They were absolutely terrible towards me-and on top of that I have an infected tooth so I am in pain-they were rude and condescending-it's a shame that they treat patients like this because my dadd office treated people like family. read more

Was in there for a surgical procedure, first off they did not numb, before putting the needles in his mouth as they said they would. The doctor also stated that he would call in a prescription as they put stitches in , so go to the pharmacy. No prescription was called in. Called the office to confirm and the lady says normally we don't give prescription for one tooth with stitches in mouth and you're not gonna give any medication! The lady was not very friendly. Look...getting all your teeth pulled is traumatic. It will color your experience with (ANY) dental office. In saying that, the process is inconvenient and takes a long time to work out. Each time I visited for an adjustment to dentures, I was greeted very professionally and it was helpful. Few will go through this experience with prior experience, so expect to be "off your game" for awhile. It is very difficult to go about your life with dentures when your gums are still swollen and healing. I would say that my only complaint was that I was not prepared for any of it, and had to "wing it" which caused some distress. I'm Pro Aspen Team! Do not go there! I learned the hard way when they wouldn't listen to me and suggested I was overreacting. I had x-rays because of tooth pain, which showed a bad sinus infection. They suggested I speak to my doctor about it. When I mentioned that my bite was off and asked about a tooth with a cap, the dentist looked at the x-ray and said, "Yep, it's still on there," then suggested I speak to my doctor about anxiety medication! I was at a loss for words. Later that night, my cap came off my tooth, and I had to go to another dentist to have it re-cemented. From Dr. LOESCHERS substandard scheduler this past thurs night , then Friday morning who schedules with a dentist that turns out to be owner Dr. Loescher , yet doesn't know where he is that day or even who he is....to even worse Coliseum Aspen dental office manager Lauren , who knowingly put me in medical danger of getting an abcess who with rudeness and crudeness and unprofessionalism and knowingly canceled my appointment because she didn't appreciate how I could be upset with the "Bait and Switch" tactics of the price. I got quote $125-150 for an extraction only to be called that morning early and told make sure I bring $500+ and couldn't understand why I would be upset. While I didn't even raise my voice, Lauren showed no empathy for my situation and said I don't like how you are talking to me so I am canceling your appt and hung up on me. I wasn't even rude! I did show up 30 min later only to find my appt absolutely canceled and was told my appt with Dr. Loescher wouldn't have happened anyways because he was wasn't even in that particular office that day. THEN LAUREN COMES OUT AND SMIRKS AS FRONT COUNTER LADY TELLS ME MY APPT WAS CANCELLED. LAUREN THEN SAID GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMEONE TO FIX IT OVER THE WEEKEND AND ENJOY THE PAIN. We were in for a new patient appointment. Appointment was at 8 right when doors opened. Waited until 8:35 to be called because there was another new patient appointment that was scheduled at the same time. We finally get back and are told we have to take new x-rays even though we had x-rays that were less than 48 hours old sent to the office. My wife had to remove all of her jewelry because "our surgeon is really picky". We were put in a room and I'm writing this review at 9:00am and we still haven't been seen. The surgeon could be a angel sent from god himself and I still wouldn't give above 2 stars. Terrible, Terrible, TERRIBLE experience. Would definitely not recommend. read more

Went in 3 weeks ago was told repairing my bottom denture was not a problem for 160 dollars, 20 day's later denture broke. Was told today that the denture was old and not worth fixing and that they would be glad to sell me new denture's and if I didn't want that, they would fix my denture again for another 160 dollars. This place is just awful in every imaginable way. I went to receive new dentures. My old ones had a bite issue. They insisted on using my old dentures for molds for my new dentures rather than taking directly from my mouth. The dentures I received, did not fit well at all, and I was given a overbite with teeth that jetted out in the front. I explained my dissatisfaction, and they just blew it off. I saw the dentist for 30 seconds on my very first visit. I went back seven times for adjustments and they kept telling me that my dentures were fine. I hated them but can't afford new ones. I am now three years in and my front teeth have developed ridges and stains even though I purchased the highest quality with a seven year warranty. I called to have them professionally cleaned and they said I could not do so without having a full exam because my dentures may not be fitting as well. I explained that they never fit, and that I would never again see their dentist, but I expected to be able to have them clean, and they refused without me receiving a full exam from them at my cost. Trust me this place is the biggest scam I've ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and go to a private dentist I promise you it's cheaper in the long run. They are receiving one star only because it wouldn't let me post this without selecting at least one star. read more

Had wisdom teeth removed, was not prescribed adequate medication for the pain relief. After taking the medication and still being in immense pain, I called and asked about it. Was told that the doctor was out at lunch, and that I would get a call back when he returned. Was never called back, so I called and asked. I was then told that the doctor said that would be sufficient, and would not make any changes in prescription. After I was upset and said that I guess I'll have to spend the week in pain, I was hung up on. read more

UPDATE 3/25/2020: A day after posting this review, a member of the Aspen Dental Patient Satisfaction Team contacted me to advise that my bill was adjusted to reflect the insurance negotiated rate for my procedure. As I had already paid that portion of the received bill, my balance is now zero. Thank you, Aspen Dental, for taking this action to ensure my satisfaction. BEWARE OF THEIR INSURANCE ESTIMATES. It is my belief that the Coliseum Office staff either does not put much effort into determining what your insurance will actually cover or they don't confirm at all in an effort to get your business. After repeating work already performed by a referring dentist, they quote 'your cost' after insurance for the work you actually went there to get and want your "patient responsibility" payment in full before scheduling the procedure(s). At this point, you have no opportunity to confirm what they "researched" with your insurance company and blindly pay assuming they did an accurate investigation. Only after you get an unexpected bill from Aspen do you realize your insurance did not cover one of the procedure codes they "estimated" it would. Aspen then expects you to pay their full price "fee" ($892.00) rather than the insurance negotiated amount ($366.00) which they expected to receive when accepting you as a patient. I called the office requesting that my bill be adjusted to reflect the insurance negotiated rate vice the full rate thinking I was being fair about the situation...I would pay more than I was quoted even though they made the error due to improper (or lack of) research. Instead, I was told the surgeon would not allow that, as he is not an Aspen employee, and I must pay the full rate. BE SURE TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY BEFORE PAYING ASPEN ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE OF A PROCDURE. I gave two stars because the dental work was done correctly. read more

