Had a great shopping experience at Columbia Factory Store at the Barstow Outlets! I came in on a…read moremission looking for hiking sandals, and the sales rep was so attentive and helpful from the moment I walked in. I saw her right away and said, "Honey, point me to the hiking sandals!" and she knew exactly where to send me. I was in and out in about 20 minutes with exactly what I needed--and even ended up grabbing a pair of shorts for hiking around Lake Powell while carrying my kayak. She made the whole experience quick, easy, and stress-free. I even made sure to thank her on my way out! Great customer service and super helpful staff.

We were driving by on our way to Death Valley for camping and stopped in to get headlamps. I seldom visit the Outlets at Barstow, but since they have a NB outlet store, I was on my way here. It's not a very big store, but not small either. I normally don't have a specific model of shoes that I buy. As long as it's NB and it's comfortable, I'm good. I love NB! Before trying on any shoes, I asked one of the staff members if I can return my purchase from here at any NB stores just in case I do. The lady said returns can be made at any NB outlet stores, but it must be an outlet store. Thank you Miss! The lady ended up helping me with my shoe selection. She was very knowledgeable and informative about the shoe I was wearing and what would be a good comparable and/or similar pair for me. I learned that I was wearing the 860 model in men's wide size. I did not know this until now LOL. After a few tries of different styles of shoes, I ended up with a soon to be discontinued 880 model in women's wide size. They had 2 specials at the time... buy one pair of shoes at regular price and get another pair of shoes for 50% off or 30% off shoes that had a yellow sticker. I ended up putting a few things back as I just didn't feel like dealing. The dressing rooms had a bunch of stuff left by customers so that didn't seem to be a priority either.
