From the moment I walked in, the office manager, Dave, was friendly, welcoming, and truly made me feel comfortable--something I've never experienced with owners or managers in large corporate settings. He set the bar extremely high. Dr. Tyler and Kay were great throughout my visit--both very knowledgeable, patient, and intentional about making sure I fully understood what was going on. Dave checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was doing well, which you almost never see in a setting like this, but it genuinely matters. I visited here previously about 2 months ago, received an exam, and was told I needed a procedure done. I advised them I'd need additional time to have the procedure done. Today I went in to my scheduled appt and was told I'd have to pay a ridiculous amount due to my insurance being exhausted which is false. I was also told that I would have to get X-rays and an exam done again because there was a new provider. I was previously seen by Dr. Singh. So because this company can't keep providers, I have to pay out of pocket for the exact thing they did on my last visit. This is ridiculous. It's literally always something with this place. The faculty is very nice and extremely clean and the staff is friendly. However, this feels like the place where baby dentists go to grow up. Every appointment takes forever, they don't return calls related to treatment concerns, and the staff seems very green in general. While the pricing seems good, you really roll the dice with whether or not they'll fix it the first time, or if you'll be stuck with 2-3 visits (lasting a minimum of 2hrs each) for them to fix a basic issue. If you call to have a known issue fixed they will schedule you an exam just to chat about the work, even though they already have xrays, the dentists knows about the issue, and you've already discussed treatment. I've also never had an appointment that wasn't at least 30 mins late taking me back, and I always come very early just to avoid this. It's not unusual to wait 30 mins in the lobby, 30-45 mins in the chair, and only spend 4-5 minutes with the dentist talking about a treatment plan, which never plans out more than one procedure at a time. read more

The Kernersville office does not have theor. My appointment was canceled after verbal confirmation over the phone. I even let them know confirmation online was a broken link. But of course I was to blame. Appointment cancelled and now I'm waiting in pain for another appointment elsewhere. Im not trusting them in my mouth when they can't properly manage their customers. Made an appointment online due to a broken tooth and an abscess. As a night shift worker I sleep during the day and can't answer my phone at noon. This place called me on the weekend and expected me to answer a phone call to verbally confirm an appointment even though when you call them back they're closed on the weekends. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early and was turned away because I couldn't answer a phone call on a Sunday morning as a night shift nurse. The funny part is they say they talk walk ins based on availability so how is that possible when you turn away an emergency appointment when the patient arrives 10 mins early to a scheduled 8am appointment on a Monday morning the week before Christmas? I initially got my screening here in October of 2024. I paid for the screening which included X-rays and an examination. After my initial examination I paid for the screening, scheduled my cleaning for early November, and they had me pay for the cleaning in advance. My hygienist canceled and rescheduled my appointment twice, and tried to cancel it a third time but when I threatened to cancel the appointment and demand a refund, I was told that I could have my teeth cleaned later in the afternoon at 4:30. Four months from my initial examination, I drive half an hour for my cleaning appointment only to be told that my appointment at 4:30 should have never been made because the hygienist leaves at 5:00 and that they would have to cancel my appointment for the fourth time. I told the front desk that I wasn't interested in rescheduling my appointment and that I wanted a refund for my cleaning that I already paid for, and a refund for my initial examination, because now I will have to go to a different dentist and pay them for another initial examination. At first I was told that I could only be refunded for the cleaning, however, eventually they said that they could refund me for both expenses. This dentist office wasted my time for the last four months when I could've gotten my teeth cleaned somewhere else, not to mention the gas waisted driving 30 minutes there and back twice. All in all, I would highly recommend NOT using this Aspen dental location. read more

Then over two months later they billed me $500. I attempted to speak with them about it but they said I owed it They put a collection company on it anyway and they harmed my credit!! I came into the office for the first time in early November To have my upper teeth removed and upper dentures. I was given a temporary set of dentures which, as expected, were very ill fitting, but as my gums changed, the teeth didn;t.... Understandable. But then after several month (4) I never heard anything from Aspen about getting my permanents. So I called and set up an appointment, they took molds of my gums and measurements of teeth etc for my permanents. You get to pick what color teeth you want to match the bottom teeth. so I selected C1 that closely matched my bottom teeth. When that set came in, the teeth were pure white, no match at all to my other teeth. They re took the impressions and I waited for a month for this set to come in, again, I had to call them to set an appointment. This second set had many issues, Ill fitting, they hurt, had sharp edges sticking out between the teeth, but more concerning the were crooked. The 2 front teeth were to the left in my mouth, it looked weird. Because they didn't fit well, I told the Dr lets do the adjustments and see if that straightens them out. On my third appointment for adjustment, the Dr came in, spent literally 5 minutes grinding a tooth down that was hitting, and said that there was nothing they could do to make me happy, go out and see the receptionist for a refund..... REALLY??? You want me to be satisfied with crooked teeth in my dentures that your office made.... Thats OK? Im suppose to be happy? A lot of false advertising in this place..... A prettier smile certainly isn't what they are going for. I feel bad for the staff, My experiences with them have been nothing but pleasant, but the people in charge, don't care if you have teeth and don't want your business. read more

Wow. It's no wonder why your rating is a 1!!! Every time i call the Kernersville office the receptionist never picks up the phone on a ring and every time this woman answers the phone she places you on hold immediately. Then when you actually get back on the phone, she seems confused about scheduling an appointment wasting time as if people don't work. This woman is the front point of contact and every time has poor customer service. I took time off work for a check up one day, went into the office and the computers where down. Ok so things happen unexpectedly . Well, 3 weeks later, i finally get a call (mind you i left messages prior to this with no call back) she calls and leaves a voicemail to schedule an appointment. So i leave about 3 more messages telling her the importance of asking for a particular date as i don't have the time to take off work and if she calls me back to leave a message to let me know if this date is available. Friendly group, just don't seem to be focused on the clients best interest. It would appear to the casual observer that the focus is on the revenue stream. I made an appointment to have a chipped tooth looked at. No pain, just a sharp edge that I wanted to have burnished. I made the appointment for "chipped tooth", yet when I got there they ran me through their "patient onboarding routine" which gets them a nice fee....total suite of x-rays, hygienist and dentist in consultation, etc. Long story short, they conjured up a proposed treatment plan of $4200+........and never did burnish the sharp edge off that chipped tooth. "oh, would you like to make an appointment for that...?" WTh? I thought that is why I made the appointment. Coming out of there with a 2 page recommended treatment plan made me wonder if I should be on a soft food, antibiotic diet as I move toward the inevitable bleeding, toothless, infected pie hole stage. Unfortunately they do not take my insurance but i wanted to give an honest first impression review. Let me start by saying this, i haven't been to a dentist in the last 12 years because of bad experience. my anxiety is very high now because of botched dental work, but anyway back to my review as soon i walked into the building i was greeted by a beautiful smile and was help right away. I didn't really have a minute to sit down before being called back. I had X-RAYS taken and then seated in a room to wait on the dentist and hygienist, the dentist came in first ( unfortunately I can not remember his name) . I had explained my anxiety to the lady who took my x-rays, I assume she had given him a heads up, he started to look at my teeth and was asking if it hurt when he touched a certain tooth, i started to twitch. He stopped and told me to take my time. He made it easy for me, he also informed the hygienist about my anxiety, we were talking about my treatment plan and what they could do to make it easier on me. I would recommend 100% to everyone.
