I have found the Best Dentist i have ever had...and I am no spring chicken. I don't like needles in the mouth at all...but Dr. Honda with precision, prepares you for every moment..her caring touch works wonders. She explains and because she is an expert, she moves with speed and because she does . It's over and she has move to the next patient. She told me I would feel pressure pulling five teeth, I didn't. No pain whatsoever. Just a smile and comfort is what you get. Next day no pain . Amazing to me.Her team from receptionist to finance and in between, classy and genuine yet all business...they care about the patient. We are not customers...I LOVE THAT !!! Dr Hoodi Brockton The Dr/Owner was very stressed and and in no condition to relieve dental anxiety for patients. Lol The Dr was angered when I insisted she answer why she expects final payment on a denture before u try it on... The Dr stated she requires Brockton seniors to pay in full before before their last appointment and final denture fit. This owner is crazy.. They were quick when you arrived but it was the experience after that sucked. I was in extreme pain and they were to send pain meds and antibiotics to pharmacy and 5 hours later my pharmacy didn't get the prescription. they weren't answering phones and had to go through the line to make appointments and spoke to someone there who was able to get through right away "red flag ". The next day I went to where I was referred to fix my tooth and had to call again for them to send my xrays that they stated would be sent with my referral... it wasn't coincidentally... heres the best part... they finally sent the X-rays and they werent even mine but a different client. I'm sorry but this place is VERY unprofessional and I would neverrrrrrr recommend anyone to go there!!! Quality of care?? I wish I read all of the reviews before I came to this horrible dental office. If I could put 0 stars I would! I got all of my wisdom teeth taken out about year ago. Before the procedure was started I spoke to the lady who dealt with all of the billing. She assured me that my insurance would only pay a certain amount and that I can pay the rest via credit card. I've been paying this bill on time every month for a year now. Now they're saying that I OWE them an additional $600! I was never given a phone call, an email, a bill, and no one said anything to me in person when I came for my cleanings! This place only cares about money NOT the patients! I know people tend to not be particularly fond of going to the dentist. I found myself in a situation where I haven't been to a dentist since I was a kid, and its been probably around 10-15 years since I finally went in. I needed to get a bunch of cavities filled and also needed 3 crowns. The entire staff was great and friendly and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Dr. Hooda was also great and did wonderful work! I never thought I would be the person that was actually excited to go to the dentist but being heading home after each appointment and watching my teeth become more and more healthy after each appointment has been worth the experience. I still have a one or two more appointments to go but overall I would highly recommend this place. If anyone from the team at Aspen reads this, thank you so much for all the work you've done! read more

They say the sign of an excellent practice is its staff, teamwork and Consistency. I can't say enough about the consistent attention and service I receive from Dr Hooda and staff....especially Tiffany. Every six months that I visit this practice I receive a through dental evaluation, cleaning, oral health review (to improve upon what I might be slacking off on in my daily oral health regime), and answers to questions that I have about my teeth. Like many others, I have challenges with a few of my teeth that require a bit more attention, and I receive exactly that from Dr Hooda and Tiffany. LOL, I may not like what I hear about what's going on in my mouth, but I am definitely willing to try and am receptive to the information and suggestions I receive. Again Would give 5 negative stars if I could!! Went to this aspen dental in Brockton for dentures 3 years ago..back again this time to get implants to convert to snap in was told I had to go to Dedham office to get image done as they didn't have the equipment in that office $350 was asked to come back see oral surgeon because dr hooda didn't feel comfortable doing the procedure..... back again the next week to meet with dr Bateman got estimate for procedure all good so far Sit down with skylar the assistant manager and was told procedure couldn't schedule til 3/22 unfortunately I'm traveling that weekend so was then informed the next available appointment was some time in april so I asked for her to check other aspen dentals she found an appointment on 3/227 day after I get back at the same aspen dental in Dedham where I had the imaging done PERFECT so I asked her to schedule it dr hooda came around the corner and says " oh no we'd really