I switched dentists some time ago and have had to spend extra money correcting the poor dental work I received, 2 fillings had to be redone and I will likely have to get a crown redone because it was not properly fitted and the bottom part of my tooth is exposed. I understand things can go wrong, but I went back after all my work had been done with some concerns and after taking x-rays I was told everything was fine. A month or so later when I went elsewhere for another opinion the dentist showed me clearly on my x-rays what the problem was. I strongly recommend getting your dental work elsewhere. read more

They told her that her gums look healthy but still saw a Little plac on her fr teeth and they were concerned. Concerned about the plac but not her pain?? They took a full set of X-rays and gave her antibiotics but INSISTED she had to get a cleaning 1st or they would not pull her tooth. After his initial visit and assessment they told 35 yr old mentally challenged son they were going to put him under to pull all 24 teeth in his head as they do need to go. I drove him so I could drive him home after sedation and I'm glad I did! After hearing yelling from the room he was in and seeing the staff giggling I went back and found the doctor shooting him up with novocaine. Her intent was to shoot him up with enough to pull all 24 teeth rather than put him under because "There wasn't an oral surgeon there that day and it would save him some money". I have spoken to members of the dental community including my dentist about what happened that day, some of the terms referring to what they intended to do were: inhumane, torturous, unethical and crazy. The fact the office staff found it funny he was having difficulty and discomfort taking THAT many novocaine shots made it all that much worse. I grade this place just a few steps less that veterenary quality. Never again! read more

The too long; didn't read version is if you want quality, affordable dental care, look elsewhere. I was given an amount to pay (and not a small sum either) and I paid it all up front. I arrived for my appointment and was told I needed to pay more on top of that amount. I asked why and was given a vague "deductible" answer and an eye roll. When I admittedly had a Karen moment about their lack of explanation or transparency in pricing, I was told to leave without getting the services I paid for. I did and have received only a partial refund of what I paid upfront. The amount refunded doesn't even match my EOBs from my insurance company so Aspen is just holding on to my money for funsies I guess. Furthermore, the dentist was horrible. I explained my dental anxiety on the phone before my appointment, to the dental tech doing my x-rays, and to the dentist who met that with an eye roll and a "what you so hate the dentist for?" and then being judged for avoiding dental care. read more

When we talk about my needs they check my insurance and gave me a contract that states that I would pay around $1233.13 and the insurance would take care of the rest. I went 2 times on which I paid every time for the service I received: 1st visit $588.36 2nd Visit $410.28 a total of $998.64 leaving a remaining of $234.49 Guess what? On my third appointment they told me I owed around $410.00 dollars and had the nerve to say that I didn't pay on my second visit. (I have receipts) Now they're trying to charge me 389.00 because supposedly that's what I owe. Great dentists and hygienist but the back room stinks. 18 months after I completed their Invisalign program I got a letter from a collection agency threatening to turn me into all credit agencies for a $395 outstanding bill. I never received a bill from them for that amount. After many calls to Aspen Dental I discovered they turned portions of my Invisalign program into my insurance knowing it wasn't covered. I borrowed $4,000 through Aspen Dental program to pay for all the Ortho treatment. When my insurance declined to pay for the treatment I had already paid for, Aspen added it to my bill again. Stay away from this practice, the cost to resolve their errors is very high. read more

Honestly I'm pretty surprised by the low ratings on here. I get it, dental procedures are unfortunately expensive everywhere, and I don't think it's fair to place blame on the company for that specifically. I was able to get an appointment next day, despite all the additional challenges related to covid-19. I waited no more than 5 minutes past my arrival time, was quickly taken for X-rays, and given a thorough exam. At no time was I upsold on anything, and I felt like the team genuinely just wanted to make sure my concerns were addressed. They even were able to fit me in for a cleaning same day. The staff was friendly, nonjudgmental, and incredibly caring. Definitely will be coming back. read more

Well if I had wanted to go into debt for an amount of over 3 months pay I guess this the place. Since I refused to take on debt I could not afford they refused to do any dental work for me at all. Told me I could make payments. Not sure how happy they would have been when I couldn't make the payments but I guess we will never know. When I tell you I went to aspen dental in 2015 it was not a pleasant experience, I found my self in an emergency situation after eating pistachios, made my tooth loose that needed an extraction. Aspen takes walk in and the other dentist the appointment was 2 weeks later. Let me say this aspen dental has completely revamped all their employees, as well as their dentist, these women and men Bri, Maddie, Jessi and Dr. Mantinaos really know their jobs. They have a great understanding and very knowledgeable about their careers. DR. M is so gentle I didn't feel the needles or when the tooth was out. I can honestly say I will stick with aspen dental this time. I hate a pistachio got me in the dentist but I can say I found a permanent dentist now. So our insurance is very good, yet they manage to stretch the bill past the limits so we pay another $370 for cleaning, how does that work? I gave it 2 stars only because the staff was great and Dr. Vanja Cosic was wonderful in explaining what was needed to be done, in order for me to finally be pain free, and show me what needed to be done, to get me to that point. My broken teeth, constant infections, swelling so bad that I couldn't eat, and all it came down to today, after my appointment, was that I couldn't afford how much money they wanted up front, before they would do anything to help me. I had insurance, and my son was going to co-sign, so I could get the help I needed, and they still wouldn't accept that. I am so confused, because they don't seem to care at all. Why can't Aspen just help, like they promise on their sight, instead of having us come in for x-rays, consultations, and then watch you walk out the door, confused and hurt, wondering why they wouldn't help you. It's horrible to think that their only concern was to get me in there to do x-rays and everything else on my first visit, just to charge my insurance company, and turn me away, because I couldn't afford to pay for what I needed to be done. Horrible from start to finish. They just don't care about people at all, just money. This place is just an assembly line designed to get as much money out of you as possible with no concern whatsoever for the patient at all. Don't bother telling them what you want or need, they don't care at all. So bad that I'm not sure what they did to me is even legal. Can a dentist perform tests on a patient that specifically refused those tests? X-ray against a patient's wishes? Over an hour of unneccessary, useless diagnostics that a patient doesn't want? Just horrible. Went to try and get a regular cleaning & they quoted me $1000 for a "gingivitis treatment", ran my credit & ended up sending me a CREDIT CARD I did not want! I'm from New York and will be flying back to my regular dentist and STILL pay less than half of what Aspen was charging! My dentist of over 20 years retired. I needed to find a Dentist and office that I felt comfortable and trusted. One visit and I felt completely at home and comfortable! The staff is friendly and happy! From the receptionist Karen to X-ray tech Cheyenne! Then came Monica the hygienist to check out my teeth and review my x-rays and go over them with me. I was then introduced to Dr. Vanja Cosic. I told her I didn't want all my teeth pulled and dentures. She laughed and let me know exactly what I needed...WOW! Charged only $19.00 for my visit. I even got to get my cleaning done a couple hours later this same day!! This is a very happy office, the atmosphere is reflected in the employees being happy where they work. The office Mgr , Shauna was on top of it as well!! Being able to make sure I was getting done what I needed and able to set up a payment plan if I needed. It was very refreshing to be able to find my new Dentist and the Happy office staff today!! read more

