I debated about writing about this place.. but after talking to other people in the medical field…read morethey said yeah people need to know what they did. So here it is. The pros of this place is it is clean and the staff are friendly. The dental work is very good. The cons is make sure you get your information on what your insurance covers up front. I was quoted a portion paid by my insurance and another portion I owed. I paid in full. The staff had called to see what insurance covered before I let them touch my teeth. I had to come back for my final dental work of permanent crown placement and was told I was all set. Two months later the bill was run thru my insurance and it was off by 200 of what they thought my insurance would pay. But this bill said I owed an additional 1200. I called and they indicated to me the bill was quoted both for insurance portion and the amount I would owe the dentist portion. The document they had me sign first appointment was false. Thank goodness I saved it: At no point would I have signed off on having all the work done at once because i did not financially had it. If I knew I owed 1900 on top of the 2000 my insurance paid Finally got everything straightened out with the office to get a letter in the mail with the bill saying paid in full with quite the note from office staff that I should call insurance to see what it covers before dental work, etc needless to say I will never feel comfortable stepping foot in their office again. The dentist and her immediate staff are amazing but the way I was spoken to and treated by office staff was not appropriate.

The front desk was helpful and quick with check-in, and I didn't have to wait long at all before being called back. The dentist and assistants did a great job explaining everything they were doing and made sure I wasn't in any discomfort during the appointment. They were very patient, answered all of my questions, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The office was clean, organized, and very well run. My dental hygienist Chloe was very patience with me not holding still for multiple x-rays, and was gentle and professional during my cleaning. I also struggle with keeping my jaw open for extended periods of time, and she was one of the sweetest dental hygienist thats ever worked on me. Allowing me time to rest my jaw and swallow. Fine, I say let's keep the appointment and see how he feels later. They say "nope, sorry he cannot come in and he is banned for a year". Foster children have very challenging and ever changing lives that require flexibility for all parties. All Smiles Family Dental treated my son like a 2nd class citizen like so many others have. If it's ever a wonder why inner city children have some of the worst dental hygiene issues of any demographic, it probably starts with places like Family Dental that show a lack of grace and flexibility to the least of these. Truly disheartening how this place treats the most broken of children.

My family and I waited so long for our appointments with Downtown Dental that it was an enormous relief that we were happy with every aspect after our first visit. The office staff was friendly and informative, and I so appreciated Patsy's patience and kindness when it was difficult getting a prescription for the pre-meds my teenager requires before dental procedures. The three of us each saw a different hygienist, and they were all excellent and made me quickly realize that Downtown Dental was going to be our new home. We loved Dr. Odum, who looks about 20 but was so warm, approachable, and knowledgeable. A doctor who is able to immediately connect with parents but also draw out a shy teenager is a rare find. Many doctors twice his age haven't mastered that balance of professionalism and personality. The office is easy to find with plenty of parking, and the facility is new and clean and inviting. So glad we found Downtown Dental!

Dr. Klein and the staff go out of your way to make you feel comfortable. They are so detailed in the manner in which they interact with you and in the manner in which they care for your teeth.