like you to have the procedure done here so I can assist come back next week to pay deposit and she'll find out when dr Bateman is back in office"..... fast forward a week I come in to pay the deposit for the procedure $10000 by the way as a soon as I pay dr hooda comes and says they can't do procedure in that office til 4/27 now 6 weeks later so I tell her I'm gonna look around for someone to do it earlier she responds " oh no you can't go somewhere else to u have to have it done here" I asked why and she just stormed away.....in the meantime the office staff is trying to get my xray and inform me they have to figure it out and they'll call me later.... I leave and call the aspen dental in Dedham they still have the 27th open with dr Bateman great so I explain my situation they say yup we have it let me put you on hold...15-20 mins later she comes back and tell me she was wrong there's no opening til the one on 4/27 in Brockton ok ty I call aspen dental in Hanover yes they have an appointment can't remember the day we have all you records but the dr would want to meet you but the only appoint is in HYANNIS so I schedule an appointment to drive to HYANNIS from Brockton about 45 mins one way IF your lucky just to meet dr lee ok life's good check my messages and they're a message from Aspen dental in Brockton saying " this is Michaela from the Brockton aspen dental we'd like you to get in touch with us regarding the multiple appointments you have scheduled at other aspen dentals unfortunately there seems to be a discrepancy however we'd like you to call us back please to clear this up til then all you appointments have been cancelled" Discrepancy.... I informed you when I left I was gonna try to find a sooner appointment!!! I came here 2017 and got a tooth pulled worst experience of my life ... I booked the appt with sedation ..... that didn't happen they lied. And the gas didn't work ...dr tired to blame me ... she was mad that I kept moving it hurt because she kept apply to much pressure to my jaw I have tmj .... then the tooth broke and she got even more mad at me and gave me an attitude as I was crying and shaking ... Then last month sept / October I scheduled a cleaning. They never did it they said I needed a 900$ deep cleaning and I had 6 cavities one that she wasn't going to fill yet because it was almost a root canal Saying that my gums were at an 8-9 ... I went back to get some fillings done a few week after ... she did 2 ... she was rude and yelled at me to keep my mouth open. Again I have tmj and can't hold my mouth open very long ... and got more angry with the metal loop would go around my tooth so he forced it in there and cut up my gums ... when she was done .. she just left she didn't say by or check my bite she just walked away ... That filling week I went back to my old dentist in Easton. They did an amazing cleaning. And I don't need a 900$ My gums were at a 2-4 ....and now I need a root canal and I have 8 cavities not 4 .... I typically go to Aspen Dental in Hanover, however the oral surgeon would not be available at that location until June. Hanover suggested the Brockton location as it was the next closest location to where I live. My appointment was scheduled for 8 am Friday morning. The Monday prior I received an email to confirm my appointment, which I did. Today I arrived at the office at 7:55 and signed in. At 8:20 when I still hadn't been taken I asked when I would be seen as my appointment was at 8. The receptionist stated that they were finishing up with a patient and they would be with me shortly. If the office opens at 8, and my appointment was at 8, wouldn't I be the first appointment? Perhaps they open earlier and are running behind. If that is the case it would be nice to be informed that they are running behind. If they needed to help someone with an emergency, again I understand, however it would be nice to be informed that they needed to move my appointment. Finally at 8:58, I was called. My X-ray was taken, I saw the surgeon for about 5 mins and I was told to call Hanover for an estimate of what my procedure would cost. As a working individual, I carefully scheduled this appointment first thing in the morning to not miss work. I'm highly disappointed with this location and will do everything I can to not have to come back. read more

