my first encounter with Aspen was about 9 years ago . I was in need of several extracts in preparation for dentures. I was satisfied with the results but followup care was non exhistant. I was sent home with a toothbrush and denture cleaner/adhesive but never told that dentures required ongoing maintenence when I returned 4 years later because the dentures were slipping, I was told I was in need of a realign of both dentures. the procedures were not inexpensive and even though I was provided a 20% veteran's discount for my original dentures, the discount was lowered to 10%. I was bold faced lied to when they said they never provided a 20% discount I was also told that I could only have one realign and that a new pair of dentures would have to be needed. I have since learned that this is also a bold face lie I don't think any of this is an oversight or a mere error. I believe their business model is to deceive their patients so that they end up paying for products and services that are not needed Another major issue is that because of constant staff turnover, there is little continuity of care I will not be returning to Aspen read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Aspen Dental in Jensen Beach is hands-down the worst dental experience I've ever had in my 50+ years of existence, and people need to be warned before they walk through their doors. THIS IS A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION. I called ahead and made it clear that I only needed a simple cleaning. We're leaving the country soon, and this was my only window to get it done. They said no problem, just come in. When I arrived, suddenly I'm told I "have to" do a full exam and X-rays first, but don't worry, the exam is "free." Fine, whatever, let's get it over with so I can get my cleaning. Instead, they ran me through a random circus of X-rays, head scans, and 3D imaging, like they were building a NASA mission file instead of checking my teeth. Then they poked around and announced I had some gum pockets, which I've known about for twenty years. Nothing new. They recommend antibiotics. Fine. I ask for the price. Nobody knows. "Someone else will go over that later." Red flag? After almost an hour of this nonsense, they finally march me to a desk. That's when the scam drops: They want over FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS for pocket antibiotics. Not a typo. Not a misunderstanding. $4,000. I tell them absolutely not. I just need my cleaning. And this is where they reveal their true colors: "We can't clean your teeth unless you accept the full treatment plan." Translation: Pay us $4,000 or leave with dirty teeth. This is a disgusting way to treat people, and I genuinely believe this place is a criminal enterprise. They wasted my time, lied by omission, and tried to force me into thousands of dollars of unnecessary procedures just to get a cleaning. I walked out. I read the old reviews but so grateful I took a chance with Aspen. I needed a dentist for SEVERE emergency pain. Was so glad they could take me in the same day. I got there and they didn't make me wait for the later time. They didn't make me talk either. They immediately started taking x-rays. After x-rays, they had the dental hygienist come in. Yes - their cash rates are high but all medical facilities worth their salt have significant out of pocket rates. I told them that I only wanted to focus on the extraction for now and the cost including putting me tf out was only 1K. For oral surgery?!? I was like, I can pay now?!? - Thank you God! Now - scheduling was important. I couldn't wait two weeks. They tried referring me out but those rates were crazy. Then they asked if I was willing to go to a satellite office to meet their oral surgeon sooner. I was like... I'll travel to Texas baby. This pain is costing me time and money. So they got me with a satellite office for the next day. The appointment is for tomorrow. I will update or do another review after but the timing is perfect. They couldn't do anything right that moment for the pain. But they put in 2 prescriptions for pain and antibiotics. Guess what?!? Because they let me know exactly what was wrong - I decided to believe them. While waiting on the prescription- I intentionally cleared out everything out of the problem tooth. They were VERY informative during the visit and let me know that the cavity was touching a nerve. I decided right then to not eat anything until after the appointment but didn't wait. I cleared out the tooth intentionally and the pain is gone! Doc was right. That one tooth was affecting the others and thank God that it will be gone tomorrow. I'm actually going to eat now and clear it out again intentionally in preparation for tomorrow's surgery. Fasting at least 8 hours before was recommended. All and all - From the x-ray tech to the outgoing consult - all four staff members I dealt with were very professional and considerate of my pain. The payment lady even recommended I get help with the payment despite the fact that I have low credit. I was I pre-approved for a small amount but that was money I kept in my pocket. Win! She was very positive and reminded me to get back to my usual positivity despite the pain. 5/5! read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Too many bad things to list, but here are three: 1. Crowns do not match adjacent teeth--not even close. Spent thousands of dollars and this is what I got. 2. Was charged a ridiculous amount for a "special cleaning" that took less than an hour. $25 a minute for a session with a dental hygienist. 