I'm not very happy with Aspen Dental. I was in alot of pain for almost two weeks after my extractions I had 8. Pain management was very poor. My temporary doesnt fit and I have sore spots and they cant get me in for 2 weeks. Did I mention I'm in a post operative period and I had to pay upfront becaused I used a credit card.. I paid in advance for work yet to be received. It was more expensive for my work then my husband and he had full extraction and dentures. They pulled more then 8 teeth and made a temporary and permanent dentures full mouth for him. Im still having pain as well... I dont understand how I go in for one tooth and walk out 4,000 poorer then I walked in I have dental insurance as well 6,300 was my total. Ramsey the dental hygienist was friendly, gentle and excellent!! We are new patients and very thorough. Prices are comparable to other dentists. We also learned not to use Crest because it stains your teeth. Dentist was very friendly and efficient. Scheduling appts weren't too bad even with very difficult kids school schedules. read more

I have to say I will be switching dentists. I called today and the staff is real nice (only reason for the two stars) Yet she could not schedule a teeth cleaning for less then 9 months out. Really? Then said I should have scheduled when I came in 6 months ago in March. Which I don't remember being asked and if they would have let me know BTW we will have to schedule you out a year from now I would have said yes. Also my filling in my tooth feel out watching TV last night from the appointment in March not sure if that was my fault as well. I also had a issue with them getting an appointment last year before my benefits ran out. Granted I missed my appointment but they did not remind me and it was scheduled 6 months from the original date. So I am done with them. read more

He calmed my nerves and was gentle, efficient and did a great job. He discussed my options and listened to my concerns. Needless to say, Dr M was fabulous! I went in with a lot of pain and got out (after 2 hours!!!) with a pain killer shot, a ton of x-rays, and a projected treatment for about $12,000 (the dr. recommended extractions for teeth that can be saved, I was told that I might choose denture if I don't have the money for implants)... However, several hours later the pain came back and I went to see another dentist: I needed an extraction (it immediately solved my pain and it hasn't returned after 3 days); most of the recommended extractions and implants were not needed. I should pay, at most, $4,000 to fix my dental issue. Bottom line: the staff was very courteous, the doctor tried to be nice (I wish he would've be honest, also), the reason for my visit was not resolved and I felt talked into spending a lot of money without a real reason. I am never going back to this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. read more

I brought my fiance here after they treated our daughter very well. I cant stress enough the depths of his anxiety after having a horrendous experience several years before at another dental office. It left him with, what I can only describe as, PTSD. So, this office had its work cut out for them! He needed an extensive amount of work done and this office treated him with the utmost patience and professionalism. They controlled his pain, which controlled his anxiety. From start to finish they kept him comfortable and never once made him feel guilty for putting it off. They were down to earth and treated him with respect. This is the most ridiculous dental place i have ever been to. I went there to see if they would extract my wisdom tooth, which was 95% through the gum. They did an oral exam that lasted 2 and a half hours and never addressed the problem i came in for until the last half hour. When i asked them what about the wisdom tooth they stated, and i quote "it's almost 6o'clock and we close at 6, so we need to make another appointment". I was so mad, and when i went to check out with the office manager, she told me that extraction was going to be $745.00. What a joke. I would never go back there or recommend them to anybody. They are a rip off. Stay with your small local dentist. They will treat you much better, that's what i did and i was very satisfied with the place i ended up going to. read more

Coz it is, they will charge you $20 for initial examination but once you start treatment that's when they butcher you like hungry hyena. Full deep clean cost ? $1500 (it also includes a $120 brush which you were never told about) 4 cavities $250 each ( there were only 2 small cavities, another way to rip you off) 2 unnecessary extraction $350 each . So my total with price guarantee = $3200 off which half needs to be paid in order to get appointment ( credit is also available so you don't have a chance to run away) & appointment is next day . Thank god I checked with another excellent dentist. Just guess how much it costed me everthing above - extractions? $519.00.
