DON'T forget your wallet -- and hopefully your sense of humor too. My father just went back, and I'm hoping the back office experience is more pleasant than the front. I do want to say the young lady who initially checked us in was very kind and professional. That said, the heavy focus on payment is pretty off-putting for a new patient experience. When I scheduled the appointment, the receptionist was rude and repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to explain that my father has dual insurance coverage, including Delta Dental Premier as his primary plan, which covers 90% of the treatment he needed to be seen for. A friendly suggestion: when a patient is coming in for a consultation, it may be better to wait until after they've actually been evaluated by the dentist before leading so aggressively with financial discussions. It creates an uncomfortable first impression. At this point, I would strongly recommend considering a private practice over chain dentistry. I'll update again after the appointment. read more

Horrible customer service. Daughter had a filling fall out Saturday and was in a bit of pain and we called to make an appointment, they had us scheduled for Monday 8:30. While we were in route to said appointment since we had to be there 15 mins early, one of the office girls called and canceled and said they were double booked could they reschedule. Would have been fine if she wasn't in pain, but whoever the girl was that I spoke to, had a ridiculous attitude. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I scheduled just to get her seen this once, but now I see I should have listened to all the horrible reviews for this place. Front desk tried to charge me 1000 after setting up a payment plan the day before. They talked me out of sedation because my nose is stuffy and said they would give me an anxiety medication that did not work. Tried to tell them I could feel what they were doing nobody listened I raised my hand 3 times to stop them. Asked for a different mouth guard cause I could feel them hitting other teeth beside my wisdoms. read more

I went in for an implant crown that was loose. They tried to tell me I had other issues that needed fixed and when I got a second opinion from another dentist I was told these issues were not true. Advance tried to charge me $10,000 for work I did not need. Before I knew it their financial lady had me approved for a payment plan even tho I didn't agree to even applying for one. she was was slimy and pushy trying to get me to sign up for the payment plan. Aspen dental has awful customer service, inaccurate and inconsistent billing, and seemingly unreliable at filing insurance on the patient's behalf. Beware! I'd recommend saving yourself the headache and overpaying, and finding another option. read more

worst experience ever! they left my husband with a broken jaw after extracting teeth to prepare for dentures. when we went back they sent him away and said this was out of their hands and beyond what they could do. they were incompetent. and left my husband in excruciating pain and discomfort. and had the balls to charge us for their and so we didn't have a ding on our credit we needed to pay it. we ended up going to an oral surgeon and they couldnt believe what they had done to him. read more

Front tooth crown fell out. I called the Norman, OK location at 8am this morning and left a message. When no one called back I called at 10:20. The lady said her name was Wendy (what she told me). She said that she could not get me in until the 17th. HMM their message says they are available for this. When I asked for Wendy's supervisor she said she did not come in today. I asked for anyone other than her and she said that was the dentist. I asked to leave a message for him but she refused. I am pulling my business and my husband's. I guess loosing a front crown is not an emergency to her. Good job Wendy. read more

Please stay away for this dental institution, I went there to get some information on dentures, and it cost me $ 250.00 they are very unprofessional, they made me take x-rays just to ask about the cost and timeline for dentures which cost 151.00, Then I had to talk to a dentist which cost me $ 99.00, just to get information BEWARE read more

Went into the office was met by a friendly person. Taken right back after being checked in. Had my xrays done and met with the hygienist. She was very informative and let me know what she found. Met with the dentist and formed a treatment plan. Met with office manager and got insurance figured out then back to hygienist for a cleaning. I just moved to town and went in based on internet search. I am a retired business/sales/marketing consultant/trainer. From that perspective they have a very polished, very specific presentation regimen. I came in for an emergency crown. I was first put through the pre-exam, Xrays, evaluation by periodontist and dentist. Then handed over to a financial person who presented me with a three page "dental health program" costing almost $5,000. When I hesitated, she offered financing programs, etc. I simply said no and left. Probably some nice people but strictly a corporate business designed to make the most money as possible from as many people as possible. Dental Depot which didn't take my insurance was still cheaper and more efficient. Their waiting room was full. Aspen had only a few and I heard more than one issue about payment and questionable charges being discussed with them by patients. Too many other dentists to choose from to waste time and money here. read more

