The staff is amazing and sociable. I also really like the hours offered for appointments.

They go attempt to force you into periodontal care claiming you need thousands of $$ of gum care in order to fix a cracked tooth. this was the second office to do such a thing. It is a scam in disguised as dental care. read more

Dr Baker in Athens has a great bedside manner. I have TMJ and can't hold my mouth open for very long and he was patient and allowed me rest even when using a bite block. Violet was very good about explaining the financial side of things. read more

The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I have waited in the lobby twice now for 2 hours. They let over 7 people go before me multiple times. I will give props to the insurance lady, Caitlyn. She is great, and very helpful and friendly. She is the reason I come back. The dentist himself is also good. They really need to work on the wait time though, especially with people who have an appointment time and dont get seen for 2 hours after. Letting 7 people in front of you just seems a bit ridiculous. read more

Both mine and my husband experience were great at first. Good service and great environment. The insurance went through both of our services. Mine was a cleaning which was covered. He had some cavities that needed to be filled. It was $2000 and something. Insurance went through and we had to pay 700. Okay no problem. We got 2 bills and we call the office. The lady said it was just one and not to worry about it. After paying 2 payment I realized that the interest was 29 percent so I decided to pay it in full. We receive another bill of $800 A month later when I call they said some excuses that don't make any sense what so ever. Why do we have a bill from aspen and another one from dental first? I saw allot of bad reviews after we went to the office. And we are now experiencing what all of those people were talking about. It wouldn't had been a problem if they told us what they were doing to begin with but instead are just taking money from a family who doesn't have it. Completely unprofessional. Called to s chedule an emergency appointment but they wouldn't schedule me to be seen until almost a week later, even though this abscess ed too th has been waking me up in sweats all night every night since it first started over a week ago...I came in according to my appointment reminder today only to be turned away at the front office by this girl whom refused to consider my situation being as it is because she said i was supposed to come in a half hour before the appointment to do paperwork... On the door it states walk ins welcome, friendly and courteous people I've heard from others-apparently not at all as these aren't a fact nor a factor in the office girl reschedul ing new for this emergency situation mind you, at their next a vailable which is another week off... This is for a fact one of the worst experiences I've ever had work a so called medical professional office and i m very very laid back in judgement and also consider everything quite rationally-This place is absolutely the worst... Be smarter and avoid this place if you ever have any type of emergency... and their walk in policies are complete false advertisement.... You've been warned. read more

What a waste of my time made appointment to have a tooth removed let them know Multiple times when making the appointment that my tooth need to be remove got there did 20 minutes of X-ray to be told that they can't pull the tooth today but they can clean my teeth. Didn't need my teeth clean today needed the tooth removed. If you go in for tooth removal it's not cleaning you want it's the pain in the mouth gone read more

I was basically tortured today by the Dentist. She got behind the chair and held my head tightly against the back of the chair by holding my jaw. (almost a strangle hold) dug into my mouth, poked the skin under my tongue, cracked the tooth next to the one she was removing at the gum line and cut that skin under that tooth, put rubbing alcohol on some tissue and put it on my nose several times then with the same tissue was dabbing all of my forehead then tells the nurse that "I didn't like the noise so do this another way" NO I didn't like how she was pulling and busting the tooth (along with the next tooth) THAT WAS THE PROBLEM at that moment. THEN refused to give me antibiotics and someth9ing for the pain. Did not put any stitches in the gapping hole so if I get a dry socket that is on this company not me. She proceeded to complain about the drug problem in the country. Not my problem! OH and let's not forget while the dentist is digging in my mouth and I'm telling her it hurt I can feel it she says "OH MY GOD" i SAID WAIT STOP (which should have been a clear indicator my mouth was not numb enough if I could speak clearly) and told her that's not good for a DR to say while working on a patient. That scares the patient.!! I've made several calls to the office and the office manager said she would have the regional manager call me (which they still haven't) and I spoke to someone at the front desk who said she called in antibiotics and I asked which store and location so while still in pain SIX hours after the torture I'm told they called in antibiotics I get up STILL IN PAIN go get my antibiotics and guess what. I'm told no one called in anything. HMM. I make another call to this office about nothing being called in and they swear they did but nothing at the pharmacy. BUT got a call AFTER I got back home and made something soft to eat from the pharmacy and said they called my antibiotics in. Well I'm in pain and that doesn't seem to matter to this company and now with a possible infection in a gapping hole that was not stitched I should not have to be running back and forth and not have any pain meds or antibiotics . I told the office manager that I have an attorney over this AND I will be contacting whatever board gave this loon a license to practice. She tortured, belittled and allowed me to leave in pain with no relief. Don't go here. Was a horrible experience that I hope no one else goes through. Went to get 2 implants. One is doing ok the other is still loose (after ordering 2 teeth caps) and the center was drilled back out so I will have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. The dentist doing the implants moved to an office in south Alabama and no one in the Athens office wants to fix it. When I last saw the dentist that did the job he said I was paid up and if there were any problems to tell the office to contact him. Well that was 4 months ago, last month got a bill for $500 told them to contact the dentist and wrote it on the bill and sent it back. This month got a bill for $1100 even though I haven't seen them in 4 months. There work was unsatisfactory and their billing is poor and their followup to correct mistakes they made is non existant. They always made me pay for the work before it was performed, now they want more money for a job that is unsatisfactory. Would warn everyone to stay away unless you want overbilled and poor workmanship. read more
