Awful predatory and harassing business. I went here once, they gave me an absurd claim that four of my teeth would need to be replaced due to 'microcracks'. I saw two other dentists who said that is not the case at all. I needed one restorative filling. They then proceeded to book me a follow up appointment with no consultation, and tried to charge me for the missed appointment. YEARS LATER THEY ARE STILL HOUNDING ME TO THIS DAY. Demanding that I pay for this 'missed' appointment. I have called several times and explained I never booked it, and that they are harassing me at this point. Obnoxious and disrespectful behavior, and illegal. If the harassment continues I will be forced to involve a lawyer. I wish I could rate 0 stars. read more

I can't recommend this gentle dental enough! I broke my permanent retainer and found this office near me. I was so worried about money and my teeth moving back and that it would hurt to remove and the whole team was so incredibly kind to me. I worked with Courtney and Dr. Konstantinos. They went above and beyond! I am currently undergoing cancer treatment and they made sure to wear their masks and kept me feeling safe and comfortable the entire time I was there. Thank you again! I would give a zero if I could. went in for first visit, said they needed basic X-rays. They then proceeded to do full mouth X-rays without even consultimg me and those are only covered once every five years. Had my wisdom teeth out just over a year ago (which they were aware orf) and I had all the X-rays they would need had they asked. Called to talk about bill and I was hung up on. I recently brought a friend of mine to have a tooth extracted by the oral surgeon at gentle dental in Concord. When they started the procedure they gave her a Novocaine to still hurt and gave her three more shots of Novocaine tooth still hurt when Novocaine doesn't numb properly usually means as infection. After removing the two they did no scraping or anything for the infection that was under the tooth. By Saturday they called in antibiotic by the next Thursday she was back in screaming in pain they cut sutures and gum to let the infection drain and gave her a prescription for morphine she was in so much pain. Any halfway decent oral surgeon would have known she was still infected with novocaine wasn't working and gone in and scrape the bone to get rid of the infection this poor procedure made this girl go through extreme pain she didn't need beware read more

This place has gone downhill tremendously. The office manager is rude and has zero customer service skills. They must be desperate to have her emplemployees there, as I would have fired her based on my interaction with her, and listening to her talk poorly while ive been in the waiting room. The have completely messed up bill on my insurance. The guy that greats you took my insurance and the office manager said I never provided my new insurance. They tried billing a previous insurance carrier I had. Sent 4 bills to me in all different amounts that were all incorrect. They charged me for an evaluation with Dr Cash, which never occured on my visit( and I told them to hold off my xrays and exams till my next aappointment, which they did but billed me) When I tried to explain to their lovely office manager she fought me staying there's nothing they can do, so fight with my insurance company. Was snotty and ended the conversation by saying 'have a nice day sir' and hung up. How about insurance fraud? I wish Dr Cash would goto a practice that is professional and kind as she is great and is the only reason I went to this poorly run practice after she left my previous practice in Lebanon NH. so i want to start off by saying i hadnt been to a dentist for 10 yrs prior to coming here so i was pretty nervous about how it was going to go but i needed care so i powered through and first appointment was ok but i was told i needed lots of fillings so i booked my first 2. first filling went fine and i had a insurance change and since that happened i called them to see if they took my new insurance and the person on the phone said they did take it so i thought everything was good. i go to my 2nd appointment for a filling and i still had had to pay for the portion insurance didn't cover and went about my day after. i ended up having some pain in my mouth so i called to make a emergency appointment and got in right away. i show up and check in and i had just gotten kicked off my insurance so i already knew i was paying out of pocket and went through with my appointment. after i checked out with reception to pay for it and they also informed me that they didnt take my old insurance and my last filling actually wasnt covered so i had to come up with a extra 300$ on top of the appointment i just had. i was so confused because i had confirmed they did with someone on the phone and my insurance didnt get cancelled till wayyy after the filing but they just told me i had to pay for it so i did and never went back. i honestly didn't really like the care i received by my providers because i do have very bad anxiety being there and i feel like my providers were making me feel bad about being so anxious which just made it even worse. i know people that have had poor experiences here aswell so i would not recommend coming here. read more

I have the most dental anxiety ever so for me to say a place is top notch, I mean it! I went in today for 2 broken teeth and an infection, I was greeted promptly and taken care of amazingly. They knew about my anxiety and never once judged and made me feel comfortable from the time I stepped foot into the front door until the time I left. They even fit me in with the oral surgeon and got my extractions, all within a hour! From the front desk, to upstairs doctor to the oral surgeon and their assistants, AMAZING! No offense but if anyone would rather go get their eyelids scraped with a razor blade then go to the dentist like me then this is your office! I absolutely HATE HATE HATE dentist appointments thanks to a few very bad experiences from my childhood and again in my early 20's that have forever scarred me! I get so anxious about a week before my appointments - I have trouble sleeping, eating, thinking..... Everything!!! I have trouble with anxiety in general which I am prescribed 1/2 mg of anxiety meds which usually help for all other scenario's - EXCEPT THE FREAKING DENTIST! NYQUIL doesn't even keep me asleep the night before an appointment! I even freak out for a cleaning! So if I know Novacane is coming into the picture I'm a friggin basket case! So when I tell you that Dr Cash at Gentle Dentle has earned 5 stars - this Doctor and this office have absolutely positively earned 5 FREAKINGSTARS (okay, well maybe they had a wee bit of help from the Nitris Oxide they have been able to provide me with to calm my teeth shattering nerves)! I am still shocked that I have to actually keep reminding them that I need it and they don't have it waiting on tap for me as soon as I hit the waiting room by now - but it's all good once that fruity flavored gas mask gets strapped onto my face! The only other quam I have is the fact that they actually make me call them back when they call to confirm my appointment - Just to make sure everything is all good! I have to give the office staff kudos and probably a 3.75-4.25 star rating depending on who is checking you out - but the Dental Assistants, the Dental Hygenist and Dr Cash all get A 5 VERY BRIGHTLY GLOWING STAR RECCOMENDATION!!! I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. Unfortunately, I wait way too long before going. I made the appointment knowing with my problems I couldn't wait. Everyone was so nice and made me feel at ease. They just looked at what I would need and then made a plan on how we would get everything done. I left there still a little nervous but felt so much better knowing Dr. Cash was going to do what needed to be done and acknowledged my anxiety. I feel comfortable moving forward with the plan. Would not recommend. Took my 86-year-old mom here. Staff at front desk are unpleasant and make you feel like you're bothering them! There is no privacy glass separating you from staff. While sitting in waiting area it's loud and you can hear everything they are saying whether they are being rude to the person on the phone, talking amongst themselves or worse yet, talking about a client that just left!! Today while my mom was getting work done I tried to pay her bill and make her next appointment only to be told by staff "you have to pay at the end because we don't know how much it will be"! We have her treatment plan and we definitely know how much it's going to be? Just trying to save some time so Mom doesn't have to sit in another waiting room to get checked out! read more

