I'm unhappy with the dental work I received and had to make multiple visits for adjustments that didn't fully resolve the issues. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that nothing was wrong and that further changes couldn't be made. I also had difficulty getting in touch with the office, particularly when I requested to speak with a manager and wasn't contacted in response. Given the cost and my expectations, I was disappointed with the overall experience. I can't use it as I have a speech impediment due to improper dental work. Avoid Aspen Dental - Horrible Service and Unprofessional Staff NOTE: Good Grief - SOOO wish I had read all of the reviews before ever stepping foot in this hack of a dental office.) Absolutely terrible experience with Aspen Dental and I WOULD NEVER recommend them to anyone. From the moment I walked in, the service was subpar, but the worst part was the complete lack of professionalism and the refusal to provide basic services that I paid for. Had x-rays taken during my visit, and when I requested them, I was told I could not receive a copy, nor could they send them directly to the surgeon I needed to see. Instead, they claimed that the "best" they could do was to rush the request (which, by the way, meant it would take over two days instead of 10). I was assured that the corporate office was the only one that could send the x-rays, but when I called corporate, I was told that the individual office is the one responsible for sending them. Corporate only "approves" it. After two weeks of waiting and multiple follow-ups, I called the office again, only to be told that no x-rays had been sent. The staff then suggested I should just go to a new office and have the x-rays redone, even though I had already paid Aspen for the original service. Absolutely outrageous. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and unhelpful staff (some of which were just plane rude) made this a truly frustrating and infuriating experience. If you're looking for competent, reliable dental care, do yourself a favor and avoid Aspen Dental. This place is a complete disaster when it comes to customer service. We subsequently went to Premier Dentistry in Gresham and received EXCELLENT service at a far less cost. I suggest if you need a dentist to use PREMIER DENTISTRY and NEVER USE ASPEN DENTAL. read more

I read other reviews and I don't know who or where they are referring to because the staff at Aspen Dental in Beaverton on Scholls Ferry Rd are PHENOMENAL. From the lovely person at the front desk to the Dental Assistant they are all top notch. And Dr. Omar is personable, friendly and accommodating. I like his approach to speaking his mind, giving advice and offering his knowledge yet able to actively listen and connect. He's a great guy. The best part of my experience came from Courtney, the Office Manager who didn't attempt to push me into a dental plan requiring a lien on my house. She worked effortlessly to get me a good deal, a great plan and into dentures I'll be happy to wear. It's not always about what we, the customers demand, it's more about working WITH your dentist and their resources to say "Yes, that's what I need" to be a satisfied customer. This place was AWFUL from the start!!! After my X-rays and initial checkup, they immediately started trying to make money on me. They take you into a room and show you how much everything will be. When I'm like "oh hell no", they said "I guess we can take off the $150.00 toothbrush". I never talked to anyone about wanting one!! Then I go to get fillings done. I told the doctor that it takes a lot to numb me. He kept trying and then adding more Novocain. In between berating the assistant, he finally says " well I don't know what to do, if you won't numb I can't do anymore ". I guess it was my fault ‍. The final blow was when they called to make another appointment with them and I said no, I don't think it's the right fit for me, and asked for a final statement (I'd been paying, but still had a balance). 2 weeks after that I got a collection agency notification!! Aspen Dental - This is 9 months after getting a crown from you ppl - Oral Surgeons Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

