This is the worst dentist in town that I ever been to. Poor staffing training. had X-rays dune they said I needed a root canal. So I wanted a second opinion. had them send the X-rays to another dentist the X-rays where so bad and blurry there no way to see if I needed any work done which I did not need a root canal Plus they charged me and my wife a $78.00 dollar dental plan renewal after closing there Medford office with no notification notice and now won't return it say it's a automatic renewal plan contract. I'm only giving 1 star because Mickie was amazing and the only one I trusted there! Every single time I interacted with Aspen there was another issue. STAY AWAY FROM ASPEN DENTAL!! I went in for full upper denture and bottom partial. It was seriously THE WORST experience I have ever had! At 56yo and have been to the dentist many times due to brittle bones/broken teeth I have never been treated so horribly. Dr. Iida treated me like a child and yelled at and over talked me and would NOT let me speak because I wasn't understanding why they kept changing prices on my ledgers. My surgery was in December of 2025 and I am still numb! There are numerous reasons why they are terrible. I was a cash paying patient and they completely took advantage of me. They made up procedure costs and added them to my ledger without my knowledge. Huge fraudulent violations. Huge OSHA violations. Huge malpractice! Plus, my personal injury. My bruising is from her forcefully injecting the syringe into my sinuses as I white knuckled the armchair and moaned in agony. The anesthetic went down my throat and I was literally gagging, tears rolling down my cheeks, and she continued to inject me forcefully. if i could give this place a 0 star i would! first off they were dismissive and passive aggressive during my visit. i let them know i had some dental office ptsd due to my office prior to them, and they did not give one shit. THEN they told me i had 11 cavities, quoted me a HUGE BILL, and told me i would have to expand the fillings over multiple appointments (making it more expensive) i went to dental excellence (100000/10 experience, go there instead!) and they told me i had 4 (one in need of a root canal), they took care of it all at once. this place is a HUGE money grab. do not go here. avoid at alllllllll costs. read more

LIARS & CROOKS . Had implants done 4 yrs ago from day 1 the implants were shoddy & wrong. The people in grants pass like Holly, and other employees were complesent in the lies told to me. By surgeon. I saw 2 other dentists and a periodontist in this time. I also dealt with 4 surgeries 1 was 8 1/2 hrs long and family members fighting cancer. & deaths in my family. I told corporate I would not go back to Grants Pass aspen dental. Finally had appointment at Medford aspen dental. The dentist said I can tell just by looking at them they dont look right but gentle dental did them. No I said I think I would remember where I went when I made biggest mistake of life. They said they couldn't find me. Hmmm after sending the correspondence between Grants Pass Aspen & I they said my file had been put in storage. The only reason I even went to Medford aspen is to get these things atleast taken out. A true periodontist told me everything has to be taken out and redone over $23,000 to fix. I borrowed the original $7,000 then I paid 1500+ to dr. Johnson and another $500 to rogue periodontist who told me it was all wrong. Don't go here if you need a denture repaired. First I had to call their 833 number because I couldn't find the local number. I told the lady I had a tooth pop off my denture and just needed it repaired. She wouldn't stop her sales speech long enough to listen. She asked about my teeth, were they bleeding, hurting, loose etc. I said I have dentures!!! I just need a repair. Finally she said she could make an appointment a week out and I said no I'd call someone else. Then she told me they take walk ins. She gave me the local phone number and I called and explained my needs. The gal there said to come down and they will look at the problem and see if they have time today. I went there and found out the first person I talked to at the 833 number had made an appointment for me after I said not to. Then the gal told me I would need an exam before they could do anything. I said for a repair??? And she said yes and I would have to wait till the day the appointment was made for. What a huge waste of time and gas. I'm not going to wait a week to have my tooth put back in place and walk around with a big gap in my smile and I sure don't need to have an examination for a denture repair! They need to have better communication with their main office at the 833 number, and not make appointments after being told no. They need to tell you over the phone you need to be examined before anything else happens. To me it was a lie telling me I might be able to have it fixed today when they knew I couldn't. I went into Aspen Dental in Medford due to tooth pain but also because I am aware I am in serious need of dental work. It turns out I had a small infection so the very polite dentist prescribed me antibiotics. That's my positive take on the experience. Overall. however. the outlook is darker. Everyone was very friendly and courteous in a professional manner. However. I felt like a commodity. It was very impersonal and rushed.. The hygienist was friendly and decided for me that I need all my upper teeth pulled and dentures. No one sat down with me and provided options, like real dentists in my experience do. They don't