I cannot say enough positive things about this dentistry practice. From the first phone call to…read moretheir office to the most recent appointment, my case has been handled with exceptional expertise and compassion. Dr. Dowsett and all the staff took great care to thoroughly examine and explain not only my clinical dental situation but also how it might be impacting my overall health. This involved testing and analysis I've not experienced at any other dental practice. In addition to a total review and upgrade of best dental home hygiene practices, this process got me started on changes that have already had a verified, positive impact on my dental health. They are also similarly impeccable in managing the physical space for optimal public health. The practice has separate treatment rooms, state of the art medical grade air filtration systems and a robust respirator protocol. I know that I'm on the road to better dental and general health thanks to the excellence of Complete Health Dentistry of Portland. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a next-level dentistry experience- especially if you feel you've tried everything else!

This office is awful. It's the staff for me. The Doctor does fine. The staff doesn't follow through…read moreon tasks like referrals, and appointment follow up. If you know your process is to refer a patient to endo for a root canal and per your company policy your general dentist does the crown- you close the referral loop and get your patient schedule for the crown. If you tell a patient they need a referral in February for endo/ you get it sent out in February. Not in APRIL. To then never call to schedule the restoration appointment. So a month later I'm calling because why has this not been done yet? I work in the medical field. I know how referrals are supposed to work. They blamed the office they referred too. Then tell me while I have temporary filling I can't get in until July. Say they'll call me back to work something out. To once again drop the ball and not call back. I'm filing a report with the insurance commission. Why am I paying for monthly dental insurance when you can't even get me in to be seen? On top of it my insurance ends in June. At this point they're essentially stealing my money. Oh and they did not make me aware of the cost share involved with my root canal ahead of time. So that was a $200 unexpected surprise. ---- Update: I sent this to the member services email below. They forwarded my email to the office manager at this location. She was not able to come up with a solution. She was apologetic though continuously placed blame on everyone but her staff. She said she's been managing the clinic for 11 years and couldn't speak on all the rest of these Yelp reviews. Well. Maybe it's time to look at management... I'm saying that as respectful as possible. She also went to say "we fully treated your tooth, a crown is separate from a root canal. Not all teeth that have root canals need crowns. One- your endo and my assigned general dentist at your office both said this tooth needs a crown. Two a tooth is not fully treated with a temporary filling. It's also getting painful again. They are honestly neglectful to patients. I won't only be reporting Willamette Dental to the insurance commission, I'm lodging a complaint with Oregon Board if Dentistry. It's the continued lack of follow up that's the problem.
