I wish I would have found them sooner. I had to get my molar extracted and I was in a panic. The assistant was caring (made me feel safe) and the doctor was gentle every step of the way. I didn't feel a thing. He injected novacaine and I felt nothing. Before pulling my teeth he tested the area, I felt a little bit of pain and he put numb it some more. I felt nothing. The molar was out before I knew it. AMAZING!! I am not one to write reviews, but I had to let everyone know that I was going back and forth about taking a valium or nitrous and I didn't need either. I would highly recommend this dentist to all my friends. I even got an appointment for my son because he will be a patient as well. He was also honest and not trying to take my money and their prices are super reasonable. I went to another dentist in Clermont and they weren't honest and were trying to upcharge everything. Dr. Haidar was upfront and when I told him some of the things that they wanted to do to me at the other dentist, he told me there was no need, he'd just be taking my money if he did the procedure. I even had everything printed out and ready for them, which i thought they were grateful to have it. I proceeded with my appointment, and I was told that I could not get a cleaning due to a gum disease, and that I needed treatment, even though I had no issues or pain in my mouth. I went along with it, and they gave me an estimate of $291-$575, stating that my insurance only covered $10. I told them that couldn't be right and asked them to double-check with my insurance. Instead of double-checking, I got a sassy and rude receptionist who asked me if I knew how to read the codes and the estimate. I told them I just wanted them to confirm with my insurance, as I had provided the benefits, and I knew that some of it was covered. I was done at this point, so I took the paper and left, saying I would call my insurance myself. When I called my insurance, they told me that they covered most of it, bringing the cost down to around $60-$80. I then called the receptionist back, with my insurance on the line, and he seemed surprised and a bit defensive. He said he would send me a new, updated estimate, but I never received it. I definitely won't be going back to this place. And by the way, it's not a law that they can't clean my teeth due to gum disease- they need to make sure they are stating the correct information to patients.Tehe correct way to say it is that they refuse to clean not that its the law.
