Dr. Elkadry, in Quincy Center, is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I've had quite a lot of work done to my teeth and have seen many different dentists over the span of 30 years. Today I have a smile I can be proud of all thanks to Dr Elkadry. I call him the Crown King because of the extensive work they have done with crowns and root canals. Unlike most dentists, where you have to have a temporary crown for a couple of weeks while they send the molds out to be processed. Here they do the crowns in house! You wait for about an hour and your crown is ready, the same day! I will never go anywhere else to have my teeth worked on! read more

I am high risk for COVID and am finally catching up on years late teeth cleaning (and last week eye doctor). I was overjoyed to find that masks are still required in the waiting room for this practice AND they were running a HEPA filter. Great to be less likely risking my life for a check up. The staff were wonderful & Dr. Elkadry was very kind/understanding about the delay since my last cleaning. I also have a 1 month old baby so the doctor talked with me about pregnancy and breast feeding hormones and what they do to teeth. I would highly recommend this practice for dental care. The only drawback is that you have to call to make an appointment - no online option. read more

Very Disappointed and Felt Scammed I had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Ekbal H. Elkadry, DMD, and Dr. Noha. I went in for a consultation, specifically asking for a dental bridge, but instead of listening to my request, both doctors kept pushing me toward getting an implant--something I clearly said I did not want. It felt less like a healthcare visit and more like a high-pressure sales pitch. No matter how many times I stated my preference for a bridge, they continued to insist on the implant option, making me feel uncomfortable and unheard. I left feeling like their main priority was to upsell a more expensive procedure rather than respect my choices or explain why an implant might be better. A dental visit should be about trust, clear communication, and care. Unfortunately, that's not what I received here. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for honest and patient-focused care. read more

Save yourself and skip this dental practice. From a simple procedure I ended up having to get a root canal and lost $2,000. After the initial procedure I returned with pain, they told me I only needed to file down the filling, and that the tooth was perfect and nowhere near needing a root canal. The pain was constant for about a year. I moved to another practice and they told me that the tooth was hurt beyond repair and I needed a root canal. The Elkadry dentist drilled too deeply. I called to let them know, but they never called me back or offered any time of remuneration for the time and money I had to spend. This was their mistake and they didn't have an OUNCE of decency to at least help me pay for the root canal they forced me to endure. read more

mMy recent implant went well enough. But when it came time to get the crown, the impression taken was not accurate, the crown did not fit properly, the crown had to be modified for almost an hour to make it fit, and when it was screwed to the implant, it was not tight enough, so the tooth ended up being loose. After all that, I chose not to go back to this office, but to go to a different dentist. The new dentist informed me that the screw had not been tightened properly for the brand of implant, and he had to remove the filling, tighten the screw and replace the filling. I requested from the Elkadry office only that they reimburse me the amount that the new dentist had charged me to do the repair. They refuse to pay, saying I should've gone back to the first dentist. Why would anyone want to back to a practice that had made so many mistakes?? I consider this extremely unprofessional and do not recommend this office to anyone, in spite of the fact that the first dentist I saw for the implant was excellent. read more

Dr Elkadry is the best dentist ever. Growing up I had a dentist that was horrific and since 11 years old I've been petrified of the dentist, Any dentist and I have been to many many different ones. I found this dentist 10+ years and would go no where else. She is the kindest person and understands my fears and always makes me feel better and never ashamed of my fear. I have been seeing Dr Elkadry since i was a law student in 1987. No only is Dr. Elkadry superb at dentistry, she is a compassionate and kind person. It seems as though they run through dentist quickly as every time I came in I was being introed to someone new. I am not satisfied with how years of loyalty and referrals were treated nor am I satisfied with the condition of my teeth from their services. Three days ago I would have given this office a five star. After many years of "forgetting" to go to the dentist, I was forced to go due to a few broken teeth. I kept pushing the appointments back and back in pure embarrassment. I didn't know what the dentist would think or say when she looked into my mouth and saw all the work that needed to be done. Well, the first office I could not get out fast enough. Both the very young dentist and hygienist we rude, snobby and mean. Stating "you look like you take care of your teeth, so why are they breaking"? - ummm what? Your the dentist, that's why I'm here... YOU TELL ME! So after that experience I was intimidated to go anywhere else. So it turns out soft teeth run in my family and now it was my mother's turn to the dentist. This office was her choice and she loved it! She told me all about her great experience and loved her outcome! She ranted about the staff and told me I just had to go. As I did. I couldn't believe how right she was!! I did not feel embarrassed at all. I didn't catch my dentist name but she was a young dentist. She was so pleasant to work with; and let me tell you, I did not feel one ounce of pain. She was great and made me feel so comfortable. I did not hesitate to make the next appointment. This is half my fault I will take some blame. So the next week came and my appointment snuck right up on me. I had been out of work sick the whole week and was not feeling it at all but still decided to get right back in there. My appointment was for 10:30am and I confused it for 11am. I never received a confirmation call before hand until I was late. So I asked the receptionist if it would still be OK if I came in at 11am or should I change it. (knowing other patients were sure to be booked, and I didn't wanna mess that all up) she put me in hold and then returned saying 11am would be fine. When I got there she looked at me like I was crazy and told me I had to reschedule. - your kidden right??? Nope she wasn't, I rescheduled. I couldn't believe after the phone call we had just had she did this to me. She blew the 5 star. I will return, on time, with a smile... But that made me angry. read more