If I could rate this at zero stars I would! The staff was extremely rude and had an attitude as if they would rather be somewhere else. They kept screwing up the billing and couldn't figure out how to contact the proper department at Blue Cross. It's not Joe's insurance company, it's a major insurance company! One of my children has a small mouth opening. I told the technician that, and she said "we only have one size for the X ray inserts, so not much we can do about that". I told her we were leaving. Warning!!! If you are in pain and in need of an oral surgeon and you do not have FULL dental insurance, do not waste your time at this place. My dental plan is Avia which is not full insurance coverage. However, being that I was willing to pay whatever the cost to rid myself of the pain, these people kept referring me to a surgeon outside of themselves for the procedure. Fine except this surgeon doesn't take my dental plan? Why is it that this place that accepts my plan and claims to have many capable surgeons keeps referring me elsewhere where it isn't accepted? I call to tell them this and all I get is that they have to look into things, in which they have yet to get back to me. My entire left side of my face was infected and it spread. I then had to find another dentist very far away who accepted my plan and actually scheduled a procedure. Unfortunately, this place was booked for the next two months but I still took the date rather than deal with liars who act as if you are some con artist trying to get over on having a tooth pulled. She is gentle and i leave with a refreshing clean mouth everytime! Staff there is really nice also. I also had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out here and it was soo easy. Of course I felt like I was having an our of body experience with the laughing gas they gave me. My denture lost a tooth on Tuesday 2/16/2021. I called Wednesday 2/17/2021 and was told to drop my denture off and it will be fixed by Thursday afternoon. I dropped the denture off on that Wednesday around noontime. I made sure they had the correct phone number before I left the Aspen office ( they wrote it down). Today it is Saturday morning 2/20/2021, I have no denture and have not received a call. I went to their website to get the number to call and find out what is going on. When I called, I received an automated message that they are not open on Saturday even though the website says they are open from 8AM to 3PM. If you google Aspen Dental Brockton MA, the first entry states that "Aspen Dental is Open on 2/20/2021". This is beyond frustrating and completely unprofessional. This is a very poorly run operation. They make promises they can't keep and they're too disorganized to keep their hours straight through automated messages and social media. I have been a patient for over 8 years and their service has slowly deteriorated to the point that I've had it. I had dinner plans for this evening that I have had to cancel because I have no upper teeth and I have no idea when I will get them back! Time for a new dentist. Stay away!! The Billing department has idea what they are doing. I was given an estimate of $480 out of pocket for all my dental work (5) visits. I thought the amount was low so I asked them again. I was told my insurance is really good and out of pocket would be approximately $480. I scheduled my appointments over a 3week period of time. On my first visit I paid approximately $125. Second visit I was told I had to pay $700 out of pocket. I told them this must be a mistake because I was told $480 in total and this was only the second visit. These idiots ran my current dental insurance and dental insurance from a previous job I had 3 years ago??? Don't you check effectively dates of insurance policies on file? They asked for my insurance card and I gave it to them prior to my service. If had known the true estimated out of pocket cost, I would have had the opportunity to prioritized my treatment plan. Instead, got stuck paying for treatment that was not a priority and had to forego the treatment that I really needed. I will never go back to Aspen Dental and I would stay away if I were you. Right, I had been going here for a few years as well, every year or two a new doctor. I had to have a molar given a root canal, they sent me somewhere for that and I returned and they put on a crown. So far so good, they also had a large number of other things and I didn't have the cash at the time so I put it off until I had more money. Fast forward about 18 months for the birth of our first son and I come back in to start on that list. All of a sudden they want to rip out 3 teeth and put in a partial denture. I misunderstood them and asked the next day and they talked me into it, trying to get me started on the spot. I was feeling pressured and put it off. I am scared of dentists. The teeth they want to pull are never in pain or are sensitive and I have more pressing problems (I have a tooth with a root canal and no crown) They wanted me to go through the prescribed doctors plan and wanted payment up front for several procedures. I am now scared. The manager in training didn't know what a FSA loan was, they are pushing me to do things I don't want and trying to fast talk me. They got my money and had me sign a paper saying I understood everything. I really didn't though and once I did, it would be around 6 thousand dollars before I would get that permanent denture and I would have a temp until I got there. They would accept no changes to this plan. I look up on the internet and low and behold this is all a standard Aspen dental tactic. They get money for their dentures, bonuses. I feel like I have been violated, I was already deathly afraid of the dentist and now I feel