I've already reviewed this place but I had to update it because I had such a great experience tonight with Lisa. I was feeling completely worn out from this month (barely sleeping because I was working so much) and I impulsively called at 7:35 to ask if they did scrubs. They had immediate availability for a full body scrub ($80 for an hour) and a full body massage ($50). I asked Lisa if she needed a break between my scrub and massage but she pressed on and really impressed me with how thorough and strong she was. I'm very weak and generally can't handle Thai massages, but what Lisa did was perfect - it wasn't quite a Thai massage, but it had elements of it. By the time she finished, I felt like a new person. The scrub was also very thorough and incorporated a lot of massaging as well (with a very nice face/neck massage at the end). I've never gotten a scrub before so I was not expecting for her to also exfoliate my chest area, but she did so very professionally. Got a stiff neck after leaving here because the massage was so uncomfortable. I asked for 30 minutes full body and 30 mins foot massage. The masseuse climbed on me and massaged me with her legs and knee caps which was uneven and painful and then proceeded to give me a decent leg massage and foot massage for the remaining 45 minutes. After the massage, she walked out and 30 seconds later, she walked back in and started tidying up the area while I was still getting dressed. How rude and disrespectful... Also I had to get my own water afterwards (usually they serve you warm water after a massage). I asked them in Chinese how much is the total since I am paying with a credit card and she seemed like she didn't understand me and later said $45 in English, then I saw a credit card receipt on the counter that said $43.50 and she nods. Her colleague spoke to her in Chinese and she understood. So I'm not sure if they were trying to pretend to not understand and trying to fool us to pay more? Walked in on a rainy afternoon when I decided to go for a massage on a whim after a mani pedi, and the ladies here advised for me to make an appointment next time, but still accommodated me with my 1 hr full body after just a 10 min wait time. I won't reveal who my masseuse was because I want her all to myself lol but if all the masseuse here are like mine, then they really know what they are doing, and can find all the knots and knead them out to make you leave there feeling like a brand new person. Where do I begin first and foremost? Do not patronize this Spa this woman is a monster. I went there as I was in the area to get a massage. I was kept waiting but noticed the men that came after me were being serviced. I was annoyed but waited, you can see some of the men were regulars and even one man made a sexual gesture at one of the ladies. I was appalled. You can hear moaning from back room. I told her I wanted to leave not a professional establishment she falls into stereotype of spas. She told me I shouldn't leave someone will be right with me. I told her no and she starting ranting and said something racist to me. (I'm not Asian). I told her I would never come to a establishment like this again. Her boyfriend heard the conversation apologized to me and she went mad. This woman literally got up and starting attacking him for siding with me. I was shocked watching this tiny lady jump and hit this man on his back, for siding with me. Thank God he didn't hit her back. The other women came out and acted like this was normal behavior. I nearly called the cops. I quickly grabbed my bag and ran out of there. I think this is the same spa years ago that had a run-in with the police were they were being shut down for doing low-key prostitution via Spa. But it was hard to tell because so many of these spots change their names. Either way I suggest do not go it's not a safe and good environment. It's basically a way for them to do prostitution with guise of a spa. The woman is a racist as well as clearly having a anger management problem. The staff looked over worked too. I went for the first time on a Friday at 6pm after calling to make the appointment the day before. The salon is so quiet considering the location and it is clean. The rooms are separated which is nice, and the seating in the waiting room is super comfortable. I had to wait 25 minutes after 6pm when my appointment was scheduled but I am still giving 5 stars because of Ana. The way she massaged didn't feel like she had a set routine she does for just everybody. It felt so customized because she was so focused on getting every knot out and used every second of the full hour. I haven't felt this good in ages. And for $50! Amazing service !! Came late 9pm and asked if a 1 hour (2 people) massage was too much of a bother since they close at 11, they said it was okay. My massager Nina was absolutely amazing, literally the best massage I've ever gotten. We ended up staying 10 mins after closing but they were still very nice and gave quality service throughout the time. Highly recommend will definitely be coming back ! But I got a 30 minute full body massage and a 30 minute foot reflexology and the whole time during my full body massage the masseuse was having a conversation and giggling with the other masseuse in a completely different room. They were talking quite loud. I could not relax at all with someone talking the whole time and laughing. When I went to pay the lady that did my massage told me what she wanted for her tip and I was completely in shock. I was going to do 20% as my tip but she said she wanted $10 or $15 tip. But, she complained my tip is not enough. She told me mandatory tip is $10/hr. So I had to give her $20 tip. I've been many massage places but I was never asked my tip is not enough because I always give more than 20%. I was never asked before like this. Massage was good, but you may wanna know you have to pay $10 tip for $28 foot massag The owner tried to contact me. I didn't reply her offer. But, the manager/owner was nice person on the day, place was clean, quality of massage was good. I was just pissed off because the massager complained my tips even I gave her more than 25%. We reserved for 1:30pm for two people, and took a 30 minute subway ride to get to the appointment on time. They called back at 1:20pm saying they forgot they had an appointment and to come at 2:00pm. (We had made an appointment for a one hour massage in time for a 3pm schedule nearby.)
