you walk in the room and they are asking you questions about what areas would you like them to concentrate on and then you change clothes but your hour has already start so that's about 15 minutes gone. I always wear clothes that I can get off quickly and the masseuses I try to get already know what's going on with me so our conversation is very brief. An hour should be an hour from the time they touch your body not from when you walk in the room.

Nope They were fully booked when I arrived at 3 PM and asked me to come back at 5 PM. That's obviously great for them -- but learn from me and call ahead to make an appointment! I ended up doing a 30-minute table massage and a 30-minute foot massage, and my husband did a 60-minute table massage (he does not like his feet touched, so foot massages are absolutly not his jam). My massage was wonderful. Honestly, the table portion felt longer than 30 minutes -- whether it was or not, they made it feel full and thorough. They worked on my back, arms, legs, shoulders, upper chest, and even included a facial massage, which I wasn't expecting but absolutely loved. The gentleman who worked on me checked in consistently to make sure the pressure was comfortable but still deep enough to work out the knots in my back. It was the perfect balance of relaxing and therapeutic. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of massage you receive. And it's super close to my house, which makes it even better. Next time I go, I want to try their foot reflexology because I've never done it before and now I'm curious. But I will absolutely be back. This place is a little hidden gem and I wish I had tried it sooner.
