Made appointments for my husband and I to get some dental work done and today was the day . We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful really down to earth personality. Didn't take long after we filled our information as we are new patients here. Husband was very happy with his decision on his mouth and treatments and he comes back this week as well . With me I need a little bit of work on bottom which there's a plan to do things one at a time things add up crowns etc We were also greeted with another lady who went over prices for procedures that I need done as well as my husband she was so friendly and helpful on all my questions .. overall we were happy with the dentist and the whole staff .. the dentist explained everything in details and it looks like we found our new dentist spot . Very clean . Atmosphere was pleasant . and I will be returning. I even made appointment for my son to be seen at a later date. I was disappointed with the administrative practices at this office. First, when I paid for my 2025 treatment, I was told I had to sign paperwork for a future 2026 cleaning I was not ready to schedule. I said I didn't want to commit to a service that would occur next year, but I was told it was their policy. (That felt coercive to me.) Second, I paid in full on the date of service, yet I later received repeated bills for the same amount I had already paid. It took multiple contacts to get this corrected. Even after they agreed their billing was wrong, they refused to provide a $0 balance receipt, saying they don't normally give those and would "have to make an exception." (I found this frustrating and unprofessional.) Everything I've stated above reflects my personal experience as a patient in 2025. I hope management reviews these policies so other patients don't go through the same situation. read more

I made an appointment for a dental cleaning, I was brought to the back at appointed time. Was told they needed to do xrays first which I agreed to. They must have taken 30 xrays, Then the hygienist came in and measured my gums. Then the doctor came in and reviewed my xrays and told me all the things I needed. Then a financial officer came in and took me to his office and went over the treatment plan which came to over $6000. They said they didnt have time to do a cleaning today and would schedule me for another day ! I was there over an hour and a half and didnt get my cleaning. I had a dental emergency while visiting out of town. While I have dental insurance it unfortunately is not covered out of state. I found Aspen to be both respectful and mindful of that fact while deciding the best course of action for me. The dental hygienists were all very pleasant and friendly, and the dentist was fantastic. She had a very calming and soothing demeanor and she went out of her way to fit me in for an emergency. LIARS!!! We were told on the phone that new patients get a free teeth cleaning with their first visit. At our first appointment they demanded that we get xrays before the cleaning, so we obliged. Then, 2 hours later we find out that we're not getting our teeth cleaned which is the only reason we went, they said they would charge 1500 each for a cleaning at a different appointment. So we stormed out, mortified by their prices. After being told on the phone and at the front desk that the teeth cleaning would be included, the office manager then said "we don't do that." Be VERY careful! They claim they make it affordable. They do that by charging unbelievably high prices and then signing you up for CARE credit with zero interest. If you do have any insurance and it is rejected, they come after you for the balance. I had a crown and a periodontal scaling at a cost of $4643. I called Aspen to get a cracked tooth fixed and was quoted $1345.00 and when I arrived i was quoted $450.00 more. I was forced to pay for services that i did not have money to pay for (deep cleaning), which my insurance covered for free on regular cleanings. I ended up paying for the deep cleaning just so they would fix my teeth. After having 2 temporary crowns and the permanent crowns done, I experienced severe pain during the procedure and after. I had no pain prior to visiting them but now I do. I can't chew on the right side of my mouth and anything hot or cold kills me. Aspen also tried to charge me $250.00 more when I arrived to have the permanent crowns done, which was not due. This place needs to be closed down. read more

They do horrible work! I have had a tooth infection from a tooth crown i had put on in the back of my mouth. I also got a crown on the front tooth which was made to big, it looks ugly and putd horrible! Their billing is flawed. After paying what I owe they always say i owe more. (Many others complain about this as well). Dentistry isn't an exact science but this place is trash. They also never have the same doctors there, a high turnover rate so when a doc messes up and you go back a month later, he's no longer there! See below pic of the infection i got from the crown they put in my mouth. When i called them they gave me an antibiotic and said that the infection would go away. I ended up in the hospital. DON'T BELIEVE ALL OF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. I didn't believe the reviews stating that they want you to perform unnecessary procedures, until it happened to me on my 2nd 6 month cleaning. I was told that I needed over a $1,000 (after ins.) worth of deep cleaning, even though during my 1st visit the dentist stated my teeth looked great. I asked about having the preventive cleaning done and was told that that would not be done because it wouldn't do any good. How could the preventive cleaning not do any good. When I stated the out of pocket cost was more that I could pay, they were very quick to offer financing. They were also very quick to say the work could be done that day, but yet when I had to reschedule my app a month earlier, they stated they were backed up and I would have to wait a month to do a cleaning. From the time I walked back to the dentist chair to the time I was out the door it was less than 20 min, seemed like I was predetermined to this work done before I arrived at the office. Earlier review - I should have gone with my gut. My 1st visit to Aspen Dental. I was unaware that I was not getting my teeth cleaned on my 1st visit. I had x-rays done and then waited for about 30+ mins for the dentist to look at the x-rays and teeth. (Total 1 hr 10 min) Then I was shown to the counter for my exit paperwork. I was a little dumbfounded and ask about having my teeth cleaned. I was told that sometimes they would do the cleaning if they had the time. (Limited staff for a 4:00PM appointment) I was not told this when I set up the appointment and when I was called to be reminded about the appointment. The staff was friendly and I was able to set up a cleaning for the following week, but that means I have to take off more time from work. I will be curious to see how this is billed to my insurance and if Aspen will try to charge for the 2nd visit. I am telling you to save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere!!! This place has costed me more harm than good. For starters, when the woman took my x-rays, she was so rough that they made my mouth bleed. The x-rays they took suggested that I needed fillings, so that is what I got. I have since moved to a new dentist because of multiple horrible experiences here. The new dentist told me that the fillings on my teeth from Aspen dental were not done properly causing my decay to move into my nerve. I now have to pay over $2000 for a root canal and crown at my new dentist due to Aspen not informing me about this issue throughout an entire year of seeing them. Some may think that Aspen is the most cost effective, but I am paying less at my new dentist and they are far nicer, more caring and thorough. read more

