Let's start with positives- nice building, exposed brick, updated equipment…read more Negatives- expensive for what they offer - $89/mo, tried to charge more as supposed to through my credit card, had to block. Advertise month-to-month membership but charge extra month. I tried to renew membership temporary for a summer (moving to Illinois) but they tried to charge all the extra months between now and time I canceled membership. Unbelievable. One of the worst experiences in the gym world. The best idea? To buy a treadmill at home and attend Pilates or Yoga elsewhere.

That said, the problem with working out here is largely the clientele. Every gym has the imbecilic guys in the weight room who think that grunting and dropping heavy weights onto the floor somehow improves muscle tone--but Be also has a large contingent of local high school kids whose presence crowds the very small weight area to the point of making it unusable for long periods of time. Pros: -Be is always clean -The equipment is generally in good working order -The staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable -The basic membership is under $50/month Cons: -The lower rates have attracted "less than desirable" clientele -Large portions of the upstairs are underutilized, while the small weight room is jam-packed -The locker room is tiny -The parking lot is shared with the Delafield Hotel, Andrew's Restaurant, and a dance school--the soccer moms who pick up their daughters from dance class park willy-nilly, many of them are rude, obnoxious, and impervious when it comes to parking etiquette

We have sent our kids here 3 years in a row for their summer ninja camps. While my kids enjoy the…read moreobstacles, we have not been impressed with the staff. There is a great deal of lack in communication and friendliness. We had to express concern over one of the instructors who told 5-6 y/olds that they are "annoying" and called them by 'potty words' and was rude. (Also on her phone) Many other mothers expressed their concerns to me as well as many of their kids left feeling upset by the experience. Most other instructors are nice but average. It would be a good idea to greet the groups of kids and parents in the beginning of the camp... but it's basically a free for all leaving many confused (as was I on our first year) There is no check in or email prior to camp starting to allow families and parents to know what to expect. It's quite odd. I think this will be our last year as this camp is too expensive for an average experience and especially after what happened with their first instructor.

I brought it to the attention of the coach and he said, "I know know what to do the kid won't listen I think he's autistic." My reply was that doesn't make it okay to push my son repeatedly. I then brought it to the attention of the receptionist. She said the father would be on the floor watching over his son. My son is now very very afraid of this child as he has now been pushing and bullying him for weeks. This child is much larger than my child also. My son was pushed again the night the father was on the floor. Apparently the owner saw this happen while coaching and said he jumped but I saw to hands on my child's back. No video footage was given to me as proof either way. Regardless my child is still terrified of this kid. The father of this child came up to me after class and threated me in front of my 2 children and many other parents. He got in my face and used the F word multiple times. I brought this to the attention of the Muskego gym as the Hartland one never answers there phone and the mailbox is full. She very nice woman said this man and his kid would most likely be kicked out as they don't deal with bully's. She also said her husband was a police officer and would have him at the gym if I would like. I was not sure what this very heated father was capable of but I can tell you I was very scared entering the parking lot alone with my kids. There was no one at the front desk to tell of the incident. I finally got a call after multiple emails and calls from the owner. The wife was BEYOND rude. I actually have our conversation recorded and my husband listened as she yelled at me that none of this happened and my child was not being bullied and neither was I. She also told me her voicemail was not full but I guess I was correct there when she literally called her voicemail and heard it was full WHILE on the phone with me. I have never spoke to someone so rude. Her husband then called me next. Again recoded the convo for later and my husband was listening. Apparently this child has a disability are therefore it is perfectly okay for him to bully my child and his hot headed father can bully me. We have taken both of our children out of this place. I can not imagine how RUDE and AWFUL the owners are here. I should not have to be afraid for my safety and wellbeing alone with my children's.

The country club as a whole is actually pretty small, which surprised me. It definitely gives off quaint and exclusive vibes. Being on Beaver Lake, I'm assuming it costs a pretty penny to be a member, but we were glad to just be guests for the day! This wedding reception was held primarily both on the sprawling outdoor patio and in the 'Beaver Lake Room' of the club. The patio is triple-tiered overlooks the entire lake. A gorgeous setting. I thought the service for the evening was great! All of the staff seemed to work seamlessly to keep up with the 150+ guests. The multi-course dinner came out quickly and near the same time for almost everyone, plates and cutlery were removed so timely, and wine/water glasses were continuously refilled. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. It sounds like they host lots of events, from fundraisers to golf outings and banquet, and beyond. So maybe we'll one day return!

The view over Beaver Lake is beautiful, and the multi level outside are with a fire pit is wonderful. The food was cooked perfectly. The serving staff and bartenders were all wonderful and polite. It was a comfortable space for a small to medium sized reception or event.
