Don't walk, run away from this place. If I could give zero stars I would. My husband had surgery, needed the oral surgeon and they didn't code their paperwork right and the next day we realized they didn't do the important part of his treatment plan. The treatment by Carlee the front office receptionist was the worst part of the experience. They don't admit any wrong doing and then treat you like you were the problem. Wish I could give them a ZERO star. Follow up, I talked to both phone numbmers on their bill, both are in New York. Both said to talk to the local office. I called the local office phone number, pressed 2 as instructed, then the person in Syracuse answered????? So finally got to a recording that I could leave a message to the local office. Finally someone from the local office called me. Eexpalined that I got the full panoramic and that is only covered by insuraqnce every 5 years. I told them I had a conversation with the hygenist I saw and said I just wanted a basic cleaning as this was my first visit. She said they always did the full panoramic for new patients, but I explained that I did not want anything my insurance didn't cover. She did it and assumed me as a new paitent that it would be covered. You know the rest of the story, I got a bill for the panoramic that my insurance did not cover. So in my conversation with a real person I was told I had to pay it even though their hygienist said it would be free for new patients. It's just a huge conglomerate that is a money-making machine. Went in 2019 for a simple extraction. Dr sharks refused to extract my tooth told me he was gonna do a root canal. $1800 later. I went back a year later because it abcessed and then again the year after that. During my root canal he went out for a smoke break and then put his cigarette fingers in my mouth. I will never go back to him again he is the absolute worst. And also my cap fell off so now my root canal is open. read more

I do not recommend Apsen Dental in Hot Springs. I wait almost a year to get my bottom plate, and the reason being was to let the screws set up in my mouth. Come to find out, I didn't have any screws in my mouth. And no one could tell me why because the doctor was no longer there. I was told he put the screws in. I was told the screws needed to set at least 4 months, but the longer the better. But I tried to get them in September, which would have been 4 months, but I was told they really wanted me to wait the full 6. So that would have been November. I didn't get back in till December, and that is when I was told I had no screws in my gums. So my bottom teeth do not stay in. I can not eat. Two bites, and they are out. The dentist originally told me because of my gum lost in the back. If I didn't get 2 screws up front, they would never stay in. He was dead right on that part. So I have a bottom plate that looks good but is worthless for eating. Of course no one works there that was in the room that morning so I have no proof of what he told me and when I told my side I don't think anyone I was talking to believed me. But anyway you look at it. I got screwed. And not with the screws I needed. They said they could send me to someone in Little Rock to get screws for 10,000 more dollars. This place needs a good review. I am in the process of needing a lot of dental work. I have a crippling fear of the dentist. My first appointment was 7/28, I was not a huge fan of the dentist I saw. It wasn't the original dentist I saw. I was sedated with Halcion. My temp crown popped off about two hours later, I understand this can happen but it had me uneasy. I went in for my second appointment today 7/29 and told them my concerns. I said I didn't want the same dentist working on me. He didn't want me taking the second pill prescribed and I was terrified. I had a full blown anxiety attack. I believe the girl who sat with me while I had my meltdown was Lauren. Her and another tech sat me outside of the procedure room, got me water, and let me relax. They were amazing. They realized that when I was scheduled my appointments were done in a way that I couldn't have my work done how they were scheduled, I don't live in the area and I'm only here until September. They fixed my appointments, got me the doctor I was originally expecting to have, and everything went amazing. I was weary of coming back for more work but today showed me that one bad apple cannot spoil the whole bunch. Thank you so much to the amazing staff who helped keep me calm and let me get to a comfortable point of sedation. read more

Worst place, ever!!! Save your money and RUN! Every little thing they do during the checkup is an extra charge. Then you get to meet a dentist that seems knowledgeable...BUT, at your REAL appointment, a "bait and switch" occurs. You're given a "dentist" with less personality and/or bedside manner than a rock. In my experience, I scheduled an appointment to replace a noticeable, old filling. After the dental procedure was allegedly done, I discovered that another tooth entirely had been filled! When brought to their attention, I was told they would fill the intended one, free of charge. I sat through the shortest filling time I've ever experienced, only to realize that it looks EXACTLY the same as before they supposedly refilled it!!! I will never, ever go to those dishonest, incompetent crooks again!! read more

This place is all about how much they can swindle you for. You could go to a dentist called "Mafia Mike's Costly Floss" and probably get better prices and integrity. I chipped a tooth, explained that I just needed a quick fill. They claim a free initial exam (which comes with like 20 xrays the nurse pointed not at my jaw but direct frontal lobe. Dear God my cognitive processes are in the hands of these people). So at the initial exam they poke your teeth. I kept asking about the chip and they wanted to discuss everything but. At the end of the visit they asked for $1500!!! I want to fix the chip, but these people refuse until I first get a $1300 cleaning! I've never had a cavity in my life and have no dental complaints besides the chip. This place is a scam and should be ashamed of themselves treating people this way! A dental chain run out of New York in Hot Springs, Ar. Really??? One dentist, multiple visits as my temporary crown kept falling off. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing....when my permanent crown came back, I went in as scheduled and the dentist was out of town! They had brought in a traveling replacement who had the personality of a rock and was rough to boot! The crown didn't fit. By that time, I was so pissed, I told them to glue it on, and not wait for the other dentist to come back so she could do it. All this wonderful service for $700+. Go there at your own risk. Do what I should have done...ask your friends for a recommendation and don't try to save money. read more
