I received a front crown and front veneer from Myotech 2.4 years ago. Highly pricey. The veneer came off biting into a soft bun. When I called I was given no guarantee of a replacement of the veneer two days before Christmas. All I wanted for Christmas is my two front teeth. The office manager Missy is an absolute horrible person to deal with. Missy is rude, unprofessional and verbally aggressive. She lies about conversations that took place, mails letters a week after the referenced appointment date, and insults you in a condescending manner. The young lady that took me back to the chair was so nice and pleasant. Nurse that came in and explained everything and took more pictures was nice and pleasant. Doctor came and talked with me about the plan and options, he was very nice. This place is a beautiful place, from the front desk and the way to the check out. UPDATE! Myotech also told me that if I don't get braces, my tooth would eventually make it difficult for me to eat and chew when I got older as it will continue to move. I just got back from my Dentist (20 mins ago) and they told me that braces are 100% cosmetic for me. They just confirmed the Myotech lies this morning, and it upset me again, so I am posting again. In my experience, Myotech uses lies, and fear tactics to get their hands on more of my money. read more

I recently moved to the area and needed dental care. I wasn't sure where to go, since I have no insurance. My husband has been going to Myotech for several years and he was very happy with his dentist, Dr Jarrin, so I gave it a shot. I got my wisdom tooth removed by Dr Mulka, he is really skilled and explained everything he was doing as he did it. It barely hurt at all and I trusted him completely. The staff here were all really nice and the office itself is clean and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend Dr Mulka! read more

I went to Myotech for a new set of dentures after seeing commercials on television and a relative's recommendation. I saw Dr. Brian Prudent for the first 10 minutes of my first visit. He then turned me over to Jill who is the clinical supervisor of the Denture Department. She had me wear a temporary lower denture that she said would adjust my lower jar. She said I would have to wear it 4-6 weeks. I thought they knew what they were doing. After weekly visits for Jill to check on the "progress" of my jaw she decided after 3 weeks my jaw had adjusted enough for her to make the dentures. They were sure to collect nearly $5000. from me upfront. She never could get my upper denture to fit right. I don't get the suction I should have and that I had with my old set of dentures. She made two adjustments never getting my dentures to fit right. I can't eat right, they don't feel right, they don't look right but Jill said "sorry that is all I can do". I never saw Dr. Prudent after that first visit. I have since found out that if the final impressions for fabrication of dentures was done by an assistant and not by the dentist it is a violation of the Illinois Administrative Code 1220.245. I , like another person who wrote a review sent a letter to Dr. Jarrin with no response. I have been advised to contact a lawyer in Chicago who handles Dental Malpractice cases. I would never recommend Myotech to anyone. read more

Several years ago I went to Dr. Jarred and he suggested implants would work well for me. I figured he knew more than I did so I agreed to let him do the work. Big mistake! After spending more than $10,000 on 5 implants and an upper denture (yes, just the upper) he ended up making several plates and finally one fit halfway decent. But the plate or teeth kept breaking. This went on for over a year. When I asked why this was happening, he always said "because you have such a strong bite." ????? I finally went to another dentist in Bettendorf. He x-rayed my mouth and showed me that the implants were never going to work because they were put in crooked. So I went and got yet another opinion and was told the same thing. Then I went to a THIRD dentist and he surgically removed a couple of the implants (which was a horrible ordeal!) and by then two had broken off. So this dentist put in a few new implants and made new dentures (upper only) for about $5,000. I wrote to Dr. Jarred (who is a nice guy by the way), and told him about all that I had gone through and why. He never responded and I never sued. read more
