After complaining respectfully and privately, I received a call from the Doctor calling me a liar while lying to me. I know damn well the plastic trays used for the bite alignment did not come from the mold taken off my mouth from the last visit. If it was from any mold, it was messed up or mixed up with another. I really should have read the reviews before I made any appointments. original complaint; Why wouldn't you use the mold you took from the first visit?! I went to the second visit to get full dentures--the bite alignment. Several times I told both the tech and the doctor the plastic plates hurt too much to hold in my mouth. Pushing myself back in the chair with screams of agony until I finally took them out and the tech had to catch them as I tossed them. The doctor said, "Can you just bite down for one minute and it will be done." At one point I pointed out that the top plate had a flaw, a sizeable protrusion cutting my gums. The tech removed it but only after the damage was done. I needed to apply Anbesole to the area throughout the evening and even in the middle of the night. The area is cut and swollen as of 8 am this next day. I may need to reschedule the next appointment until the swelling goes down. Why take a mold if universal plastic trays or just going to be used? I am Autistic, and pain in the mouth causes me extreme pain and anxiety, the reason I agreed to dentures, VS surgery, 30 years ago, was to avoid any future pain in my mouth. I have been fitted for new dentures several times in these 30 years and am always grateful it was not a painful experience. How can an accurate bite alignment be made if the plastic trays used do not fit, at all? I ask again, why not use the mold taken at the last visit? Why did I need a second appointment for the bite alignment if that mold wasn't even going to be used? read more

Husband had the worst experience he had ever had at dentists here. Beware! They really don't care about anything but getting their money. Did not even give an antibiotic after pulling 4 teeth. Had to go to express care and waste money seeing a doctor just to get antibiotic for him. They also made his partial dentures before they pulled his teeth. So of course now they don't fit and they don't care. Stay away from this place! read more

Don't expect compassion or skilled professionals here. I wouldn't use them if my insurance gave me a choice. The dentist we saw was unable to numb myself or my wife for tooth extractions, we were told it was our fault they were unable to do so, and the root canal they performed on my son was horribly botched and required three separate visits to fix. read more

I had to wait a long time to be seen for my first appointment. The X-ray tech kept shoveling the device in my mouth hurting my gums. When the dentist came in the office, she introduced herself, began looking at my teeth and explained all the work that needs to be done. I was last seen by Rusty who was the most polite person on staff. I explained I was disappointed for this first time visit (It was late Friday afternoon). Rusty ran the procedures and what my insurance would cover and gave me an out of pocket expense detail report. I just kinda felt like here is the money we need to schedule and proceed with the dental work. I will probably give them a try, but not impressed with the first appointment or the dentist chairside manners. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I had used Aspen dental several years ago and wasn't happy with them, but my insurance changed so I had no other options. I was hoping that my previous bad experience was just a fluke, but that was wishful thinking. I came in for a fitting for a partial denture and had an appointment two weeks after to receive it. I received multiple reminders of said appointment and the day before I was scheduled to come in, I got an email to call them. When I called they didn't know what the email was referring to, but upon doing some investigating said my partial wouldn't be in for another two weeks. Not only that, but they had no openings until the following week which meant I had to wait a total of 5 weeks for my partial, yet they advertise an "in house" lab that can get you dentures in a week. Maybe partials are different though? When I went in to my appointment to get my partial, they were so tight I couldn't even bite down. It was like they weren't even the right ones. The girl went back several times to work on them and then finally brought up the woman from the lab and I told her that they were really uncomfortable and the right side was causing a lot of pain and she explained that they will conform to your mouth as you wear them. I expressed my concerns that they really didn't feel right and I was leaving for vacation the following day and told her I felt like I couldn't even eat with them in. She said if I needed them tweaked I could go to any Aspen dental. Really? Who the heck wants to go to the dentist on their vacation unless it's an unforeseen emergency?! Despite my concerns, I tried to wear them and I couldn't even eat eggs with them in and only made it 7 hours before they caused two ulcers in my mouth and I took them out. I waited several days to try them again to let the sores heal and there was no way I could wear them. I tried several times, and each time they hurt like hell. Upon my return from vacation I called them first thing Monday morning to explain that they causes sores and I can't wear them at all, and they couldn't get me in for a week and a half! Seriously?! What the heck kind of service is that? I called another office and their soonest opening is 5 days from now. The woman at the lab made it sound like it would be no big deal to come in and get them fitted better. Ok, I guess if I want to wait weeks on end it's no big deal, but to me this is piss poor customer service. The dentist I previously was at would get you in that same day if need be. The only reason I went to Aspen Dental was because my insurance changed and they were the only in network dentist. Next year I will be changing dentists and I don't care if it's costs me more out of pocket. read more

I have dealt with several people there over the last few days. I am beyond satisfied with the service. Wait times are short. Prices are reasonable. Everyone has been so nice and accommodating with my schedule. I will have no problem referring them to everyone I know. read more

Honestly they dont even deserve 1 star, The current manager is the most unprofessional piece of s$#t i have ever encountered in my life. The staff is very unfriendly. And the Dr. s are absoulutely the Wal-mart of dentists. Had an appointment at 1pm for a very tiny denture chip. didnt get out of there till 4pm. And when i complained about the time, the manager played this intimidation game with me, what a joke. And to end this final tragedy, my dentures didnt fit after they took 4 hours to supposedly fix, and they want to charge me $200. Run, i mean run as far as you can from Aspen dental!!!!! read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Just looking to sell unnecessary services and keep you coming back frequently. Was there for 1 1/2 hours just for a quick exam and x-rays...didn't even do a teeth cleaning. You have to come back separately for that. Would definitely NOT recommend. read more

Never had an appointment that lasted less than 2 hours. Left sitting w/ instuments in my numb mouth for @ least 20 minutes on several different occasions. On two different occasions waited over 30 minutes after scheduled apt time to get called back, but when my husband was a few minutes late for an apt they refused to see him & were incredibly rude. Will never go back to any Aspen Dental office, had bad experiences @ both Moline and Davenport offices. read more

Naming yourself after Aspen, CO insinuates that you are at or near the top of your industry. This is not the case for this Aspen Dental location. Another writer said that Aspen was the "McDonald's of dentistry". That is an insult to McDonald's. While McDonald's might use cheap ingredients and be unhealthy, at least you know that going in. Aspen dental is a fraud when it comes to the quality of care they want people to believe that they offer. They never called my wife back after her first appointment, they didn't tell her what they were going to do, they only did part of the job and asked her to come back to finish it, and when they were fixing her cavity they pulled her mouth open so wide that it slightly tore. But hey, if want these things to happen to you at least you now know them going in. Now they could almost be called the McDonald's of dentistry. But that assumes they are worth the price... read more
