Went in to have a tooth removed and a cleaning. The oral surgeon who removed my tooth was as very rough, left in part of my root canal. While removing tooth he pinched my lip so bad it has a permanent blood blister. Wouldnt stop when I indicated it hurt. Push you to get work you really don't need. I called Aspen Dental with some severe tooth pain after not having gone to the dentist for years. Seeing that Aspen Dental was covered by my insurance and their office hours, I thought this would be a good place to go. The receptionist was kind when I arrived, but the good comments stop there. I had to wait an extra 45 minutes to have my X-rays done (I was already 15 minutes early) and the ladies who did them were not kind or sensitive to the fact that I was in there for severe tooth pain. The dentist did not touch any part of my mouth when assessing next steps. When sitting with the office manager she stated the dentist said I needed 3 root canals (I was told maybe 1 by the dentist) based on the XRay and that the endodontist they worked with would not let me break up those procedures and it would be an $8,000 ticket. I was then charged $61 to book an appointment with their endodontist (that I ended up not going to because I went elsewhere and got a second opinion). They also told me I would need to pay an extra $300 on my next cleaning to deal with some slight gingivitis that the dentist I got a second opinion from this week said would not even help with the issue. I'm not one to leave negative comments, but care here is atrocious. read more

My dad needed dentures and couldn't travel as far so we picked Crawfordsville Aspen. We all wish after all he'd been through we went elsewhere so he'd have a nice set. The many many visits were crazy to finally get them,the price for the workmanship terrible. His old ones from another place lasted probably 20 some years...this new pair he barely puts in and lost front tooth. Treatment plan for 5 extractions, several fillings to follow up with bridge. 90 year old patient of over $2100 fir this acceped care. pulled four teeth, office closed with sign on the door on next application, set up a mandatory cleaning ( not included on detailed treatment plan) not one word about the cleaning cost and charged her over $1600 saying it was a periodontal cleaning. It took under one hour and periodontal cleanings take 45-60 minutes per quadrant, there are four quadrants. she went in still having a $1700 credit and tried to say she owed over $700. Daughter questioned and declined the extra electric toothbrush, mouthwash, cancer screen and whatever else in their package. They are over priced unethical thieves. Update: told cleaning appointment would be no charge. Advised to refund as patient would not be returning. Two weeks later checked with office and refund has not been processed and advised it may be 4-6 weeks. read more

I went in today for my regular six month cleaning and check up I might as well stayed home the hygienist barely cleaned my teeth did not floss them and seem to be more interested in the TV I had to remind her to get the dentist so she could check my teeth which I might as well have left all the dentist did was count my teeth feel my neck and jaws said I will see you in six months ....... I was there for less than 30 minutes !!! read more

I'm in the process of enrolling for insurance. I called to find out which dental insurance I should enroll in. I was met on the phone by a very rude and condescending individual whom refused to attempt to assist me. I was never disrespectful to her but she had enough disrespect for the both of us. Without any provocation or warning she hung up on me. I just want to know if they accepted any Medicare supplement plans. I don't know why that was so hard. If I could give no stars I would.I went in for cavities to be filled and they were molars.The Dentist told the assistant " I didn't know we were going to have fight that tongue so much " I had apologized before he said that about my tongue not being as cooperative.The dentist even missed an inside lingual cavity on that same molar he was working on.I received a tongue ulcer from the assistant holding my tongue back out of the way on and off through the procedure.I have pain now in those two molars with hot and cold things where I never had before.They both had silver fillings and this dentist at Aspen was removing the silver filling and replacing it with tooth colored fillings.They had cavities around the base of the molars and was taking care of that but missed the inside of one of the molars.I missed a teeth whitening and they said they didn't have anything until September and even then didn't know when and for me to call the Avon office to reschedule a whitening.I called and the lady put me on hold them got back on and said they didn't have anything.So because I missed my first whitening in Cville they wouldn't get me in for a reschedule.The Avon office told me I had periodontal disease and get back to Cville office and the dentist said no there's inflammation but no periodontal disease.What a joke.They're happy to take your money though.If you're desperate maybe as a last resort but if I had to do it over I would've went to one of our local private dentist.I'll insert a pic of my tongue that got bashed around and hurt for two weeks after I left the Aspen office in Cville. read more

Would not even try to accommodate me when my dentures broke and made me have an appt to get x-rays and let a dentist look at my gums when I told them there was no issues and just needed my dentures repaired and could come back later to do everything else and they refused to even look at the dentures period. Nothing like the building where I initially went they actually cared and took care of people and understood that sometimes you have to accommodate the patient to actually be able to help them out as some of us have no flexibility in our day to day schedule due to the jobs we hold. read more

Aspen Dental is one of the best dentists I've been to. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! They work with you on absolutely anything; whether its money, times you're available, and how you want them to take care of you're teeth! The doctors are the best around. I have tmj and they know i need breaks if I have to keep my mouth wide open for a while. They are very good at making sure I'm comfortable and feeling great! They take their time to make sure everything inside your mouth is perfect! I couldn't even dream of better! The beautiful interior is just an added bonus! read more
