Honestly. I'm not one to write a bad review but I really had to. I've been there 2 times. The first time was good but the last time, which was yesterday was terrible. I went with my sister and we wanted to get a massage. The ladies we wanted weren't in so we decided to try the other people. I'm not ganna say names because it's messed up, but me and my sister left feeling sick, violated, and nauseous. They kept patting majority of the time and barely massaging. They kept using their finger tips and left us feeling bruised rather than using the palms of their hands. One of them even farted during the massage !!!!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed and I've been getting massages for years and have never experienced this. She lowered the blanket very low to my legs and I was exposed and she kept massaging me and moving me and I was just so uncomfortable. Usually I fall asleep during massages because they are so relaxing, but all I kept thinking was when will this be over. It was a complete waste of money I can't believe I even left paying !!! This is such a crap place. Save your time and your money and your back and never go here. If you chose to go, I do hope you enjoy but I know I certainly didn't and my sister didn't as well. Well I was excited to get a massage at this place for my birthday and I ended up leaving sore and stressed and feeling extremely violated.... I came in and someone directed me to a room and told me to undress and than a male came in to massage me which was okay at first but I didn't think he was going to be a creep and I didn't think he was going to be that aggressive either!!! It felt horrible and the only good part about this massage was that my back cracked. ( which I don't think they should be doing that since they aren't trained chiropractors) I felt violated.. the hot rocks were cool but he didn't even ask if it was okay and I felt his privates on my head and he was rubbing a bit to close to my private areas and I HAVE gotten massages before and it was never as bad as this one and I never felt as violated in my life. Plus let's not forget that you gotta tip them 10$ and up for a 45-50$ massage which is insane because I was very unhappy. read more

Great price! Great massage! I speak from the 'not paying too much' for a massage mostly spectrum. I've gone to enough $40-45 1 hour massage spots to write a review here. 9 out of 10 (if you got lucky once in a while) left me saying, "Well, you get what you pay for". You know, the just touching you (no place for my superior muscle spasms) because you just want to be rubbed, YET "keep the panties" can't naturally feel the tight muscles, places. This is NOT Forest Hills' Asian Spa. While I can't complain about most others there (they're all primarily good), Nancy is my favorite. She's petite, yet strong. I'm about 140lbs and a -bony in my back -woman but my spasms are serious! Tough! Resistant!! Nancy is 100lbs and uses everything in her arsenal to dig into my super-tight muscles. She walks and rocks in full, strategic stance to put the most force into my stubborn muscles. She has walked on her knees, elbowed and honestly, just used her little hands to tug on scapula- pulling from muscle or listening as I (only advice I have to offer her) point to trigger points which she would then apply unrelenting pressure to. She's good. In addition, based on her skills in recognizing spasms and being creative in finding ways to relax them; I trust her with cupping. She is again, attentive and strategic in her application of the cups. As I head back to the suburbs of Baltimore, where incidentally Michael Phelps is from, and where I first learned of cupping, I wanted to shout Nancy out. She deserves it, as does the entire staff of Asian Spa. They standout among their Forest Hills' competitors and outside of one other masseur (whom I quickly lost to appointments only), Nancy is .... actually tied at #1 with her. Lol. Nancy can crawl on your back and cup to perfection. Vivian would shamelessly push your pressure points even if in your arm pits. Nancy will now quickly study this and use it. Trust me! read more

The massages are not good. They don't speak any English and they talk and laugh to each other while they massage you so can't relax.

I'm from CA, and this is my first time here. I just needed a foot massage and wasn't expecting much but I was blown away with the service. Nice ladies took care of me and my sister. Omg I am not paid to say this or to exaggerate about this review when I say.... THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. My masseuse Nancy , she was so sweet, polite and accomodating to make sure that I was comfortable with every body part. Her hands were so gentle and soft without putting creme on, let alone when she applied it to my entire body. I had done the Combo F: 1 hour body work 1/2 hr facial and cupping for $88, was such a reasonable price to be paid. She definitley deserves the tip. Her techniques were insane that I heard my back and arms crack so many times with relief. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO ASK FOR HER. I came out of my room glowing but my back had so much pain from the cupping. Two minutes in my body on its own became numb when she put each cup in. When you finally come out to get a massage and hoping for a great experience.....not in this case. This place has no privacy whatsoever. The lights are on in your face. The "massage therapists" are on their phones, talking non stop and one is teaching the other how to do a massage and he's just dozing off. Unprofessional is an understatement. They didn't even do a one hour massage, I asked 3 times to be gentle, and he gave it his all that I had to pull my feet away multiple times. They didn't even offer a cup of water after the massage. I desperately needed a foot massage and wanted some relaxation. I was really glad to see that this place was super clean. I went around 10:45 pm and got seated right next to the reception desk. My masseuse was excellent. I loved the massage and I really wish I knew that sitting in the front of the store was a terrible idea. People kept coming in and out and it was NOT relaxing. It defeats the entire purpose of a massage. The workers are really nice and I heard them say shh a few times to the other customers who were being noisy. I wanted to really just take a nap but the noise was really bad which ruined the entire experience for me. If I had known before, I would ask them to seat me in the back and if it was quiet I would've gave them 5 stars. It's unfortunate but I think they need to come up with a better idea when it comes to the reception area. read more

I've been there a couple of times. First one for a full hour massage, the second time for 30 mn (just asked for head/neck/shoulders). Super friendly staff, great hours. Great massage. Would have given them five stars if their English was a little better. It doesn't really matter in most situations, but it would be nice in certain cases if you could explain a certain physical ailment in more detail so they can customize the massage. read more

I appreciate the other reviewers mentioning the noise level. I figured I'd give up a hour of Red Zone and try this place on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy. The masseuse did a fine job and actually paid attention to the areas I pointed out. They even honored a coupon I received in the mail from whenthey opened back in the Spring. The price is very reasonable. I'd give it another star except that a few times during my massage the place got unnecessarily loud. I asked the masseuse if the building was on fire cos that would be the only reason for these people to be as loud as they were. read more

The worst spa I have ever been to around forest hills area. The whole One hr session I felt like I was just getting a back rub. I did tell her to put more pressure in and she said because I am too skinny she is afraid that I'll get hurt. She kept saying I am very skinny 10 times, she even said I am skinner than her daughter! To judge your customers body shape is very rude and unprofessional, even though I do speak Chinese! Those women were very unprofessional masseuse, don't even know if they did get their certificate! This is really a 4 star place, but I gave it 5 stars to weigh out all the bad reviews here. Priced well. Clean place. Doesnt smell like other similar places. Friendly. They don't speak English, but we get around that. I come here with friends all the time, they love it. Prime location in the heart of Forest Hills. Each room has doors as opposed to a curtain. I stopped in here for a full body massage and was pleasantly surprised by the staff, the massage and the prices! I had Nancy and she focused on the areas I needed and I left feeling great. She is very strong and I had to tell her to lighten up a few times, but I'd rather that then not strong enough! This is really a no frills place. She started with a dry massage, then she used oil and at the end she used hot stones. I also love that the bed you lay on is heated. I went during the week so it was relatively empty and noise wasn't an issue. I'll definitely be going back! Where else can you get $38/HR decent massages? read more