After a few years of putting off dental care because my prior experience was so painful and left scars in my mouth, I took a chance on Aspen Dental. FRIENDS, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. PROS: It's clean, has easy parking, and they can usually get you in right away. Your first visit is NOT a cleaning, it's an evaluation and a sales pitch. It's like a timeshare or car dealership where after moving you through several exam stations, you go into a financing office to get pricing for what they think you'll need. In my case, they estimated two separate cleaning appointments because they claimed my insurance only covered half the mouth at a time. They told my husband the same thing. They said we needed extra special extra deep cleanings for some reason (can't remember now). The pricing was just shy of $200 for each of the two appointments, so the total should have been just shy of $400. When I went for the first cleaning, they asked me to pay about $400, so I asked if it was for both appointments. NO, it was just for the single appointment, and when I looked at the itemized bill, they had added a $150 robot toothbrush. I hate those toothbrushes and they definitely did not discuss that with me because I would have told them I would not be buying one. WATCH OUT FOR THIS SUPER SHADY BILLING. Then, my cleaning (half cleaning) was about as standard a cleaning as any other cleaning I've ever had, except it was only half my mouth. And they left my teeth coated with some crusty stuff instead of doing the nice polish that sends you out looking fresh. And having only half done means half your teeth are nicer and then you can wait X weeks for your next appointment. It's a stupid system. My husband, quoted the same extra super major double cleaning, had an entirely different experience that was much more intense and invasive. So he either got extras that they didn't bill him for, or I paid extra for a basic cleaning. Then after much waiting, I got to be seen by the Doctor to address tooth pain. He couldn't understand why I had tooth pain, but I'm guessing there's a problem with one or more of my 30+ year old fillings. I'm not a doctor, but ... So they scheduled me for an extra special specialist appointment who ALSO said there's nothing wrong with my mouth, but here's another bill. Meanwhile, my mouth was in so much pain that BREATHING hurt my teeth, room temperature water hurt my teeth, and their sensitive toothpaste was just extra chemicals that did nothing to manage my pain. The dentist told me it was neurological. I guess he's also a neurologist, so that's neat. And then, guess what? I had surgery a few month later (not related to my mouth) and had a minor infection that was treated with antibiotics. MY TOOTH PAIN WAS SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED, thanks to my OB-GYN. Unfortunately the pain relief didn't last. Anyway, I eat soft foods almost exclusively now, I can't eat cold things like ice cream, I consume a lot of painkillers, but at least I have the assurance from Aspen Dental that there's nothing wrong with my mouth and I just have a neurological condition. read more

Inquiring about denture alignment I was told that yes they offer this service and I would get a free exam. Not really needing a exam I agreed to one two weeks out. 30 minutes of my complete medical history, another 10 minutes pass, I was call back and asked to remove my dentures which I did. 10 more minutes pass and a man ( assuming he has the dentist, there was no introduction) asks me where did I get my dentures which I disclosed then he said well we can help you.... what? He said if he touched my dentures he would own them, not making real clear sense. Basically they strung me along for a sales pick on their products! I would not use the products period... I asked why his staff had not explained that to me two weeks ago when making my appointment. A complete scam! I will never be back or recommend this facility. Work on etiquette. Truly shameful. I had my initial appt which included a cleaning. I was left in the chair for 40 min twiddling my thumbs waiting for the dental hygienist to come back. Then I was told that she had to leave for the day to go pick up her son and we would have to reschedule. I finally got a call 2 weeks later. I asked them if they found a new dental hygienist that wants to work. Friends had complained to me about the same hygienist before my appt but I tried to give them a shot anyways. I was told that when she fell off the back of her chair and hit her head before my friends appt (where he spent 2 hours sitting in the chair waiting for the hygienist) that she went to the hospital and they found a brain tumor and she just had surgery yesterday and that she will be out of the office for 6 weeks and that her health and her schedule are more important than my appt. I let her know I will be receiving my dental services elsewhere and she hung up the phone. The hygienist needs to go on a medical leave and they need to hire a temp until she is well enough to return. They also should not be giving out their employees private health information. From my experience and the experience I've heard from others, this place is a waste of your time. read more