Everyone was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed by the efficiency and prompt service that I received. I was experiencing a painful jaw and my friend Erin who is a hygienist there recommended that I call . I was seen within hours and was scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction the next day . Very experienced and professional practice . All went extreme well. My wife went back to get a partial for her front teeth and was quoted a price. When my wife went and asked about the partial and implant prices. She was told that she was only getting a "Flipper" and she needed to sign an acknowledgement that it can break, you can't eat with it and etc. My wife stated that she wanted a partial like I have and not a flipper. They stated that she needed cleaning and new x-ray before she can get a partial. My wife at this time got furious because she knew I never needed that to get mine and it was recently done by a local Dentist in local office. She then stated that she's leaving and never coming back because all they want is more unnecessary charges. She also told them that she's not made out of money for you to charge me for something I don't need to get a partial and left. I thought Aspen Dental was bad but this place is worse. I have no respect for their office staff and their practice. I have spoken with my dentist and they agree with me. If you guys think this or Aspen Dental is cheaper...they are not. Only thing is they can take you sooner then other real dentist office. Probably because real dentists have full clients that return. I suggest people wanting cheaper dental service to go to Saving People Smiles on Pleasant St. or if you want a good Dentist to go to Capital Area Dental next to Concord Police station. I am a veteran and a retired LEO. I noticed some here had good experiences but in our case we didn't. Not with the dentist but the office manager and staff. So I've neglected my teeth for a long time, mostly cuz effort didn't seem to matter but GD in Concord was the only place willing to let me put off a deep cleaning & deal with work needing to be done as I can afford it. Everyone else upsold me into a corner & having dental anxiety I'd just give up &wait til the pain was too much...but GD of Concord did an amazing job & for the 1st time in years , I can smile without feeling gross. read more

I was not very happy with the service from the techs. They gave me attitude. I had told the secretary that when I made my appointment that I wanted my teeth pulled that day. Well the first tech that came out to get me didn't even get my name right. My name is Candie not Katie. Then when this tech took me back she was like mad at me for even saying I was getting my teeth pulled and wasnt shy about it in any way to her co workers. When dr. Gas came in to pull my teeth he wasnt very cheerful either. The only time they were partly nice was when I was leaving. I will not be referring anyone here. read more

The staff is super friendly, Ha, their hygienist, performed the most thorough cleaning I have ever had in my life, and of course, Dr. Cash is amazing. Terrible experience. Had an infected tooth. Waited an hour in lobby. Waited another 30 minutes in room. Technician xrayed the wrong side of my mouth. Then argued with me about it. Dentist said tooth needs to be extracted but didn't give me any option as to putting in bone for an implant later. i have another tooth which is capped and has a cavity. Dentist said she'd have to take off cap. Really?? I had a capped tooth before that they just drilled through to do a root canal and filled it. They don't know what they are doing. Update 2/Resolution: I talked to the office staff again today and came to a very satisfactory resolution to my issue (and therefore increased my review rating from 2 to 4 stars) and I will be returning to Gentle Dental Concord NH for treatment in the future. Again, while I did not appreciate the attitude during the recent visit, my experiences with them over the last 8 years, especially with Dr. Cash, has typically be outstanding, and I do recommend coming here overall. The office was completely understanding of the situation and understood where I came from (and agreed with me that nothing need be done with the hygienist other than discussion about the incident). When I review something, I do my best to follow through with the resolution so reviewers can understand the totality of the situation. I feel, based on my experiences there over the last 8 years, that while this might occur occasionally (just like every business), it is not typical of this facility, hence why I feel confident that if I come back it is unlikely to happen again. Time from issue to resolution was 4.5 days, and that included a weekend, which is very good in my opinion. ---------- Update 1: I received a speedy reply/discussion from their office, and so far their office representative was very nice, and listened to my side. Up 1 star, to 2. I will provide a final resolution update once this issue is resolved, one way or the other. ---------- Initial review: I have been a customer for approximately 8 years (prior to General Dental taking over). My last experience was extremely disappointing. The technician I saw (someone new who I have never seen) had an attitude practically from the moment I went into the room due to me declining treatment. I ended up leaving immediately after she said, "I'm the provider and I determine what treatments are done." Mind you, this was the technician, and not the dentist (Dr. Cash, who is great). And as the patient/customer, I have the right to refuse any treatment recommended. I did not appreciate the attitude the technician/hygienist gave me, while also being rude and argumentative (I consider arguing for ~5 minutes as rude) during the entire short time there (her attitude made me aggravated, hence why I left instead of continue to argue).