If I could give this office 10 stars, I totally would. The second I walked through the door, I felt welcomed. I wasn't as nervous as I thought I was going to be. I had to wait maybe 10 minutes before being seen, but there's a TV in the waiting room so the time goes by fast. Once I got in, Tracey was phenomenal! She and I talked about how I wasn't very good about my teeth and how it was ok because some people get nervous about going to the dentist. Then the topic shifted to our babies. She tried to make a connection with me. This is what made me relax even more. Paulette, the hygienist, was amazing also. She made sure I wasn't in any pain while she cleaned my teeth and she always asks how my baby is doing. I have never been so excited to go to a dentist. I have never liked going to the dentist. Should have listened when my family warned me not to come here. The LAST thing they are concerned about is your dental health, they are focused on how to make as much money as they can from you. My first visit there after my cleaning I wanted an opinion from the dentist if I needed Invisalign because I lost my retainer a while back. They immediately opened up a line of DentalFirst credit that I NEVER ASKED FOR!!!! I simply asked for the dentists opinion, which was never given. Then on a separate visit I was told I had a $12 copay (which was paid) and was sent a bill in the mail later from them which they almost immediately sent to collections and had debt collectors calling me about because I opened the mail late. When asked about getting wisdom teeth removed I was told I would need to be put under general anesthesia for it, wish I was told why, and it would cost me almost $3,000 out of pocket. Also had an appointment with them and they claimed they called me to confirm the appointment and I didn't respond (because who answers every random phone call they receive?!?) so they cancelled my appointment so when I showed up for it, they refused to see me even though nobody left me a voicemail to get back to them and I wasn't told when making the appointment that it would be cancelled if I did not contact them to confirm 24 hours before hand. My advice is to go somewhere else, my whole family has switched and won't be returning. read more

The worst. I should have done this review a while ago. I had no issues but went in for a routine checkup. They stated they found a cavity and I went ahead to get it fixed. Dr. Griffee dug into that tooth but he was there doing it around 20 minutes. It was bazaar and I should have questioned it while it was being done. He said I had horrible decay in there. I didn't have any sensitivity, pain, discoloration or anything before this. Immediately after I had sensitivity that was so awful with cold water that I needed to switch to sensitive toothpaste. Flash forward 2 years and that sensitivity hasn't gone away as I was assured. Now to add, I am having serious pain and my tooth is starting to discolor. I saw Dr Tina today at the Palm Beach Gardens office. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Agar was the assistant and she was efficient and welcoming. Unfortunately due to excessive bone loss, they were unable to do anything for me, but I truly appreciated Dr Tina being straightforward with me as opposed to promising something that just wasn't going to work. This is a new office, so the good is that it is clean. The bad is these guys are money hungry, rude, and inhospitable. The treatment in terms of services will be ok because they are truly structured to perform as many services as possible to be able to bill a higher amount. You are required to pay all up front. They billed me for return cleanings in advance and automatically added a $112. Electric toothbrush to my account and were indignant when I questioned it. I was told that I was responsible for knowing what my insurance covered as it was too much for them to know. Even though they are a primary for my insurance. Overall, Not a good experience!! I'm very disappointed with this company. I went in for an annual xray and cleaning. First they told me my cleaning would be scheduled on a separate visit which I thought was extremely odd. Then they told me I had no cavities! Yay! But then had another lady come in who told me I had serious gum disease and needed a $5,000 scaling procedure. How can I have no cavities but my gums are that bad. The doctor shamed me for not flossing enough and not having routine visits, because I was honest and told them it had been three years since my last check up. I told them I'd like to forgo the extremely expensive scaling procedure and just schedule the basic cleaning for now. They said no. They said my mouth was not in good enough health for a regular cleaning. I have one filling, no root canals, no bridges, no cavities, no absess, no nothing...but my mouth is not healthy enough for a regular cleaning. I politely said I would be by to pick up my x-rays and that I will not be returning as a patient. read more

I was hesitant to see Aspen Dental but was relieved when I met a great, young dentist who made me feel at home. My wife had a wisdom tooth removed. Prior to the procedure we paid the amount that would not be covered by insurance (400ish). We then over a year later received a bill for $89.00. When I called to dispute, I was told that they had to send it back to insurance. I then called back a few weeks later to follow up as I hadn't heard back. Another lady told me there was no record of my call and she found the issue and it should be cleared within a few days. A week later, I followed up and spoke to a third person. This person told me that I owed money because the insurance company "didn't pay as much money as they thought". This just shows bad business on there end. I'm sure what really happened, is they asked for too much money. Instead of settling with the insurance company, they asked me for payment. You can't ask for money, take payment, perform the procedure and then a year later say, "whoops, you actually owe more". I asked to escalate this to the district manager. After not hearing back, I finally just paid the measly $89.00. I will not be returning to Aspen. read more