I would avoid going here. I ended up being dismissed with some of my teeth that were hurting which ended up being repaired via root canal elsewhere. I was also referred to a specialist to talk about getting a root canal because a crown I had was hurting. Turns out after going to emergency tooth doctor the crown was seated incorrectly. Show up for my appointment and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed. Didn't get a call, text or email that my appointment was cancelled. The woman next to me drove all the way from Tualatin in traffic at 3:00 just to have her appointment cancelled and she didn't get a call either. How unprofessional! I get things can go wrong and closing early is needed but if you have my number AND my email you would think a message saying "hey we can't fit you in today sorry" would be waiting for me in my inbox. Nope just let me stress about my appointment and then have me show up to only have it cancelled. Stay far away from this dental office! My fiancé went in for terrible pain about a year ago. He needed a crown; we got the crown along with $2000 worth of nothing. You have to call 55 times to get somebody to just answer the phone and when they do they don't honor their verbal commitments. I called to schedule a cleaning and a whitening, I was assured by the person on the phone that that's what I was coming in for. When I got there, they told me that I needed to get an exam because I hadn't been in in awhile, which was fine but they couldn't schedule my cleaning or whitening that I thought I was there for that day for more than two months out. of course they told me this after the exam so now my free exam that my dental insurance offers was used up and I couldn't use it anywhere else so I'm likely to have to pay out-of-pocket now for an exam prior to getting a whitening elsewhere. read more

Going to a dental appointment is never something that is looked forward to. Someone poking around your mouth with sharp tools isn't anyones idea of a good time. The staff at this Aspen Dental location made my first appointment painless. Erica did my Xrays, which is no easy feat, and not only was she patient and kind, she was compassionate. Leslie was the hygienist and she explained my upcoming procedures and my x ray results simply and matter of fact without inciting panic. Ana, the office manager helped me get financing to achieve my future dental work and was warm and welcoming. Very sleezy dental office. Can they get you in fast? Yes. Will it be a bad experience? Probably. My dental assistant was amazing, really nice and made me feel comfortable. The dentist did not make me feel comfortable and he made me feel bad about asking for more localized anesthesia when having a tooth pulled and even accused me of not actually needing it. Are you paying for it dude? Is it your mouth? He did give me more and yanked my tooth out but it was not a good experience aside from the dental assistant. When I left they told me I owed them X amount so I paid that. I got a bill a month later for an extra $70 they never mentioned. Shady but my tooth needed to come out. Then, I saw Nerma the Dental Assistant who made me feel so calm and relaxed. She explained everything about the procedure I was about to have. Now, let me tell you about the Dentist, Dr. Garcia. He is the most amazing dentist I have ever been to. I had to have an extraction and I did not feel any pain at all. He was friendly and answered all my questions. i would not recommend this place to anyone! aspen dental is the mcdonald's of dentistry i started in april of 2021 we're just a week short of one year and i have not received a finished product. the whole office is incompetent, the regional manager matt is very incompetent and childish and josh tracy the sales director has not returned my call. at this point i'm talking with attorneys, oregon board of dentistry and i've contacted and filed a complaint with the attorney general of oregon. you cannot negotiate with aspen they will screw you any way they can! they have since terminated me as a patient because they cannot create a product that fits my mouth. this is where they're incompetence lies i've never seen the same doctor twice because they're flying in doctors from all over the country to fill temporary positions. they are trying to stay afloat. i pray and hope and can't wait until the aspen dental office doors are closed permanently in roseburg oregon. my best advice to anyone is don't go, don't waste your time, don't waste your energy because you will be 100% disappointed. you've been warned. read more

I was very leary of Aspen dental after looking at all the reviews, but I had a bad toothache and decided to give them a try anyway. I'm glad I did. After looking at the mess in my mouth, they told me what my options were. After my exam I sat down with a very friendly staff member and we discussed me getting dentures.Three days later I went back and after pulling 7 upper teeth that I had remaining I walk out with new upper dentures. And I might add that I had no pain from the extractions even after the Novocain wore off. I feel I was dealt with honestly and fairly.I really appreciate the caring feeling I get from all the staff members. I am especially pleased with Lisann and Amanda. If someone gives you good service, they will tell 1 person they know. If they get bad service, they will tell everyone they know. read more

