Dr. Rajagopal & Dr. Savage themselves might be okay, but I never got that far. Instead I had an absolutely wild call with Tiffany at the desk the day of my appointment for an exam (Mon) where she berated me for not returning their Friday 11:37 am phone call by 2pm before they closed early for the weekend. I told her I was at work, but that was not a good enough reason apparently? She was calling to repeatedly flat out insist that my insurance was not through the company on the card I was holding in my hand, but was through HMA instead and that I needed to call them and sort this out. I repeatedly insisted that I had never heard of HMA and that it wasn't my insurance and that I was holding my insurance card in my hand and I was pretty sure it was correct. No, it was incorrect, she "wasn't trying to be argumentative" but it was absolutely incorrect and I needed to call my dentist to get my correct insurance information or I needed to call my real insurance company HMA and figure it out or I could have this insurance company that I thought was my insurance company call her and give her my information. But no, she wouldn't be trying to call the company whose card I was holding, she didn't have time before lunch. So it turns out that, yes, the card I was holding is in fact the card of my insurance provider and, yes, my dentist does in fact have my correct insurance on file and yes, they did send it to her, they just told her it could be looked up ON the HMA website. It's also the same, correct, information that I had to give them before I was able to book an appointment at Associates for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the first place. I'm really not sure how we ended up here at all. Tiffany called back to blame it all on my dentist but I let her know I'd booked with another oral surgeon instead and cancelled my appointment at AOMS. I get that misunderstandings happen, but to be argued with like that and have someone absolutely refuse to hear me out was a huge red flag for me. If that's how patients are spoken to and treated at Associates for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - somewhere that practices sedation dentistry and actively advertises for anxious and phobic patients - if that's how Dr. Rajagopal & Dr. Savage conduct their business I can't have any confidence that I would be treated any differently while someone is literally operating on my face. (Jokes a little on them because I fully knew that I'm nearing the max on my dental insurance and would likely be paying cash for the procedure itself, I just wanted my dental insurance to cover what it could on the exam while I saved in the meantime. Congrats to the Dr. that will now be receiving a cash payment though!) read more

Dr. Savage AND his entire staff are just wonderful. He put in one implant for me and it's perfect. They had me laughing (not on purpose) during the procedure and they were really NICE. So I would say their work is of the highest quality there is. Just excellent. That whole place runs like a well oiled machine. They make sure everything happens how it's supposed to. They take care of everything and think of everything. Sincerely. At 62 years old, I have had a lot of dental work in my life. This place and this guy are the best there is OR among the others who are BEST. He's at the top of his game. I just can't say enough good about these people. A++++ These people know what they are doing and they do it exceptionally well. They are truly like a well oiled machine. They've got you!!! The nurses are so sweet and at the same time, they are ON IT. They have every detail taken care of. They clearly explained everything to me and they were KIND. Super kind. Dr. Savage himself is just fabulous! Again, he's a professional, highly skilled in his craft, just excellent at what he does and also a darn nice guy. Again, KIND. I have found many at this skill level to be condescending and full of themselves. Not this guy. He has no chip on his shoulder for his patients to deal with. I LOVED having Dr. Savage take care of me. You can just feel that you're in good hands. I'm 62 years old. I've been to MANY dentists, oral surgeons, etc. I have had EXTENSIVE dental work in my lifetime. Zillions of appointments. I KNOW what I am talking about on this, at least for the Klamath Falls / Medford area. I do need to say, that the couple of negative reviews I read here SHOCK me. What those reviews describe, those sure weren't the people I met and who took care of me. They gave me the absolute BEST care a person can get, before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Savage is exemplary, as are his staff. You MIGHT get lucky and find one this good or almost this good, but more often than not, NO. Like night and day between this guy and others I've tried. A surprisingly pleasant experience! I'm dead serious and I'm picky as heck about my teeth. My whole family is picky about our teeth, I think because my sister is in the dental field. We just think our teeth are really important. I'm telling you these people are at the top of their game and I highly recommend you choose them for your oral surgery needs. Poor customer service. When my husband got an infection and dry sockets their office staff left our call for help unanswered. I had to find another office that would see us and attend to his open wounds and fever. When I called back to let them know how their front office "miscommunication" left us out to dry, they actually kept me on hold for so long I had to hang up. It's been weeks since the surgery and still no follow up call. Even an acknowledgement or apology would have prevented this bad review. They don't care about you after you've paid. read more

My Medford dentist referred me to this practice for an "emergency" extraction, that preparatory to later on getting an implant to replace the removed tooth. The "best" that this practice could do was an appointment SIX WEEKS LATER. Although we begged to be put on their "cancellation list" and they said they would, we never heard from them. STRIKE ONE (Finally my dentist removed the tooth for me, herself). This practice's website ALSO offers NO CLUE about even a range of costs for dental implants. Instead it coyly dodges the issue, suggesting that since "each case is similar, costs may vary." Can you imagine any other business getting away with "We won't tell you the price until you are in our clutches?" What (admittedly typical M.D.) arrogance. STRIKE TWO It's clear that from both of the above "strikes," that for these guys, the patient comes dead last (I was in agony with my cracked tooth, but hey, six weeks wait would be just fine with them). And it's also clear that MONEY comes first (for them.) The attitude their website conveys is: "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." We wouldn't EVER have anything to do with this practice, on a bet. Meh. read more

I was rushed by ambulance to Rouge from Fairchild Hospital in Yreka. I was a very sick woman. Overnight my tooth became my ulitmate demise. My face had swollen within less than 24 hours as big as a small basketball. The doctor at the ER shipped me to Oregon. I started to get less swelling and they let me out of the hospital if I would go and converse with them. I ended up having the tooth extracted by his other dentist that is in with him and he pulled the tooth and pulled out the drain. The nurse's there were awesome. I finally got to see Dr. Savage and he was quite happy that I waited to go home for a couple days since I was so swollen. I recieved A+ Treatment by his staff and Dr. Savage is a caring, compassionate person with alot of compassion which I find is refreshing. Thank you Dr Savage and team for treating me so well and helping me out I dont care what other's think at all.. You're awesome. And I am glad that you were there and your staff to help me through this mess. And thank you for being so sweet. My visit to Dr Savages office was better than I could have possibly imagined. I was extremely nervous to get my wisdom teeth out at 32, and his staff was very understanding and compassionate in every way. It took Dr savage about 5 seconds per tooth and he is absolutely a professional of his craft. I would recommend this office to ALL of my friends and family. read more

Dr. Raj and his staff really are the best in town. They are exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable from checking in to checking out and everything in between. My teen had his wisdom teeth out and it was the best experience we could have had. All of our questions were answered and our concerns were put at ease. I even had a question after I left and when I called I got to speak to someone right away with suggestions and tips for our problem. beware....went in for specific procedure...wanted the implant to cover for two top teeth, but they...oops did not put it where it was suppose to be but where I could get Another Implant which I told them I did never asked for at Any time...but oops.... they did what they wanted and said they would give me a discount to have another done???? WHAT???? Then when I addressed this with them, they dismissed me as a patient? WOW - so sad. Their error from the start and how was I suppose to know that they did it wrong till I got the implant tooth in.....that was not correct either...ewwww read more
