I was highly dissatisfied with Dr. Scott's bedside manner. I went to the consultation ($90) for literally a 1 min evaluation for wisdom teeth extraction. I spent more time with the finance clerk. The day of my surgery, he was late returning from lunch. I was extremely nervous as I waited because I have never been put to sleep for a procedure before...my heart rate was through the roof. The nurse somewhat calmed my nerves by explaining the things she was doing to prep for the procedure. However, when he came in, he greeted me with a generic "hey" and immediately went to the side counter in the room and began talking to the nurse. After a few seconds, she came up to me and administered something (I know now it was anesthesia) in the IV without warning me and then returned to talk to him at the counter. I was later (40min) waken up by a different person with a bloody gauze hanging out my mouth and still disoriented. I never saw Dr. Scott or the nurse again. I was asked to walk down a hall to my waiting ride. I stumbled several times with little support and no wheelchair. I was given a sticky note size paper with very vague instructions. I had several questions that I just chose to google myself. The lack of care, support and empathy was overwhelming... I cried on my 35 min ride home. I felt like I was just an item to scratch off his to-do list for that day. My actual dentist is the complete opposite, and I wish he would have referred my surgery with someone else. read more

We came here for a follow-up service after my husband's multiple teeth extraction in preparation for implants. This is our second time doing this and by far probably the most extensive. All the staff were very friendly, very understanding and got us through all the important steps of requiring implants and surgery. Implants are a multiple step surgery depending on what your level of requirements are, and this office is particular in understanding everyone's individual needs. Highly highly recommend! read more

They were horribly unsympathetic to health issues that made fasting for the anesthetic sedation for 6 hours until we'll after lunch nearly impossible, and that was just the start of the problem. When I arrived, they were nearly 20 minutes late for the consult, which would've meant more time in the am to eat before I had to fast instead of getting up at 5 am to choke down food. The staff didn't want to answer any of my questions at the consult, promising to answer them when I woke up, and they had us make a deposit instead of billing us for the total once insurance fclaims were file, which I was not told about ahead. It was not a small deposit. After surgery for the wisdom tooth removal, they handed off a sheet of generic instructions and packed me into the car with my husband while I was still too out of it to ask questions. They didn't answer any questions about how to eat and care for myself after the double extraction due to dietary restrictions that make eating the usual recovery foods like eggs and beans for protein not an option. Since the surgery, I am now 8 days out and still in massive pain, pain that is new since the first three days of recovery, which were meant to be the worst. My dentist wanted me to see the surgeon for concerns of infection or drysocket. The surgeon's office insists it's normal and just said to use the antibacterial prescription mouthwash my dentist gave me pre procedure for a few days to see if it'll fix it. If not, all they're going to do is prescribe antibiotics without seeing me to confirm if they are the actual solution or if I have a dry socket and despite being told that antibiotics make me very sick. Needless to say, I do not recommend going here. They have not offered much support and seem to be doing whatever they can to avoid any follow up visit due to the persistent pain that has worsened instead of improving. You really can't go wrong with this treatment center. Polite, understanding, so smart and knowledgeable, and with the sedation options they offer you can say goodbye to all the fear of visiting the dentist. I literally woke up in the recovery room and thought they hadn't done the procedure yet, but they had! There is nothing that I would change about their operation. Got my wisdom teeth pulled here yesterday. Got scheduled exactly when I wanted to, everyone was extremely nice and pleasant, they worked with me and explained everything and made sure I understood the procedure. My doctor was Dr. Huffman, this man must know how to pull wisdom teeth because I have not been in any pain whatsoever. It is day 2 and I am able to carefully eat almost anything I want. Amazing place I would give them 10 stars if I could read more

I was referred to Dr. Trotter from my dentist Dr. Wingard for impacted wisdom tooth extraction. The lobby was spacious, nicely decorated and televisions on various stations. The consultation was awesome and Dr. Trotter explained exactly what I should expect through the procedure. I was then sent to speak with the billing specialist regarding what would and would not be covered. I never felt duped or confused about their fees or practices. What a refresher! I was given a courtesy call the day prior to remind me to not eat or drink 6 hours before the surgery. The day of I was extremely nervous - so much so my blood pressure shot up to 156/76. After speaking with the nurse and reassuring me that it would not be a very painful procedure and the outcome would benefit me in the long run, I was fine. She continued to speak to me while smoothly inserting my IV and Dr. Trotter telling me he was confident this would be smooth then honestly thats all I remember! After an hour and a half, I was in recovery and wondering if the procedure was really over because I wasnt in pain. Even after going the pharmacy and grocery shopping for soft foods, I was sore but not hurt. It has been almost 48 hours and I have been on schedule with my antibiotics, nausea and pain meds with no complications. I highly recommend Dr. Trotter! read more