Stay away !!!! I went to this dentist office in my teen years , they DESTROYED my teeth. I never had problems with my teeth but she drilled perfectly fine teeth into shells and put huge filling in them . And they always fell out ! Everyone I know that has gone to her has massive issues with their teeth. I think she drills willy nilly to rack up a huge bill and takes advantage of kids . Save yourself . Me and my family have been following with Dr Elkadry for years . Dr Elkadry and her team have always gone out of their way to help us out . I had to have a lot of complex work including a root canal a crown and several fillings I didn't feel any pain at all and she explained all the steps and showed me the digital xrays and the results are amazing .The staff and the doctors went out of their way to accommodate my appointments over a short period of time as I travel a lot . This review is strictly for the receptionists. I myself work as a receptionist for a large-volume company and know that when it comes to your clients, you must always be patient and calm. Consistently, this has not been the case with the receptionist area here. They are rude and condescending, constantly talking to you as if you know nothing about what you are coming there for. They cut you off mid-sentence and make you feel like you aren't allowed to make any objections. I called and was redirected to an impatient voice belonging to a woman named Yuleida (sp?). As I began to descrie to her my situation, I was immediately cut off and treated like I was either lying or so stupid that I was to blame for my predicament. She continued to raise her voice at me and failed to let me speak as she kept interjecting every other sentence I attempted to utter. As I told her that I didn't appreciate her attitude she got angry and continued her ways. I have no issue with the actual practitioners though, but the receptionist desk has continued to fail me over and over again, and I have been going to this office for at least 5 years now. They are the first ordeal you encounter on a visit and it makes you not want to return if these are the people who you have to trust to maintain your file. read more

the dentist wasn't bad but what made me never want to come back is that she seemed to be treating her dental assistant not too nicely. the dentist was never mean to me but she was rolling her eyes and just treating her assistant like she was annoyed by her. her assistant was this sweet lady who seems to speak English as a second language. i didn't appreciate watching that poor lady be treated that way so i cant go back to this place. read more

After years of not smiling and being told by other dentists that I would have to have full dentures at age 40 I had given up hope. A friend finally convinced me to go see Dr Negahban.. If I could give this place zero or negative stars I would! Please people, especially if you have children.. BE AFRAID be VERY AFRAID and STAY AWAY. Your smile and health of your teeth stays with you for the rest of your life, but believe me this place could care less about the health of your teeth just the money they can make off you. The state of Massachusetts does not approve adult root canals and crowns, so they do a LOT of their business off their younger patients which Masshealth does approve. Procedures are done that are completely unnecessary and sadly to say I have become a victim of this exploitation and my mouth and teeth are forever destroyed. This place harbors dental students and they love to do unnecessary procedures for the students to practice. I have been to this office at least 12 times. Every single one of my teeth were drilled at the age of 15. My mother was not around to sign any consents on root canals and crowns, so this place had a field day using me as a guinea pig. I was given front tooth crown for no reason and they never even told me what they were doing. I only found out after the procedure my front tooth was drilled down to a stub! The fillings (in every tooth) were unusually large, my whole tooth was carved out and packed with metal. Needless to say years later the thin eggshells that were left as my teeth have broken off. My whole mouth is left in shambles. Im sad, angry, bitter, bewildered, and down right disgusted that this place can get away with such criminal acts. My front tooth crown was NEVER placed in properly and i ended up swallowing it. Instead of this office paying to correct their fault, they charged me at the age of 16 for a new crown. It was the only cash i had in my name. I am older now and have gone through college and realize what happened to me is not right. I went to another dentist who could not believe their eyes at the terrible work that was done on my teeth and told me the procedures were done in a very "old fashion way." Additionally, the dentist told me the bubbles on my gums were a result of material left inside my root and then sealed back up. Unfortunately I did not have the money to fix this mistake and have been living with this botched root canal procedure for years. This is something that has haunted me for years. The unusual exploitation of a young adult under the age of 18. The result has been immense amount of pain and the inability to smile, as well as psychological damage. I think of my teeth daily and wish i could smile without the broken apart teeth and bubbled gums showing.