I can't trust them. The lady who does the cleanings has been there for a long time and is really great, the billing staff is predatory, and the doctors change often. I heard them talking about how many poeple come and go from the office as I waited in the waiting room. I took out a loan at work, excited to start knocking out the problems I have and getting them solved. But what did I get? I got a predatory staff following a playbook of upselling and high pressure. If you don't believe me google this company and see the horror stories, when I told the lady I planned on putting a review up, she told me there would always be more patients, and that if I was not happy to leave. Terrible place. I made an appointment for a cleaning because my regular Dentist could not fit me in this Month and to get my two visits in for the year I needed to have my teeth cleaned in June. My appointment was 12:00 noon. Someone from Aspen Dental called me a few hours before my appointment and asked if I could come in at 10:00 or 11:00 am. I selected 11:00 am. I arrived at 10:45 am as requested to do my paperwork about 11:10 am they called me in and they did so many x rays I was uncomfortable. I told them that I had x rays in December but they said they had to do them. I was then asked to sit in a cubicle and after about 15 minutes the Dental Technician came in. The person who did the x rays hovered around the cubicle the entire time I was waiting. Anyway the Technician claimed that she was going to assess my mouth and both her and the x ray Technician claimed they where assessing my mouth/gums according to some numbered code and the higher the numbers it meant that I had an infection and would require 'deep cleaning' The Dental Technician also reviewed my x rays in my presence. I asked them if that is covered by my Insurance and they claimed they did not know and I needed to have a financial consult. I pointed out to them that I had been there for over an hour and they had not even started to clean my teeth and I was told that I may not have a cleaning today. I had to agree to their strong arm tactics to have the 'deep cleaning' I felt as though I was been scammed and I told them that I wanted to leave. They suggested that I wait for the Dentist. The Dentist came in and viewed my mouth and stated that I did not have any cavities. That's all she said and did. She Never Mentioned My X Rays OR Anything that the other two Gals where trying to sell me. That made me even more uncomfortable. I pointed out to them again that I have been going to the Dentist twice a year for many years and that I had x rays December 2015 and they where fine. I go to a Dentist that has two offices and several Dentists. Whenever I have my teeth cleaned, if my Dentist is not there one of his Colleagues views my mouth and they have never mentioned any issues with my mouth that these two found. At my Dentist the Dental Technician does the x rays and she will have them ready for the Dentist to review and the Dentist is the one that discuses the x rays with me. Just like if you have a medical test the technician does not discuss the results with you, the Doctor does. At Aspen it seems as though the Technicians run the show. Before I left they had the financial person come get me from the cubicle and she acted as though she was selling me a car or a house, I told her all I wanted was a simple cleaning and since they are refused. I would like to leave, well the Clerk started to lecture me about my teeth as though she was the Dentist ?? a violation of HIPAA. Now the Clerk is giving me medical advice. Another cause for discomfort was I found the office dirty. I used the restroom and it was just not up to snuff( did not look or smell clean). The place did not look clean enough to me at all and the x ray Technician was running around with her gloves on, she left my sight for a few seconds and when she returned she started opening up the packages that where sitting by the second X ray machine and placed the items in my mouth without changing her gloves. read more

while my first appointment for xrays was wonderful, they are extremely patient and great at finding the best payment options, my visit today was a whole other story. I had two extractions to be done and as he started, I felt EVERYTHING. I told him I could feel it and he said its just pressure, almost with an attitude. both teeth I felt it and had to get nearly get out of the chair to get him to stop and listen to me, nearly had to argue for more novacaine. He was anything but gentle, typically a twisting and pulling motion but he just pulled and pulled like he was guessing how to do it. the second tooth was on my left side which he stood on my right side to do-weird. Again I could feel everything, he "gave" me half a shot of novacaine if that and I could still feel everything but he kept telling me "its almost done" instead of stopping to help ne feel less pain. again he yanked and yanked and didn't hold my head still or anything so my body is nearly being pulled from the chair by my tooth. he finally rips it out and says all done, when youre ready you can go and I wrote you a prescription and then leaves. his assistant hardly ever used the vaccume, I was inhaling my blood the whole time. I was never told what I was prescribed and wasn't told anything about post op other than to change my gauze and to eat liquids. not how long I have to do so, didnt give me a chance to ask questions, gave me a paper and off they went. The novacaine with any other procedure I've had has last 3 hours post procedure but this didnt even last 5 minutes after the operation. worst experience and incredibly traumatic! read more