I called to get my 84 year old sister an appointment. We arrived at 3:12 for a 3:30 appointment. We sat for one hour before getting in to see anyone. My sister has osteoarthritis and waiting in a office, with absolutely no social distancing, was brutal. Thus company absolutely deserves the lousy rating. read more

I have used Aspen in Norman for almost two years. Since the previous dentist has left I have had nothing but -sit down, open, close, pay- They recommended a mouth guard recently and told me it would be $500. That's a lot for a tiny piece of plastic. I wasn't interested and then they said I have a credit that would cover the cost. I found out that they have been hanging on to almost $2200 in overpayments and seemed all to glad to let my insurance be listed inaccurately as inactive. Today they handed me a piece of paper to sign that had a large figure on it, no explanation of why is was so high or why I needed to sign it. I recommend you find a dentist that cares about you as a person instead of just your wallet. read more

Staff is nice but tries to oversell and possibly over diagnose. They came up with a treatment plan that cost over $10,000 with insurance. I would've had to pay $3500 out of pocket, when I said I couldn't they pressured me to apply for their financing program. They use a few different creditors, one had an interest rate slightly above 26%. I called them the next day to have my records emailed to me and to cancel my son's appointment. My experience seemed more like a sales pitch than actual dentistry. I went in for a cleaning, and basically paid $400 (with insurance) for a procedure that took 30 minutes; they didn't even polish the teeth. I had a similar procedure performed in Wisconsin at a mom and pop dentistry clinic for half the price. Don't go here. It's a scam and you will end up paying for things you probably don't need. The staff is however very friendly, but I would look at a family dentist over a corporate dentist. Lesson's learned. read more

I called and made an appointment to have my Dentures relined on June 12, 2019. At the time I made my appointment I was told that I needed to come in early because the Lab would need to keep them all day in order to do the re-alinement so the appointment was made for 9:00 am. I was also told that I got two free correctional appointments if I had problems. After X Rays I finally got to see the Dentist-??? at 9:45. He asked me how long I had them and I replied 4 years and he said they are in great shape to be that old and I should get a good fit on the alinement. He took the impressions and told me to come back at 5 pm and they would be ready. I was back at 5 but didn't get to see the Dentist-??? until 5:45 pm. At this time he told me to not use Fixodent on them and if I had any problems to come back. I was charged $733.00. They advertise they give an 10% discount to seniors after looking at the charges I ask them about the 10% discount and the lady said we gave it to you which was a damn lie because they didn't. On June 18 I was having problems and called and made an appointment for June 20, 2019 at 9:00 am. When I got in the chair and explained my problem to a young lady she ask me to take them out so she could look at them. I did so and she told me that they were not repairable. I told her the Dentist??? told me they were in good shape when I got them relined. She then told me that she was just an assistance and would go get the doctor. About 5 minutes later she and another lady came in and the older lady ask me what the problem was. She did not identify herself. (probably the janitor.) I explained the situation to her and she said you need to talk to the Manger, follow me and I will take you to her office. After explaining the whole story to the Manager she told me that they would apply the $733.00 toward new dentures. I told her no that I want to see the Dentist??? that I first seen. She then gave me an appointment card to see Dr. Goldsmith on July 10, 2019 at 3:45 pm. I then ask her how I was supposed to eat with bad Dentures for 3 weeks. she got out of her chair and returned with a tube of Fixodent. I told her that the Dentist??? told me not to use Fixodent on them she then said let me show you the way out. I had to go elsewhere and pay more money to get a proper alignment. In summary ASPEN DENTAL LOCATED AT 1683 24TH ST. IN NORMAN, OK IS A BAND OF LOW LIFE SCUMS WHO CHEAT PEOPLE BIG TIME. The Manager was a very Rude tub of Lard!! dr are good but make sure you are told how much you have to pay to avoid surprises. I was overcharge for service and I was not told before service was provided. and when I ask the reason of the charges the manager was very rude and said not to waste my time to compaint to corporate, I still contact corporate and she was right they didn't care for my email. too bad becouse I really like the dr but I wont go back for customer service read more