Dentist did not swab my gums before injecting novacaine. Did not give or offer nitrous oxide (I have an anxiety disorder). Was condescending in the way he talked to me. We have had nothing but horrible experiences with Aspen Dental. My 18-year-old daughter had to get her for wisdom teeth extracted. The x-rays were sent to Aspen and we scheduled to have them extracted. Went to the appointment they said oh no we need to do x-rays again and schedule the extraction. They extracted three but we had to schedule out of town because the surgeon would not be at our location for another month. After they were extracted she went to a follow up appointment and we scheduled to have her last one extracted. She fasted for 12 hours went to the appointment and were told it would not be extracted that day there was no time in the schedule for the doctor to extract it that day. Had to reschedule again a month later. Went this morning To have the last tooth extracted and they did not even put her under. They said whoever scheduled it did not have her scheduled to have her put under. She was scared to death, the nurse and doctor were not friendly and when she was done was not giving any instructions or anything. We unfortunately had to go to this facility to Insurance. Thisis not professional and do not recommend it!!! read more

Got new insurance. Aspen was in the directory. Went to the appointment and it took 3 hours for them to verify that the insurance didn't cover the kind of "extra cleaning" they thought was necessary. They wanted $430 over what insurance paid. Made a new appointment with Georgetown Dental. Got teeth cleaned. Everything was covered. Wish we had the time back that Aspen Dental wasted. This is the worst dental place I have ever seen. I have never had a single cavity and they try and tell me that I need 2700$ worth of dental treatment. I disagreed and they refused to clean my teeth. Came back to work and it happened to another person in my office. I found that the refusal to clean my teeth must be something that they always do. I would not suggest anyone go here. They just want your money and dont care about patient care. If you need some place to go try allcare dental. I went in for a cleaning and that never happened. Instead they told me I needed tons of work done, I've since gotten a second opinion and was told most was of the work they recommended is not needed. They pushed teeth whitening left and right even though I stated many times I was not interested. They wanted to pull my wisdom teeth even though nothing is wrong with them and they are causing no issues at all. The one tooth I had concerns about they put off and said it was nothing really to worry about right now, however my second opinion said that should be the priority and fixed immediately. They want you to pay for all work up front, before the appointments, and before they start any work. I have had a lot of dental work done and Aspen by far was the worst. I went there probably a total of 10 times and they fitted a crown wrong which caused me major tooth pain for about a month at least. They finally put the correct crown on and I am going to have to have it redone again because the tooth needed a root canal. They just don't seem to know what they're doing and seem more like a sales office. Only one person there seemed to be OK and that was one of the dental assistant girls. read more

I've been a patient a little less than a year, but have had at least four visits in that time. Each time, the experience from front office to back in the treatment area was well done. The only minor negative is that they are a very busy practice with techs having to multi-task. The visit can be extended a bit as a result. Otherwise lovely people. read more

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!!!! After having the hygenist practically rip my back teeth out, this place had the nerve to charge me 10x the amount that was quoted to me. When I took my concerns to the management, they were completely unhelpful and condescending. I would never recommend this place to anyone, even my ex-husband :) I told them that I would not be using my now expired dental insurance, but paying for these services with a flexible spending account. They billed the old insurance company at inflated rates. Some of the ridiculousness included a charge of $55 for the dentist to look in my mouth for 3 minutes. Could not give 5 stars because I am not a fan of ANY dentist. That being said, my visits at the Coliseum Blvd. office were excellent. After being with the same dentist for over 30 years, he retired and I needed to find a new dentist because I was having problems with a tooth and it was time to plan for dentures. Honestly, I chose this office because of the Yellow Pages ad - took a big chance. I was able to get an appointment right away - a wonderful surprise. My first visit was impressive - this was important to me. The office atmosphere was quiet and calming; Kendra (receptionist) was professional and attentive - excellent customer service; Patty (took x-rays and assisted) was professional and very efficient - explained things as we went along and answered my questions-also very personable, helped me stay as relaxed as possible; Shantell (Business Office) discussed with me everything I needed to know about costs and the billing options - is helping me plan for dentures next year - again, was very professional, knowledgable and personable - excellent service; Dr. Smith - what a nice surprise - explained everything to me, presented info I needed now and for next year - really seemed to listen to me and took my input seriously - was very reassuring - provided excellent dental service (extraction) that was also gentle, confident, honest and efficient. Costs were very reasonable as well. I feel confident that I have found my new "dental home" - a process I feared would be difficult at best. A big THANX to the staff - let's just keep it rolling. (By the way - love the flat screen at the chair - a much better way to spend wait time - much more relaxing.) read more

It is not free they will bill you, Now my first appointment was free four years ago on Illinois road in FW.I I was also told If it was more than 2 yrs. your considered new patient and would not be charged. they say you have to be examined before they ever give you a price. they are scamming you to get you financed thru care credit. The want to finance you thru Care Credit. who Is GEMB. Bank. High Interest. Never send money order. They will say not received. I mailed it in there envelope there letter head. went thru process get copy your money order. They cashed IT. no matter what you do they say it never happened. was charged over $120 sum in fees late fees the works. They will rip you off. GEMB and care credit are thieves..
