Do not go here. I had a pull that wasn't stitched at the discretion of Dr. Ibanez, it bleed…read moreunnecessarily all night and the next day. I've had several pull done before this and each dentist had the discretion to stitch the flaps of loose skin together. For my second visit and installing the tooth, I was prescribed amoxicillin which had already been noted that I was allergic to in the first surgery. The amoxicillin had to be swapped out for Clindamycin and along the way the pain med and the mouth rinse dropped off the Costco formulary when I went to pick it up. I requested to have that phoned back in but received push back from the admin Bethany stating that it will be phoned over a few days before the surgery. I work for the military and have an unforgiving schedule and wanted to pick it up on the weekend and expressed as much to the office worker Bethany. This request was made over 8 days ago and now that I am 7 days out and looking to pick it up this weekend. Dr. refused to phone my meds in for an entire week and even now as I am 7 days to the oral surgery and have time on the weekend was still being stone walled. Due to their negligence in ignoring a documented antibiotic allergy, the office was required to submit a correctio order to Costco, and in canceling the first order, they did not bother to ensure that the oral rinse and pain meds were still in the formulary. Bethany the admin, was patronizing to the demands of my schedule and repeatedly told me that "Dr. Ibenez will send it in when he has time. I can't pull him out of surgery or council for this." My needs as a patient absolutely put her off. Apparently, there's no set time slots or delegations in place during the work week for the insignificance of ensuring patients get their meds with some built I padded time. When I spoke over her out of frustration for her response, she threatened she'd hang up on me if I didn't allow her to finish her sentence, while offering no new solves. I'm told that due to the nature of the controlled substance, the day of sending over the prescription is based on the judgment of the doctor, you know when he has time. Am I being assumed a substance abuser? A suspicion pinned on me from them dropping the ball on antibiotics? The first go around they had notified me with a 7 day notice... Bethany should not be in a patient facing capacity until she receives further guidance and is capable of doing her job. Yeah, sure go here, Dr. Ibanez and Bethany's competence is unparalleled.

Everything went smoothly, from check in to new patient paperwork to cleaning and X-rays. The hygienist was a superstar, dealing with a couple of areas that were hard to clean in my small mouth. She performed the root canal with great precision and talked to me through all the steps. She made me feel very comfortable. The office is quite clean and I had no worries about COVID issues. He also made several comments talking down to me about how long I had waited and that obviously I didn't care about my dental hygiene. Then, I saw the dental hygienist and she was so friendly and really good at her job. She took time to explain everything she was doing and how it helped my teeth. She made sure to let me know that my teeth were strong and with a little work, they would be perfect. I plan on still going here as it is convenient but did consider switching doctors. I haven't yet because I figured that I could deal with someone being rude so long as the work I need done is getting done.

He extracted the tooth and then convinced me to not only replace the tooth with an implant but to get an implant for a second tooth that had previously been removed. I was told the total cost would be $5,500. I was never told that for this amount it would only be the posts inserted and it would be an additional $5,000 more to have the actual teeth implanted. There was never any discussion that I would be charged an additional amount. When I went for a check up to confirm that my mouth had healed and the implants could be inserted, I was then told about the additional $5,000. Now I know why the parking lot was empty and why I was able to get an appointment within a few days of contacting them.

Dental hygienist was knowledgeable about the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and all of my questions were answered. I…read morehave a few stubborn teeth that have chipped and re-chipped over the years, which was the reason for my appointment. They are so sharp that they cut holes in my retainer and make it uncomfortable to eat. The dental team refused to even smooth down my teeth because--this is a direct quote--"teeth are supposed to be sharp to cut your food". Instead they referred me to a physical therapist to correct a jaw misalignment, which they declared was the source of the teeth chipping. They said there's no use in fixing the painful teeth or getting a new retainer until my jaw is fixed. I've never had any problem with my jaw and no doctor or dentist has ever mentioned a misalignment before. It felt as if their sole job was to make referrals. Everything I said was ignored. They also told me that my insurance would cover x-rays including bitewings, which they then recanted and charged me for after the fact. It was beyond frustrating, and I still have chipped teeth. What a waste of time and money.
