Went here for a girls day out, we did the head to toe renewal treatment. The massage was great and relaxing, and the hair wash/scalp massage was wonderful and extremely relaxing. The only thing that I personally wasn't a huge fan of was once done with the scalp massage they took all the hair brushes and everything away and pointed to a hairdryer in the corner and said to have a great day, we tried our best to dry our wet tangled hair but it was just easier to throw our hair up wet and got straight home. I have been here twice now for a foot massage in Wilmington. It's a nice spot. When you arrive - you check in with your reservation name and you wait until they are ready for you. You then get taken back to the room where you will receive your massage. This is a room that is shared with many other people, but this is kind of the norm for places like this where foot massages take priority. You are seated in a comfortable big soft chair where you will then place your feet for a warm soak. They will put a towel or washcloth over your eyes so that you are not peeing out at everybody else and not having anybody else look at you. This also definitely facilitates the relaxation piece. While your feet are soaking, you will receive a hand and arm massage which is a nice surprise. Then after Ward, you will have your foot and leg massage for however long you paid for. I believe you can pay in increments of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. It is reasonably priced and certainly well worth it. Make sure you call ahead or fill out online to get a reservation. I've been going to this family owned and operated business for years. I've only had one bad massage there and that was because their regular therapist was out sick and they did their best to accommodate. It's quiet in there from the time you enter through your massage and when you leave. Get 12 massages and the13th is free. They provide you with bottled water when the massage is complete. After the massage, when the front desk staff inquired about my experience, I felt uneasy. Set appointment online and received confirmation. Went for 90 minute combo, 1 hr swedish with 30 minute foot massage. Swedish massage was so-so, okay. The foot massage on the other hand was phenomenal! I would go back here for the foot massage anytime. Comfortable recliner. They cover you with a blanket and eye cover. Where do I begin. Paid for a couples massage and they put us in separate rooms. My wife got what I don't even think can be labeled a message and it was supposed to be full body, he literally rubbed her back for 55 minutes. She had to ask him to do lighter pressure 3 times and it still was too much. Also he had no idea what he was doing. The table was cold, the room was cold, and they kept whipping the sheets off. Hands down the worst message we have both ever experienced. Also, each of our massage "therapist" left the room a total of 8 times. We paid for an hour and they spent most of it running around outside the room. There are no doors on the rooms by the way. I quite literally have no clue how this place has such a high rating. I haven't felt like I've been ripped off like that in a while. Literally pick anywhere else. Please. Just don't do it. Working on a refund for colossal waste of time and money, to be continued. Update: increased to two stars because they understood my frustration and refunded my money, decreased back to one because that's just how bad it was. I am so happy I found this little walk-in massage spot! The staff are so kind and accommodating, the environment is cool and relaxing, and you'll leave with a fixed back/neck without breaking the bank. I have some pretty serious neck issues that I often see a chiropractor for and sloppy massages can actually make things a lot worse, which causes me to be very hesitant in selecting who/what/were I get my massages. I heard great things about this place from locals and was a little iffy to come in because I've been to inexpensive relaxation places before that had no idea what they were doing and made things a lot worse at the end of the day.. this place is not like that! I called 30 minutes before and they said come in anytime. I was the only one there and walked right on back. The guy was patient and listened to where my pain was, what level of pressure would work. He massaged the perfect areas in my neck and shoulders and basically had me melted into the chair, drooling half way through. My pain was gone as I left, they gave me a water to hydrate me, asked me about my week, and were very sweet and caring. The worst part about short, inexpensive chair massages, for me, is usually a couple days after when I'm sore in a different place because the massage therapist didn't do it right. The days following this massage were great - no pain and less tension. I will definitely be back when stress gets my neck going again and would highly suggest you do as well! read more

The lady in the front desk had an attitude, when the man was done with my massage he usually gives water but when I was coming out she was telling him to put the water down. The lady FORCED me to give a 15 dollar tip when she saw the tip I gave him (10 dollar tip) I came here last time and she didnt see that I gave him a 10 dollar tip. I used to love this place but was highly disappointed with my last experience. I was given a gift card which they said had expired. I never saw an expiration date on the card so she let me pay half (even though they were paid the full amount). The masseuse would leave the room to take care of customers who walked in. I even had to ask her to close the door when she returned as I'm laying naked on the table. Someone came into the room and I heard papers rustling. I have no idea who it was or what they were doing but it was very unsettling since I was undressed and face down. I really wanted to love this place so I went a second time but it's missing the mark. I got the dual chair massage and foot reflexology both times. I can recommend the chair massage portion for what it is, but the foot massage has not been good at all both times. There was barely any pressure used and my feet were legit still aching when I left. For $70 it is super disappointing. Additionally the place is really loud they don't even attempt to whisper. Other similar spots I've been to always try to create as quiet and relaxing of an atmosphere as possible, but not here. All of the employees talk loudly and what's more, when another employee had finished her massage and checked out her customer, she literally came up to my guy interrupting my massage and talking loudly to tell him something. Wow! This place is amazing! I recently (31 Jan 2024) underwent successful major lower back surgery where they performed spinal fusion of a couple vertebrae with a bunch of permanent titanium hardware (screws, wedges & mesh w/bone graft) installed in me to correct this issue. The only real complaint was that my left hamstring was incredibly tight. I tried everything from heating pad, Lidocaine patches and a rolling pin to try & loosen it up. After several days of this I decided to seek out the Asian Relaxation Center on 16 Febwhere I met Sophie who I told her of my dilemma. Sophie concentrated on the area from the buttock down both legs and finished up with neck & shoulder massage. Sophie employed oil & hot stones to relieve the muscle tightness which felt fantastic!!I began increasing the daily distances that I was doing on the treadmill, recumbent bicycle and outside walking. One of the recent evenings the weather turned a little chilly and my hamstring began tightening up. I decided to return on 20 Feb for another session with Sophie and couldn't believe how wonderful it felt. I highly recommend this place and especially Sophie for getting back on track! read more

Deep pressure and worked out all the knots. i've had massages my whole life, and this guy just really knew how to work it out. Honestly, this was not my best experience of a foot massage and I have been getting foot massages for a long time. We had a party of 4 so to make sure that we don't cancel at the last mom, they charged usn50% up front which I can understand. While the 4 of us were sitting un the chair, at least two of us got only 50 min of massage while soaking our foot in the tub. This is the ONLY place that don't massage your shoulders or your lower back in addition to your foot which is unheard of. But, the foot massage was decent. I would not be coming back. read more

WOW! This place is a must if you need a serious massage! I'm from D.C. and just moved to the area. I used to work construction, and have a back injury that needs tough love. I find it hard to get a good, deep massage at American places as they don't view massages the same, and are skidish about body contact/getting on the table to get leverage. It needs to get through my scar tissue and muscle tightness. And Sophie was AMAZING! I did an hour and a half for $105, an incredible deal considering she included hot stones and seriously deep massage of my whole body. I just can't say enough about this place. Had a great 90 min Deep Tissue Massage here. I came in 10 minutes early and was taken to my room immediately to start my massage. My massage therapist also incorporated some hot stones on my back and hot towels which was a nice touch. Never felt rushed and could tell she put in 110% into the energy she was giving me. read more
