Despite too many negative reviews, I decided to stop by the Aspen Dental office in Evans, GA to schedule an appointment. Rather than scheduling an appointment for me, the young woman at the front desk handed me a card with a number to call to make an appointment. I wouldn't have taken the time to go there if their website hadn't specifically said that going to the local office wasn't an option. Appears to me that the Evans office is out of touch. read more

Absolutely unacceptable! I called a couple weeks ago to make this appointment and specifically said I was pregnant and did NOT want x-rays but I needed to get a cleaning. We just moved to the area so I would be a new patient. I asked if this would be a problem and she said it would not. Today I go in for my 10am appointment at 950. I didn't get checked in until 1010 in which although I had filled out everything online as they requested, she said she would have to verify my insurance and I had more paperwork to fill out. I filled everything out and provided it back to her. At 1024 she called me up and asked if I was pregnant. I said I was. She asked for my release from my OB for x-rays and I stated I do not want x-rays, I simply need a cleaning. I just got x-rays less than a year ago, insurance only covers them once a year anyway so why is this an issue? She informed me they could not do a cleaning without x-rays and I told her again I would not consent to x-rays while pregnant. I told her I spoke to someone who said this would not be a problem, and her only response was it must have been the call center. Poor customer service experience and poor patient care. read more

Staff seem pretty good place was very clean I was diagnosed with tooth sensitivity and a month later on the sensitive tooth I bit down on a potato chip it went down and I found out I had a cracked tooth once I pulled the chip out the sensitivity was gone no one could see it in the x-rays because they didn't look at regular x-rays they looked on a TV screen with poor quality at least I hope that's the reason that they didn't see it ​ but back when they touched the side corner of that tooth it gave me pain but once it came out the corner of the tooth which had splintered now there is no more pain in that area wish I could have gotten my money back for that visit read more

I had heard countless horror stories about Aspen Dental--not necessarily this location, but the company as a whole and other offices in the surrounding area. By the time I came across these stories, I had already attended my first appointment and paid for my treatment plan. Despite my initial concerns, I have experienced nothing but positive outcomes here. Over the past month and a half, I've had multiple appointments to address all the dental work I needed. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite how busy they are, they made an effort to remember me by name--something most dental offices I've visited in the past did not do. Today marked my final appointment, where I had two extractions and a crown placed. (The crown was for a tooth another dental office in the area had performed a root canal on but failed to advise me about or schedule follow-up treatment.) Aspen Dental took over from there and did a phenomenal job. Both Dr. Wang/Wong and the oral surgeon Dr. Patel were quick and efficient--I was in and out within 35-40 minutes. Because of the excellent care and kindness I've received, I referred my boyfriend to this location, as well as his sister. (His sister, I should note, had previously been told by the Wrightsboro Road location that she would feel everything during her treatment, which was unsettling.) My boyfriend had been to other dentists who only provided two expensive treatment options for fixing a single issue he needed addressed. Aspen Dental, on the other hand, offered more than just two options--these were affordable and came with flexible payment plans tailored to our budget. In fact, the cost of his entire treatment plan--including some dental hygiene products--was less than what the original dentist wanted to charge for fixing a single issue. Aspen also allowed us to apply for different payment plans, some of which could help build credit while others didn't report to credit at all. All in all, both my boyfriend and I have had nothing but great experiences at this location. We appreciate the staff's professionalism and their ability to build genuine rapport with us. We'll definitely continue coming back here. And to Ms. Lakeisha, we truly appreciate your kindness and for ensuring we fully understood everything about our treatment plans. Thank you for working with us when we needed to reschedule appointments or fit in earlier due to our hectic schedules. I do not recommend Aspen Dental. Even though you have an appointment. There's a long wait for cleaning and check up.

Have no idea how anyone actually receives care. Took my parent for an initial exam and X-rays for dentures. Spent 3 hours - X-ray tech was inept - caused great pain during the X-ray. Tech was angry that X-rays were painful. Dr B shared how much bone loss and periodontal disease was present. This was shocking information considering no other dentist has ever mentioned bone loss or periodontal disease. Quoted $12,000 for work. Office was closing for a lunch event so financial discussion was short. Office clerk had never heard of some of the lending options shared and was hurrying through the process. No time for patient to ask questions. Office was locked due to lunch and we were rushed out. When we called back to begin the process- no answer. Answering machine with no return calls. Finally called the call center - they couldn't get in touch with office. Called the Aspen Dental oral surgeon - same issue - no calls returned. Evidently this office has no desire to actually perform dental work. Appalled at the entire process. read more

