The employees at Concord Aspen Dental went out of their way to help me get my new set of dentures after my dog destroyed mine. I was able to get a same day appointment and then was able to have the next two appointments done in the same day which really decreased the amount of time that I had to go without my teeth. After reading some of the reviews for Aspen Dental, I have to admit, I was pretty nervous about going there, but I had an infected, broken tooth that I needed extracted asap. After having the procedure, I can safely say that my experience confirms: people who have bad experiences are much more likely to leave reviews than people who have good experiences. I was so pleased with the service I received, I feel that I owe it to the folks down there to share my thoughts and my absolute satisfaction. All of the people I dealt with, from the receptionists and office manager to the hygienist and dental assistant, were at a minimum courteous and professional, and most of them were friendly and personable (I'm not the type that equates sickly sweetness with good customer service; all I need is courtesy and attentiveness to be satisfied, and my expectations on this front were more than adequately met). Dr. Kumar was fantastic. She did a great job explaining the procedure and possible complications, and did a quick, clean job with the extraction. She smiled warmly when I thanked her afterward; I imagine working for a franchised business can sometimes be thankless and frustrating, but she was terrific; what could easily have become a complicated situation (tooth braking more since it was already broken, nerve being damaged/pulled, etc.) went very well, due to her foresight and care in preparation. Her assistant, Perfecto, was warm, friendly, informative, and it was obvious that he really enjoyed and cared about his work. Maybe I got lucky, but I doubt it. I called Aspen because I have a broken tooth and have been in a lot of pain and haven't established a dentist yet after moving to the area. They scheduled me that day and when I arrived they took me back on time. Everyone was very pleasant and kind. I was given a free first visit exam and complete X-rays. Two dentists evaluated me and then hygienists evaluated me. All were very kind and knowledgeable and included me in the decision making about my care, no pressure. I go back tomorrow morning for a filling and extraction and am confident that it will be a good experience (as good as a dental visit can get anyway lol). read more

I find this dentist office quick to get into, always friendly people and the office manager really worked to help me find financing as I have no insurance. I have gone there 3 times and have like each time. Had a cleaning and also a tooth pulled. Just wish it was closer. The dentist was excellent but the dental hygienist was awful. She started cleaning my teeth and I told her I was feeling pain and she did not stop. I felt like she just wanted to hurry up, clean my teeth and get out of there. I felt like I was being TORTURED by her. In 40 years of going to the dentist, this cleaning was the WORST. She could of cared less that I was in pain. I jumped several times, told her I was in pain several times and she just continued. I will NEVER see her again. read more

Can I give negative stars. They barely speak English when working on mouth. They say you can get your X-rays but will take several weeks to get. Felt like I was at a foreign car store. Here let me sell you more stuff. Came in for tooth ache and left with a car payment for life. read more

Aspen Dental certainly isn't like an independent dentist's office. There's a bit of a wait, the receptionist doesn't know me from Adam and most irritating and inconvenient is the wait AFTER a service to pay a bill or schedule the next appointment. However- when I'm in the chair- the hygienists are personable, do a thorough job and the dentists are efficient. Mind you, I've only had cleanings and fillings/replacements, no major services. Perhaps most important is to request the same hygienist if you like him (Perfecto) or her (Wendy), otherwise it's luck of the draw. read more

I have always dreaded going to the dentist.. My teeth are really getting bad and I am only 24 years old. Whenever I went to get x-rays the workers always made me feel horrible with myself and is why I never went. It was at Aspen dental before too, I am really happy with the changes Concord NH location has made. They are at a new location across from the Steeplegate mall and have a few different staff members and luckily my old dentist is not working there anymore. My new dentists at my appointment the other day were all so great and helpful. Got a great cleaning from Wendy and my new Dentist Rasha? I believe her name is helped me with my treatment plan, they were both great as well as their assistants. I have appointments set and am in the process of getting a nice and healthy mouth! As a dental professional, I frequently contact other offices on behalf of patients. A new patient of ours had asked to retrieve dental x-rays from this location and I was happy to do so. After a failed first attempt, I called the office and after sitting through over 5 minutes of impersonal automated messages, I was able to introduce myself only to be blatantly hung up on. I was in disbelief. Needless to say, I am so happy to be working for a caring, family owned practice for a doctor who genuinely cares about his team and patients. As for our new patient - he is ecstatic to be a part of what he described as "a warm, welcoming, dental family." read more

Horrible... A year after services I get a bill for 98.00, I called and the woman said it was a mistake and I actually had a 25.00 credit... A month later I get another bill for 98.00 and of course had to call again, spoke to the very same lady and low and behold she doesn't remember ever saying that and I have to pay this bill period!! Well, since I have no recourse what so ever I am forced to pay a bill I know for a fact I don't owe... Go here if you want to shoot the dice and hope for the best, but for me NEVER ever again, at least it only cost me 98.00 to see what a horrible place this is (Concord NH... stay away!!!!!) read more

There was immediately something that permeated "used car dealership" from this dentist office. I decided to give them a shot anyway after seeing decent reviews on Google. That was a mistake. I am 28 years old and was told I had quite unhealthy gums for a woman my age. My pockets registered nearly "double" what they should, and without serious treatment I was looking at losing my teeth. This was unbelievable to me, I am in good health, appear to have good teeth- and I thought gums, I was just in for a regular check up. They quickly shuffled me off to discuss "financing options." My treatment would cost $1803.50. BUT "LUCKILY" I qualify for financing @ 26.99% APR!!!!! I have good credit and a credit card with less than 10% APR so that was outrageous to me! I got a second opinion immediately, which confirmed my suspicion that my gums were healthy and my pockets were in normal range. I needed no such expensive treatment only a regular cleaning. I also brought my original x-rays from Aspen with me to the second dentist and learned two were improperly taken not showing the bone, which would have been needed to diagnosis the gum disease I was told I had. What a mess! I feel bad for people that don't get second opinions that go there and sucked into the "financing offers." It is a shame because I saw several elderly people in that office and I'd hate to think they are paying for treatment they may not need. read more

For many years I did not go to the dentist. I kept up good practices--but did not go to get yearly dental exams for at least 10 years. I was afraid. I am claustrophobic. Its hard to even write this but if I tell it, and it helps even one person it was worth it. I finally got brave enough to go after my husband told me about his positive experience with Concord NH Aspen Dental office. I had an initial visit, we made a plan, and even had help with the financing to make the plan work. Dr Hussain & Erica took care of me for the first visits. They were awesome. I explained I need time, may need to stop, but i would fight hard to stay. They kept me relaxed, told me before each step what they were doing. I had NO pain. I can't thank them enough for helping me through the fear. If you need great care, with compassion, this is the place! Thank you Aspen, great job on choosing your staff. Proud to say I'll be back.
