I had two teeth extracted in an emergency situation. I was beyond grateful for the time, care and concern provided. From the moment I walked in the door, the people at the front desk were kind. Immediately worked me in. I had xrays done. Saw the dentist, she explained the necessity for the work to be done Immediately and explained the procedure. Within 15 minutes I was being prepared for the extraction's. The Dental Hygienist and the Anesthesiologist explained everything. Once the dentist returned she made sure I was ready and began the procedure. All the way through the procedure until completion the dentist was asking me if I was alright and if I needed anything. When done she prescribed the necessary follow up medication and antibiotics to prevent infection. I was given an after care bag as well as a follow up appointment for two weeks later. The gave my friend a flat edged permanent crown on his canine. Essentially made his canine look like a molar. He paid almost a thousand dollars to get that tooth fixed just for them to make it not look right. Next level incompetence. They also would add on extra costs to what they would say his upcoming appointments were going to cost, always creating a problem the day of. Money-grabbing and inconsiderate to patients. I am so disappointed. I finally convinced my young adult to go back to the dentist after several years. We suspected he had some cavities, no problem. He was there to face the music and get back on track. The dentist spoke to him like he had committed a crime. She belittled and berated him so badly that I will never convince him to go back. Affordable dental work and convenient locations, but otherwise not the greatest: it can take 40+ minutes to be seen after your appointment time. Most work ends up having some sort of problem. A simple filling will break and need to be root canaled instead. A simple filling will end up infected 6 months later. They will constantly unilaterally set me up for appointments and then spam text you about making it. In general, not recommended. read more

If I could give a zero I would! Avoid this place, my 6 year old granddaughter was there yesterday 8-13-25. After being on the gas and numbed with 2 to 3 shots. Waited for at least 20 minutes before the dentist came in. Of course she's going to get upset because the whole side of her face, including her eye was numb. Then the dentist decides to walk in. I recently went to the Norman location I got all my upper teeth extracted and got a denture. Literally the worst decision I ever made. The dentist bruised my entire face and never saw me again. Always the assistant saying she's busy. 3 months in and my denture still don't fit I have to use glue more than recommended. I feel that they don't care. If you are on SoonerCare DO NOT GO TO DENTAL DEPOT. They badmouth low-income families on SoonerCare like they forget there's no doors or walls to keep us from hearing what they're saying. My daughter was complaining about her mouth hurting about a year ago. Made an appointment, took her in, they said it was "growing pains." Fast forward a year later, and she has horrible cavities where the "growing pains" were. Did we miss her 6 month cleaning accidentally? Yes. My son is special needs and has to go to a different dental office, and I got their appointment dates mixed up. So I called, scheduled a new one for her. She's also at the age where she is transitioning to brushing her own teeth. She still does the ineffective wagging of the tooth brush in the mouth, but try to correct her and we launch into a power-struggle. It's taken a lot of work, patience, and modeling to correct her, and a new electric tooth brush that buzzes every 30 seconds to change the part of her mouth she's brushing. I'm not negligent. She was 5 at the time and stubborn as a mule. So, we're there, get the x-rays done, and I hear them talking nearby. Absolutely RANTING about poor people on SoonerCare and how we don't take proper care of our kids. It was awful. They wouldn't even treat my sweet, well-behaved, A-Typical daughter (teachers think my kids are well-behaved, polite gems, btw, so I'm clearly doing something right). They referred us out. I called my son's dental office, and they're seeing her now. They asked why Dental Depot wouldn't treat her, and I told them what happened. They were shocked. PS) I'm in Norman, not San Francisco. I came in today for a cleaning and they literally pulled my bottom retainer off of my teeth, but because I had asked a question pertaining to my retainer BEFORE they pulled it off, they are claiming that they had no part in it. After paying $170, I went out to my car and looked at it in the mirror and the retainer is just completely loose in the middle now. I went back inside and explained the situation to the lady at the front desk who went back to talk to the doctor, and she wouldn't even let me talk to her. I did not receive any sort of refund and now I have to wait 2 weeks to see an orthodontist and pay $80 that I shouldn't have needed to. The retainer is poking out so much that it sounds like I have a lisp now as well. 0/10 do not recommend this dentist office. read more

I just had to post how wonderful my experience was at Dental Depot. I was visiting from California and my daughter who was a patient raved about how good they were so I went in for a tooth that needed a filling in the front which they matched perfectly to my teeth... I ended up doing 2 crowns (that i was going to do later)in the back there too because they were so good!!! Dr. Patel was very personable and his whole staff feel like family by the time I left and they made me patient of the month with a bucket of goodies!!! I went here and she pulled 3 teeth they sent me home with ibuprofens!!! so I called and asked for something stronger. then she sent me the ONLY medication I was allergic to!! I think she did it on purpose because I definitely put it on there that I was allergic to it. and I've been up for 24 hours due to the pain. and now they won't answer my phone calls. this place is a joke I wouldn't suggest going here. read more

The actual dentist did amazing . However I have had to cancel a few appointments due to work schedule and financial problems. Now because of that they will not make appointments for me I have to call in Advance 2 days and pray they can see me. And when you have mouth pain that's just not doable. So unfortunately I'm going to have to find other dental services for myself and my children. Staff was so nice when I called on a SATURDAY with a broken tooth and got me in in two hours. They worked with my insurance, even got me a cleaning that same day. They were so flexible with my work schedule to come back for crown fittings, etc and each staff I've come in contact with was so enjoyable to be around. Dr. Patel is the best dentist I've ever been to and really took time explaining to me and letting me ask questions. They have blankets, chapstick, and bottled water for each patient to use/have on request. It's obvious they care about the comfort of their patients. read more