I'm a reviews girl, so I did my research and finally decided on Aspen Dental. I'm SO glad I did! The staff is friendly and attentive. And though I had an appointment, they also accept walk-ins. There was a deal going on where X-rays & exams were free for new patients (yes!). Also had a consultation with the finance dept who helped me make a plan to address my needs and payment for them. Scheduled my first appointment with Aspen dental in Evans, Georgia online for a cleaning, when checked-in the office I explained I was there for annual cleaning, and when the hygiene assistant asked why I was there during my x-rays I explained I was there for a cleaning. However, after over a 30 minute wait (1.5 hours in the office) in the chair the hygienist came in stating that she did not have time to clean my teeth today and wouldn't be. I advised her that I made the appointment to get my teeth cleaned and noone throughout the process said or indicated that I would not get my teeth cleaned at this appointment and she said she wasn't sure why they told me that because she didn't have time to do my cleaning today and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. After reading the reviews, I scheduled this appointment 3 weeks ago since I had to go home on leave for a couple days. The most frustrating thing about this situation is that I paid $250 to change my flight to have my teeth cleaned before I came back to my military installation since Aspen Dental canceled my appointment Friday due to the weather. I'm very disappointed in their services and will not be using their services in the future, especially after they said it I would owe over $400 on a over $900 cleaning fee after my insurance. This nice fella that works with me was recommended to drive over an hour one way to see your Dentist. Twice now he has been turned away AT HIS APPOINTMENT TIME, due to your lack of management in the front admin area. If an appointment is made, there should be no reason to confirm an appointment. Therefor due to these "rules" that are not expressed during the time of making the appointment, he has drove twice without being seen. The Staff is very friendly and professional, but their treatment plan for my very first visit is questionable. I just had an exam and cleaning from the VA Denied Clinic in February 2019, now in July, I'm told that I have an infection, server bone lost requiring a $2000.00 plus treatment. I went back to the VA the very next day with the plan and a the question, "How could you miss all of this?" The VA set me up for a second exam and review and found one issue. I first want to start of by saying the office staff is amazing! They helped me so much! But the little woman dentist they have is AWFUL! I have a really bad broken tooth so I went to them. I got X-rays done and they looked at the tooth and told me it was to infected to pull it on that day so she gave me an antibiotic and d as one ibuprofen. The next week I went back to get it pulled my anxiety got out of hand because 1 it's the dentist and dentist scary me and 2 the dentist herself was talking how she didn't have the right tools so she had to make due. Well she didn't pull it. She gave me some medicine to help me calm down and told me to come back that Monday. Well I went! I was super chill because of the medication she gave me and she gave me the numb shot in my mouth and started trying to get it out... well it hurt really really bad so I told her and she told me that she gave me enough numb medicine to pull my whole mouth .... So she pulled and I heard a root pop so I jumped ... I honestly didn't mean it.... Well she then took her gloves and said she was done... I started crying because I want this tooth out but she just wasn't going to do it. It was close to 5pm when I got out the chair to go talk to my mother and the office manger about what to do next. As we are starting there my mom wanted to talk to the dentist herself.... Well the office manager went to go find her and she had left! LEFT THE BUILDING! The office manager called her and asked her wanted she wanted me to and I could hear her from the other side of desk screaming... now I do have an appointment with the oral surgeon at the other office and I hope the office staff is just as sweet and nice. I really hope the oral surgeon is a lot nicer then that dentist herself. She had no bed side manner at all. I am going to give this place a two star just because the office staff was incredible! If I could rate the dentist herself she would get a -10000. Now I am in pain again because she did break the tooth more and bruised it! read more

Went in for a cleaning and examination and was told i needed a gum cleaning@? They said it would cost over $2000 for the "so called" gum cleaning. After reading the reviews, i see im not the only person they have tried to sell this BS to. I am 55yrs old and have been getting my teeth cleaned on a regular basis. First appointment (consultation) was nothing more than a sales pitch for over $1700 of gum work which included a $135 toothbrush and $32 toothpaste! They refused to clean my teeth until I agreed to have the work done! Have been going to the dentist every six months regularly my whole life and have NEVER been told that I needed scaling. They are not upfront with billing for services and products. I was told to use a toothpaste for sensitivity by the hygienist instead of the dentist examining my teeth after my cleaning. I explained that hot, cold, nor air was my issue. After having paid for my cleaning upfront, I began receiving a bill for the toothpaste that has not resolved my issue.