seem big on having actual conversations in this office; and even though I was asked a couple of times if I had any questions, the question, "when are we going to talk about my teeth" never arose because I thought maybe it would still happen. In fact. I heard the dentist tell the hygienist more than once that something about "immediates" was going to be my choice, and that I would have to decide, but then she told me that is what I was getting and never asked me to make any kind of decision. It's obvious they see clients as nothing more than opportunities to make a buck. This is natural to some degree since it is their livelihood, but there is an element of greed to the whole way one is treated that is dehumanizing. I was treated like an object when they forced dentures on me without any discussion of what kind of dentures or other options (of course, the most expensive were selected). I was treated like an object when I was not actually given the choice regarding the "immediates" or whatever it was called; I may have the term wrong. The worst was yet to come however. They rushed me to sit across from a fella that seemed completely disinterested in me as a human being, and only interested in knowing how I was going to pay. He apparently had already put together an estimate of how much the work would cost, but asked me if I was employed and if I had insurance. I mean, seriously? Was he just too lazy to look at the paperwork I had already filled out? How did he create the estimate if he did not know if I had insurance or not? I am a federal employee and I have excellent federal benefits, including dental insurance that covers almost half of every procedure except for orthodontics. Since braces are not relevant to my dental situation, I did not figure that the $3,500 LIFETIME limit would be a problem. But this slick dude put down that I had a $3,500 annual limit on all dental work, and gave me an estimate based on that. Unfortunately, I did not catch this until I had left. The guy also told me that estimates with all the billing codes are hard to understand, so just gave me an estimate with the total cost. Apparently, I surmised, he thinks I am stupid. I am electing to go elsewhere for my dental work, somewhere where they will give me choices, talk to me, and won't eff up their estimates. I mean, if the guy sucked this badly initially, I am guessing there would be nothing but billing and claim headaches if I went through with their plan to do whatever it is they were planning to do to my teeth without really ever discussing it with me. read more

The first time or two I had a bad visit i just brushed it off as not a common thing, oh well everyone has those days. But now I've been 5+ times and never had a good time. The doctor has ripped a "permanent replacement" tooth out on accident! He also has no problem staring at the tv while he has a needle in your lip or while he is grinding your teeth down. RUN RUN RUN...This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Dentist office. I got a full set of dentures, the top of the line with plans to eventually get implants. When l finally got the dentures, within the first 2 weeks one of the teeth came out. Ok stuff happens, so they fixed it. 2 days later another tooth came out, different tooth, they fixed that. Now I'm starting to get concerned. 3 months later 2 more, different teeth came out while eating. The very next day after they fixed these 2 teeth another 1 came out. That is in total 5 teeth. At this point I'm pissed off and have had enough of their BS. They are of course offering to keep on fixing these but all l want is my money back. After 7 months and loosing 5 teeth, they can keep them. I've paid them off and want my money back. They offered to send me to another Aspen in Grants Pass for more teeth. No Thanks!! I finally had to call main office and complain to them. No one wanted to refund my money! Eventually they said they would return my money if l gave them both sets first. They took both sets of teeth! Left me with NO TEETH, THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT THAT. l find out later the law states you have 10 days to give them back,so you have a chance to get to go elsewhere to get more, which l did. Very disappointed in my whole experience there. Went there to get a new set of upper dentures. Paid for the higher bracket because they were gonna be nicer teeth and included the first realignment. First time i went in to try my new teeth they were awful. Teeth were so small it didnt look like i had any in. They coukd tell they needed to be bigger i still had my old ones. I am from out of town so had to make anoyher trip there to get them at a latet date. Didnt even have them a week and one of the teeth fell out. Had to make another trip. Then anothet tooth fnell out. Well when the third one fell out i glued it myself. Yoo much expence driving back and forth. So when i called about getting a realignment they said i had to have had it done during the first year so i would have to pay for it. I called for an appointment for a check up and x-rays and was given an appointment. I showed up for that appointment 15 minutes early and waited for an hour and 10 minutes and then I asked why people that came in after me were being taken in ahead of me and they explain to me that I had an emergency appointment and that meant that I would get in when the doctors had spare time. I have a serious back issue and it was difficult for me to sit up straight in the waiting room for that hour and then I would've had to go back and sit in the hard chairs for the exam and I just couldn't do it. Terrible service! Last March and April 2023 they changed my appointment twice because a dentist was on vacation and then a substitute couldn't make it. Then starting April 25,2024,their phones and computers went down for at least 2 weeks,(no exaggeration!)and they could not see patients.