The staff was attentive when I first went in and did not have to wait long to be seen by the Dentist (Dr Vilensky). The Dr could not find anything wrong and suggested I see another specialist(endodontist) for a root canal. I was skeptical since the Dentist has not been in practice long and did not consult anyone else in the office. However, I was willing to give it a try due to the pain. Then, they quoted my insurance for $8,000 with over $2,500 as out of pocket payment (what I had to pay). I spoke to the front desk lady several times about ways to lower that amount (like paying with cash, or monthly payments ), but she seemed very uncaring, bothered even, and did not want to do anything extra. She said it's all about my insurance and directed me to a loan page. After talking to my insurance, they said I was being overcharged based on their contracts and should not have to pay until after treatment and when they have the final amount. Also the endodontist from their office was not contracted with my insurance. When confronted with the information, the front desk lady admitted she knew my insurance did not work with their specialist (which she did not tell me) and that I could find my own specialist if I wished. She also explained that paying upfront is how they conduct business and if there is an overcharge they will eventually return it. I ended up going for a second opinion to another office who quoted me for an out of pocket of $1200 for changing the crown and no root canal was needed. All that to say they lack experience to diagnose and treat. They are money oriented and overpriced. And the staff is uncaring and will not look after the patient's best interest

Dr. Steven J Lo Cascio In very literal terms " was a life saver"…read more When came to Dr. Lo Cascio I was interested in a simple crown replacement. I was examined and some x-rays were taken. Little did I know unannounced by two previous dentist, I had a serious infection, that left untreated could and would cause serious damage and possibly even death. Dr. Lo Cascio shook his head and told me I need 4 root canals and 4 new crown to get me healthy again. This Infection had been in my mouth for over a year and the damage would only get worse. I proceeded with what would end up taking three month to fix. Once Dr. LO Cascio and I agreed and started the long process I never felt uncertain or intimidated like I had been with the previous other two dentist, that By-the-way never mentioned I had an infection. Dr Lo Cascsio and his staff created an environment that put me at ease throughout the entire three month process. The entire office has an uncanny calm, I never dreaded having to go to my appointments. Dr. Lo Cascio and his staff shared a friendly banter. They always seemed happy to be there and were in great spirits, which was not the case at the other dentist offices. I really hope I have expressed my respect and gratitude sufficiently for this great establishment sufficiently. If I could give Dr. Lo Cascio and his staff 10 stars I would.