Just wanted to thank Dr. Isha Hooda and staff for making each one of my dental visits under their care a very relaxing, humorous and stress free experience. I've been a patient at the Brockton Aspen Dental location for 3 years and decided it was time for me to commend every staff member for their professionalism, hard work, great sense of humor, and attention to detail; especially while addressing dental pain management and dental hygiene. I'm a flight attendant, and two weeks ago I had a huge abscess on my gums; since I was outside the country one of my sisters made an emergency appointment for me. I was nervous at first because I wasn't sure how soon I could be seen by Dr Hooda. I may not be a nervous traveler, but I am a nervous dental patient. My sister stated that the receptionist was very pleasant and that there was no problem scheduling the emergency appointment around the time I made it home from work. As I age I pay a lot of attention to what's going on with my body, and I try to make sure I maintain a healthy diet and exercise regime, my dental hygiene is no different. This means I want to know what's going on when I experience a problem. After a warm and friendly greeting (as usual), Dr Hooda and staff put me at ease by: x-raying the area where the abscess occurred, explained what was going on with my tooth, explained how the infection may have occurred, explained treatment options, as well as addressed the infection and pain management. So I am here to say that I still have my smile thanks to the exceptional Aspen Dental team in Brockton. I absolutely loathe the dentist office, have my entire life. It wasn't until last year that I started to going to Aspen in Brockton. I absolutely love my Dentist, she changed my smile and my life. She is extremely gentle and understanding. And she knows what she is doing. They worked with me with my financial situation (their front desk workers are amazing and friendly as well) I no longer fear the dentist, and I am so happy to show off my new smile. This dentist office reminds me of a car dealership. They add services you don't request to your appointment without consulting you. Hidden fees and unnecessary additions to the process are common practice here. You should never feel pressured to spend more money at a dentist! It is so obvious that Aspen Dental is a corporation with $$$$$ on their mind. Trust me there are better options for dentists out there, this is not the place to go. You might find you owe them money for something you didn't ask for, don't need, and wasn't told about. Not to sure if the spelling ia correct but I called asking to get a copy of x-Ray and go to another dentist that cost way less expensive. Apen dental for deep cleaning asked around $ 1000 with dental insurance whereas I could find any other dental office with same dental insurance for around $300-400 . spent $3000. for top of the line dentures in 2013 at the Brockton Aspen Dental at Westgate Mall. The front tooth fell out twice. Once at work and the other while just talking to someone. I went back to the office and they offered to put the broken tooth back in the spot, once they order tooth!!. When I said that it was an inferior product they tried to tell me that it happened due to the way I must bite down. Are you kidding me?? They're blaming me!! I was humiliated and embarrassed and they have a nerve to blame me? I asked for a new set of dentures or my money back. Well they informed me that the "guarantee" is for repairs only! I wish it was possible to give this practice ZERO stars. I felt as though I had two cavities in the back of my mouth a little over a year ago. I went to see them as soon as I felt something wasn't right on top of never missing a 6 month check up in my life. They assured me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. I went back FIVE more times from then up until now and each time they told me that there was nothing wrong, no cavities, and that my gums were simply "just super sensitive" which was causing my discomfort. Finally, I decided to leave ASPEN and go to a new practice. Well, the two teeth that I KNEW needed filings over a year ago now need ROOT CANALS because of the incompetent, sorry excuses for dentists that work at ASPEN. My mother, same time frame, now needs teeth REMOVED because they told her that her teeth were fine as well. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.