(it could've been longer,they never called me back to reschedule,I gave up and took my business elsewhere.)Then this from 8 months ago-The partial they did took 6 weeks to be made. Then after a month the tooth was not flush with the rest of the my natural teeth. The new tooth has 2 vertical lines from top to bottom,visible.The fit of the partial is rocking a bit.Then I called and after 3 weeks there was no return call as promised,so I called again.Then I was told the dentist would call me back the next day. That never happened so again I called today and while I was talking to the office employee about all this, she intermittently kept talking to someone else in the office,not being attentive to my problems. I needed a crown and filling so I asked the price before scheduling an appointment. I was quoted $179. Came in for my appointment, got a filling and temporary crown until one could be made. Came in for the final crown and was told it would be over $300. Supposedly the $179 was only for my filling even though I asked for the full price beforehand. Beware of this dental office, Medford, OR. The office manager is the most inept office manager I have ever encountered. I just discovered, after being left hanging without the crown for my implant because the dentist has moved to Montana, that the office manager never submitted to my insurance information they need in order to process claims for two other crowns I need to have replaced. I came to them half an hour before closing with extreme tooth pain and they helped me out without even a second thought. My primary dentist was closed and I was out of options, but the staff helped me out while being very friendly and concerned for my wellbeing. After have a broken tooth and having it removed, I was offer an 16oz bottle of Chlorhexidine for the cost of $32.00 when I informed Cory that I could get with a prescription for $3.00 from Walmart. He informed me that Dr Choi would not do that for and that the prescription and the prescription for pain was being withdrawn if I was not purchasing bottle of oral rinse. So I was out in the cold with out pain a prescription. So I had to get a prescription at Valley Immediate Care at the cost of $52 Returning December 6th 2017 for an appointment Cory confront me after arriving I told me that I my him uncomfortable and that Aspen Dental would no longer treating me. I went ya Aspen dental to get a tooth pulled and have a certain type of partial denture made. They were not cheap and I choose the top of the line. The bottom partial was very good. When they did the top one they were no where close to right. They made another set. The doctor knew they were to tight and needed hot water to manipulate them. The assistant went to get it and he was in so big of hurry that he ran them under the faucet and said they would be fine. When I got home a hour later they were so tight they were hurting. I went to take them out and it took quite a bit to remove them. They were so tight and incorrect that they ruined a crown they were attaching to. They advertise money back if you are not satisfied. They took almost a year to complete them. The manager said she would talk to the dentist. Well not even a call back after several calls. They advertise this but do not back it up. Now I either have to go to small claims or pay for another set. I would not recommend going there for dentures if you expect them to be back up their guarantee. read more

Every single time I go here I have to wait 30 minutes before even being seen. Ridiculously long wait times. It's apparent they cram as many people in as possible. It's all a sales pitch, just trying to get money out of you with the most expensive product. Always see management on their cell phones while the office phone continuously rings. I called in the evening before and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Everyone was nice, friendly and competent. My dentist had 39 years of experience and was extremely competent. The staff was really helpful and fast. I've been having pains for awhile and finally decided to go into see a dentist. Looked them up on yelp called and got in a day later. When I got there the staff was really helpful and funny. They got me in the back within 10 minutes. They then did all of the x-rays and scans really fast and efficient. When I got to the room the dentist was in the room waiting for me. They had a lot of information and seemed knowledgeable. The office manger helped after seeing the dentist for future appointments. Not good. Had a problem with a tooth under a bridge. They said I needed root planing and maybe a root canal. They did the cleaning on every quad but the one that was hurting. Nearly $1500 later, they sent me to a root canal dentist, who did the root canal to the tune of $1100. He sent me back to have Aspen put the filling in. The filling looked like a giant green crater in the bridge, and the pain was getting worse. I called, and they just couldn't get me in for a couple of days (so much for same day service). So I went to Premier Dental, who saw me immediately. Turned out the bridge had worn thin and no longer went to the gum line. They replaced it...much better! Don't go to Aspen!! read more