I would not send my worse enemy to this clinic. My experience was bad from beginning to end, including a LOT of pain that wasn't necessary. And this is the most unprofessional office of any type that I've ever done business with. --on my first visit, the samples I was shown were yellow, except for the most expensive one. That was notably whiter. I wish I had seen that as a warning and not returned. --After confirming the appointment for my extraction numerous times, they changed it and didn't even call me. They did send me an email that looked just like all the others. Their excuse was that the dentist had had her baby. They had, of course, several months to plan for this, but I didn't find out until I got a call *that morning* saying I'd missed the new appointment. --My extractions were horribly painful. I had infections, which showed up on my x-rays, but they didn't tell me and didn't prescribe antibiotics. I have diabetes, so this is really common (to have infections). --my post-surgical follow-up appointment was schedules for New Years day. I asked the scheduler at the time if she was sure they'd be open. She assured me they would be, but when I got there the office was closed. --my dentures fit horribly, and I barely wear them. I would not recommend this office at all, I only went because I have crap dental insurance that only allows me to go these types of places. I made it very clear to the receptionist when booking the appointment that I only had my insurance for one more week and needed to get in for a teeth cleaning which they accommodated and I appreciated that. When I showed up I was told that I was only there for x-rays and that they book their cleanings later on. I again told the receptionist that I was not made aware of that when booking the appointment and that I only had insurance through the end of the week which I had made very clear when booking the appt. She said that their booking center or something wasn't doing a good job of explaining that and their reasoning was that they see so many patients its hard to know what type of cleaning people need? I proceeded with my x-rays which were incredibly uncomfortable for my mouth and it seemed like the woman doing them had no clue what she was doing, I had to retake several of them. My teeth were completely fine - no cavities and no root issues but I was told that I had gingivitis and needed a "special cleaning" for gingivitis. I was ushered to a room where I was told that since this is a "special cleaning" insurance doesn't cover it all, so there would be extra costs involved and I would need to have additional appointments scheduled (again I told them probably not since I don't have insurance much longer). I paid the fee and was conveniently able to return the next day for my cleaning. At the cleaning appt the hygienist was very nice - but all she did was scrap the plaque off my teeth and then give me some "prescription mouthwash" that she told me was probably going to stain my teeth, but that when I returned again in 2-3 weeks for the other part of my cleaning it would probably come off when they do the buff and fluoride. By this point I was completely annoyed. I understand they mentioned two different cleanings, but to come back to have a third cleaning just to do the buffing?? I have NEVER in my life been to any dentist office where you don't do x-rays and cleaning - that includes the plaque scrapping AND the buffing- all in in ONE visit. And to be told this is some sort of "special gingivitis cleaning" seemed like a complete scam. It is just a way for them to over charge and be able to bill more visits. I would stay away. read more

Sketchy place! I too was drawn in by the close location & friendly staff. The took tons of xrays even through I had just had some 6 months ago stating they like to have their own. Then it seemed like when they didn't find anything wrong with my xrays they did an oral exam and said I had periodontal disease that leads too bone loss. I was never told this by my old dentist (that I went to every 6 mos) but needed to change because of my insurance. Then the office manager takes me into this room and tells me I will need to come in every 3 months which will come to over $700. He also would not look me in the eye when he was talking to me either. Also, while I was in the waiting room I heard someone else asking to speak to a regional manager. I don't plan on going back there & I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I went. I was drawn to Aspen by the short distance, great commercials and prices. The welcoming staff was very friendly, but the knowledge seemed to be lacking with the next gal, who took the X-rays and blood pressure. Next the dentist came in, looked at the x-Rays, did a quick look over. Then she told me what needed to be done, given the fact that her English was very difficult to understand. I was totally flabbergasted by her words, asking about implants, her reply was "we don't do implants". She was at at her best not talking.... The results were VERY expensive, but yes very quick. I chose the more inexpensive route until I can get a second opinion. The only procedure that they chose to pursue was dentures, which is the only avenue they take, no other options are discussed. Do not plan on returning, fine for a simple cavity repair I am assuming, but maybe they would still want to sell you dentures......not too sure, but not going to find out. read more
