Now, I am going to have to pay another landscape company nearly $3,000 to correct the problem caused by Watwood. I've contacted Watwood multiple times, and each time he would tell me he is coming out in the next few days, but he never shows. The owner and his staff were quietly personable, and I'm so disappointed at how they left me hanging, having to go to another company and pay for the work again. Mr. Perez and his team are top-notch and professional, and I couldn't be happier with them. After the hurricanes hit last fall, all I heard were complaints from my neighbors about different companies NOT SHOWING UP as promised, and exorbitant fees rendered if they did. I contacted this gentleman in early February, not expecting him to be able to give me an exact starting date for the two locations I needed work done, only to be pleasantly surprised that he was willing to start the very next day. They took out two HUGE oaks at my residence and trimmed the other 8 (!), all of which were in dire need of attention and way too big for me to deal with, of course. The second location's work included an ancient, 50' tall slash pine which was very close to the structure and has been worrying me ever since Hurricane Charlie was supposed to come right up the coast in 2004. With Hurricanes Helene and Milton I was worried that it would fall on my roof or the neighbor's house next door. ALL OF THE TREES HE TRIMMED are looking really good by now. I love the shade provided by the oaks and don't expect they'll ever need attention again during my lifetime. Mrs. Perez even brought me lunch a few times along with the same for her crew, what a treat! Trust me, I wouldn't take the time to lavish praise on a business unless they truly deserve it, and Perez-Vasquez Tree Service is one such entity. You'll not be disappointed! This tree service is highly recommended. We had them cut down and haul away an 80 ft high tree in…read moreour backyard. They do not run heavy equipment containing a telescoping ladder across the lawn, so we did not have to worry about parts of the irrigation system being broken. Instead, Perez himself climbed up the tree and tied ropes to each section being cut off. That meant that no heavy limbs crashed down as they were cut. The clean-up they did was so thorough that we had people comment that you could not even tell that they had been there. We will not hesitate to use them in the future.

This company was wonderful when Isaac was in charge. Then, they switched management. I am 81 years…read moreold and they took advantage of me. I paid October's $80 for the month of bi-weekly service. (mowing and edging) They never showed up. Called the office. Apologies and lies from Jess the secretary. "I will have them come right away". NOT. Called again 5 days later....."I show on our GPS tracker that they arrived at your house the other day." Liar. Called again the next week. "I am elevating this to priority status and we will take care of this for you." Nothing. Grass got so tall there were snakes roaming through the lawn. I then called and asked for a refund. "Of course, I'll put you down for a refund." That's all. No retention attempt, she just hung up. 3 weeks later we still didn't receive the $80 back. I contacted my lawyer, Ted Starr and he sent a letter demanding a refund. No response. This is fraud. Elderly abuse, or whatever you want to call it. They are DBA now as Royal Palms Lawn Care. I have photos and proof of my payment. This company is the worst.
