Our first impression was showing up and having Greg and Karleen start to argue, giving dirty looks with each other and talking bad about each other in front of us. It was very unprofessional, awkward, and uncomfortable. I also would say Karleen , who I dealt with did not one time tell me that she was sorry for my loss or honestly any condolences. I got a beautiful condolence message sent to me by my mother's life insurance policy and yet from the people who were taking care of her remains didn't even say it to me once. I had to have my mother's ashes shipped to me since I live out of state when I was there in person sitting at the table I was promised multiple times that if the ashes came back on a Friday, I would have them Saturday. If they got there on Wednesday, I'd have them Thursday absolutely! Well that was not true with my case and I did not even get an apology or anything. My mother's ashes came back on a Thursday. I was told that the post office closed early due to a county fair so she would get them out the next day. OK fine. I figured this would be top priority and we go out first thing in the morning. After waiting all morning, I sent her an email and a text with zero reply to either at around 2 o'clock Nebraska time to see if my mother's ashes had been sent. Finally, around the end of the day around 4 pm I get a text with nothing but the tracking number from the USPS. Nothing in the text at all like thank you for your patience. I'm sorry this took a while. Here's your tracking number nothing! I sent a text back asking if the tracking number was all in the picture because it looked cut off and that I was very disappointed that I wasn't getting the remains the next day as promised they weren't coming until Monday. Which she didn't even have the courtesy to tell me I just had to see that on the receipt. She then sends me a text back very quickly, defending herself saying that there's only her and Greg that work there, she can't control the post office and she had other obligations throughout the day. Using!!! the whole entire text to me it was cold. It was nasty and it isn't something that someone working with grieving family should ever be in charge of doing. Couldn't even take responsibility that I was getting the ashes on a Monday because she couldn't get to the post office in time for the cutoff date of the next day. Once I get my mom's remains, I open the box to find that they've been wrapped in bubble wrap and put inside a plastic sack. The plastic sack literally had my mother's ashes in it. This is outside the sealed container that's supposed to be coming to me. When I open the container. It's a black shipping container. My mother's ashes was all over in the rim of the latch of the container. Her ashes were all over inside the container the bag that she was in was not sealed properly had leaked. Plus the bag had a hole in the bottom of the plastic leaking out all over inside. It also had an unused zip tie just thrown in the bottom under her bag of ashes. I have received my pets ashes back, packaged with more care and love than my mother was! I am absolutely horrified with what I was delivered disgusted by how I was treated and for my personal experience would never recommend them to anybody!! I'm only leaving this review which is not easy to do at this time because I don't want another family to have to go through this. Karleen definitely could text me back when it was to tell me how wrong I was and how I should just be grateful for what she did and it's only her and Greg that work there. But again never once could say sorry for your loss. Honestly disgust me.

When there was a big loss in my family this fall, my sisters and I worked with Bill Cutler, Sr. to make the needed arrangements. He was patient, kind, sympathetic, and explained all of our options. The family chooses the details but they make sure it happens from prayer cards, to the program, catering, etc. We had our luncheon following the service there on the property so no one had to leave to drive somewhere else. A nice feature is that memorial services are broadcast livestream so family overseas were able to witness the service in real time. The link is live for 30 days. What I didn't know beforehand is that they offer grief support groups regularly with licensed professionals. It's a safe place to talk about your loved one and grief in an accepted place where other people get it.

When my mom passed last year, I was obviously a wreck emotionally. Thanks to Braman (in addition to my parents doing their own end-of-life plans in advance), the whole process was seamless and very easy for me to understand and make any remaining decisions. We worked with Leslie, and she laid out anything remaining that was needed from us - a burial outfit, pictures and songs for the memorial/tribute video, and a few other things. But most everything else was handled by Braman, which was so appreciated in that hard, emotional time. Braman even found a priest to be the service officiant, when all the clergy at my mom's church were sadly all on a retreat out of town. The officiant that Braman found was from a sister church (Fr. Swanton) and he was very warm and gave a great service for my Mom. If you are making your own end-of-life plans or are looking for a mortuary to help you through everything, I highly recommend Braman Mortuary. Everything went off amazingly and it was a fantastic send off for my Mom, thanks to Braman.

Dan was easy to work with and patient as my mom and I considered the different options he presented. The paperwork was all handled at the mortuary. They were really thorough and worked with us to make sure the details we wanted were respected. Their prices are very reasonable compared to what others charge, so we feel like we got a high-value service. It was a great relief to the family.

If I could give zero stars I would. These guys are crooks. I agreed to pay $7,753 for a funeral on…read morepayments. What they don't tell you is that most of your monthly payment goes to "insurance" and that after paying $180 a month for 18 months only paid down the balance $600. The rest went to insurance supposedly. They never told me that by the time I was done making payments the final amount paid would be double of what I was told I would be paying!
