The food was very good and with all the takeout Chinese restaurants in the area, I'd say this place was a little better than average. They also serve Thai food but I didn't order any on this visit. Service was fast and courteous. Ambiance was that of ant typical Chinese takeout spot. A few seats to sit and eat but 99% of their business is take away. After checking through the menu both my roommate and I decided to get the Spicy Coconut Noodles. The restaurant owner was very pleasant and helpful in picking out the dish. After a short wait we got our food. The food was flavorful and with a good amount of shrimp and chicken. The noodles were tasty and with a perfect amount of coconuty basil flavor that youd want from a thai dish. Would definitely want to try some more of the other thai dishes here. read more

Ordered lunch special on a saturday. Picked up order and brought it home. Started off eating the egg roll which was fine. Tasted right and no issues. Opened the hot and sour soup first and started having it when i realized there was a dead FLY in it! Very upset i took the order back to the store. They told me they can give me another order of the soup. But it was from the same pot originally ordered from. I asked for my momey back. The lady called the boss from the back as she opened my main order to see if i had ate any of it and spoke to him about my issue in her language. They decided to give me my money back- minus the eggs rolls because they said i already ate it. I will not be ordering from here again. If i were them i would ve given the whole amount back- not deduct the eggs rolls because "i ate them" . of i had seen the fly then i wouldnt eat the rolls either! I used to work less than a mile from Asian Pot and always loved their chicken pad thai lunch special (ordered extra spicy). It was always fresh, flavorful, and with a great kick of spice! I visited tonight with my husband and got the pad thai and an order of beef lo mein, extra spicy. The pad thai wasn't as good as I remember (no real kick, and very soupy), but I'm guessing they may have a different chef on the weekends, but the lo mein was outstanding! My husband says it's arguably the best he's ever had. Even though the pad thai wasn't as amazing (I honestly think it was just an off day), the many fantastic meals I've had and the awesome lo mein lands them a solid four stars! read more

My coworkers and I eat from here sometimes once a week. We love it, including myself. However, I haven't been able to move all weekend due to food poisoning from there. We got a menu in at work and today was the day I decided to go. I am very particular with my Chinese food. Too many local places use chicken that is like near chicken. I was satisfied with the chicken (chicken and broccoli) it was tasty. I say 4 stars for two reasons, first off I asked for extra spicy and I could have given it to My toddler and they wouldn't have detected the spicy ness. We got a new menu the other day for "Asian Pot" , which is Chinese and Thai takeout cuisine. For lunchtime today, we decided to give it a try and I'm delighted we did! We had a few lunch specials and appetizers delivered ($10 minimum for delivery). They were priced right and quick with the delivery. I had Drunken Noodles with Chicken, which are stir-fried broad rice noodles with basil, scallions, and long hot peppers. Delicious and spicy as it should be. Thai style Peanut chicken was also on point, yummy with whole peanuts instead of just crumbled peanuts like some places. Mini spring rolls (6 pcs to an order) were crispy and tasty with a zippy sweet and sour sauce. My only disappointment was the wanton soup, which for me had noodles that were too thick and heavy. Mediocre Thai food, haven't tried their Chinese food. The pad Thai is just ok- I think I was spoiled living in the city for so many years near amazing Thai places. Didn't like the chicken basil fried rice. Tom yum soup is good but the shrimp is always a little mushy and weird seeming. I didn't even eat it this time. Thai ice tea is ok but nothing to write home about.