Dental Depot overall is just a really neat concept and the doctors, equipment, staff, service, and decoration/furniture is top notch. This Dental Depot, like all others, has a railroad depot theme with a model train chugging along throughout the clinic. The place is extremely clean and all the staff are very helpful. You really get the sense that no one's out to get you for "extra" treatments you don't really need or for those your insurance won't cover unless you actually need them. They're extremely efficient yet attentive to your actual needs and open at 8 which is really convenient for the 9 to 5ers! read more

So I would give this place negative stars if it was an option,these idiots pulled all of my wife's teeth and told her she needed a partial, so they fitted her for one, her insurance company approved but the "Dentist" kept telling her she needed more done before she could get her partial, that was 6 months ago and today she went to pick them up and found out that because of the "Dentist" putting it off she has now been declined by insurance. My wife is a diabetic who has been on a "soft diet" for 6 months now because of this and has had health complications because of it. So now we had to get a lawyer involved over this. Ps the people giving this place "Rave reviews" are either employees or family. If you want to waste time and money for very little dentistry this is the place for you. God help you. read more

I was an intern there and was treated with nothing but respect. The whole team really cares about their patients and wants to give the correct treatment not just make money. I now am a patient there and Dr. Ophus, Dr Hoang, and sorry but I forget the other guy but they are all AMAZING. Was told by them that my daughter needed a root canal. but they dont do childrens root canal. Was sent to another dentist in okc who took xrays also-- said same thing-had to go to endodontist--went to Dr. Brock Miller here in norman (Absolutely LOVE him) he said there was no cavity, no need for root canal. teeth were healthy- just had discolored spot. So how many children with discolored spots are getting unnecessary dental work because dentists cant tell difference between discoloration and cavity. She supposedly has cavity on other side of mouth and they didnt do that when they had her in. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! dont go there. read more

This office was decent for a teeth cleaning, but their capabilities as far as effectively being paid with insurance are rudimentary at best. I linked my insurance before the appointment and was told it was all good, only to later be rejected by their adjuster for reasons unknown. Attempts to reconcile this over the phone were met with seeming incompetence and bad service. After being sent a bill months later I was unable to get them on the phone during business hours with the number provided. My insurance company had them listed and had no idea why the claim was rejected. This place is annoying if you value people doing their jobs, and interfacing with an accepted insurance provider. Dr. Partel is by far the best dentist! My son loves him! Easy to get in! My son chipped his tooth at school and they seen us in an hour. Wait time is never more than 5 minutes. Get there early for paperwork because they'll call you back a minute before your appointment. Calm environment, which is nice because who likes going to the dentist? If private pay, they told us the cost, we said what we wanted to do. They said come back when we want other services! NO PRESSURE! No surprise billing! No unnecessary service! read more

I went in for my routine cleaning which was performed by Tracey, a very good hygienist, She sent Carmen in to do the polishing and flossing. Terrible job! Didn't polish every tooth. As for flossing, my gums are still sore. She was so aggressive with the floss. I even said "ouch" several times. I will still go back because Tracey is excellent. read more

I wish I could give the staff 5 stars and the "Executive office" no stars. I just want other patients to be aware of the refund policy when you over pay for services. I paid in full for my crown to be done on 2/2/17. I charged it on a credit card and have since paid off the charge since it was 4 months ago and I had gotten my tax refund. I requested an itemized statement for my FSA reimbursement and upon examination it was brought to my attention that there was a refund due. I got the call today and was told the refund had to be refunded to the card I had charged it on due to their "contract with the credit card companies." So now I have to try to convince my credit card company to refund my money. That is due to me. Because Dental Depot is more concerned with credit card company contracts than customer satisfaction. I am beyond disappointed and from here on out will be doing business elsewhere. read more

i went in for an extraction I was in excruciating pain I asked point blank can you make the pain stop today I was assured they could I let them talk me into a root canal only to be told my blood pressure was to high it was elevated because of the pain so another appointment was made every one was friendly but when I go to pick up my script it's only amoxicillin which does nothing for pain I tough it out still in pain come back and I'm told the same thing only this time that I can't come back until I see a doctor I understand that my blood pressure was high but the reason was the pain I'm going to another dentist to just have the tooth pulled read more

Then they left me in a chair for an hour and a half without coming to check in with me or anything. I went to the desk and they treated my like I was an idiot for wondering what was going on. In general I love dental depot. The dentists and staff have always been so nice and professional. The exception here is Dr David Schwartz. He does dental surgeries at the Tecumseh clinic. He is a very good surgeon but has a horrible bedside manner. I found him condescending, patronizing, insulting, and sometimes just outright rude. He rolled his eyes at me several times, talked down to me like I was stupid, told me I was being non-compliant when in reality he told me several contradictory things over the 4 times I saw him. I have a master's degree in nursing and I guarantee that I understood the post procedural guidelines which were written down and I followed. After the procedure he was very annoyed and lectured me because I kept waking up during the procedure. He was the one giving the anesthesia! I don't know how he thought that was my fault. After one visit I heard him unprofessionally insulting me to other staff in the hallway. He has very poor communication with the staff at dental depot. He would tell me to follow up at a certain time but the staff at dental depot always had a different order from him. When I asked questions he talked down to me like I was stupid and at times wouldn't answer my questions (which at times was pretty important seeing as how he would give me different, contradictory instructions); he would just walk out whileI was talking or asking questions because he was done talking to me. I would have followed up with another surgeon but I had already paid for the procedure so I was stuck with him. I highly recommend finding another dental surgeon. I'm going to be rude now and just say stay away, he's a real jerk! read more

Dental Depot in Norman, OK is AMAZING, they got me in on same day appointment for a root canal that needed taken care of, I got it done that day, 3 weeks later received my crown and 2 fillings. They were very nice and professional. Would defiantly recommend Dental Depot. read more