3. Took advantage of my painful emergency situation and I found out later that one of the root canals I received and was charged for was not needed. Their prices are higher than the dental practice I found later--sad that a patient has to worry about being taken advantage of when in pain and facing significant and expensive procedures--often without insurance. You make an appointment in person, They send emails that you have that appointment, you confirm again over the phone, to show up and they tell you you don't have an appointment!!! This has happened to me TWICE!!! I ordered a very expensive mouth guard a YEAR ago after being pressured into it and they messed it up THREE times and it's still not ready!!! Today, my appointment was supposed to be for nine am and I've been waiting for four hours to be seen. Four hours. It's given me plenty of time to find another Dentist though. read more

Overcharged, given a $1200 special cleaning that took less than an hour, and taken advantage of during an emergency in which I would have signed anything to get out of the pain I was in from an abscess. The final indignity was two crowns that were optic white next to natural teeth that were many shades different. I have to redo those crowns or pay for expensive whitening that still can't bring natural teeth to that awful toilet bowl color. Tried to reach the owner many times, either ignored or had to talk to an office staffer who had no idea of what was going on. The worst ever. Free xrays and exam, but both my wife and I were told we need thousands of dollars in periodontal work. Previous year, an (honest) Aspen Dental office told us no periodontal work was needed, as well as did a local dentist we went to for a second opinion after this office gave us this outrageous estimate. I went in for a cleaning and I told them I only had an hour... they made me wait, get multiple test ran for the cleaning, then told me that there was no one there that could do the cleaning. Even though there were multiple people standing around doing nothing... Apparently none of them had ever cleaned teeth before. I went to aspen dental on July 31 2018. I paid them 16000.They pulled my teeth then.with in a week I was in excruciating pain, they left a bone chip in my gums. Four months later they put in simypost in one fell out. So I had to wait four more months for them to put it back in in the meantime I'm in dental pain. They made my dentures and it took three sets to get it close to being right.I fired them after 2 1.2 years of pain.out of 7 post 5 fell out. I understand that USA is one of most expensive places for dental work and I have use dentist in USA before and find few good places ... this by far is the worst I have ever been ... my appointment was 3 did not get in until 4 the x-rays took for ever and was so uncomfortable and painful..... the prices ... oh well I hope everyone will do there research before they decide to spend any money here ... if they do good work or not I can't tell because I would never allow them to do any work on me but funny thing is 4 months ago I have done some fillings and I was told I have cavities there .. I paid upfront for dental work from the beginning this office has been a nightmare they refused to fix a problem that I paid for. Poor customer service. Aspen review 07/14/2020 I WILL NEVER GO BACK! This facility is a revolving door for staff. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing! Make an appointment and then sit there for an hour waiting - when you ask whats going on they all look at each other with blank stares. I've HAD to go back there for years to have them continually fix the 2016 Comfy-fits. The bottoms broke at the locators 4 times, (the locators were, in my opinion set too close to the surface in the first place). The tops literally split right down the middle while I was at a memorial, (embarrassing to say the least). Each repair is done with metal lath, the color of dark metal lath that shows through the denture. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Consider yourself warned. read more

I would never recommend Stuart or Pt. St. Lucie Florida Aspen Dental. My experience has been a nightmare from the beginning. My first red flag was when I went in to have my teeth cleaned and the girl came in to do impressions. Pours the goop and I asked her what she was doing, told her I had done impressions the week before I was there for a cleaning. She was so surprised. Not to mention was quoted $9,000.00 to complete my dental work. Day of surgery was handed a bill for $14,000. Of which $9,000.00 was already paid. I refused to sign it wanted to meet with Dr. Delarosa the one who quoted me that price. It has now been over a year and after repeated attempts to meet with him. Staff keeps blowing me off. But lets state the facts of my shabby work. They put an implant in and since day one I've had something sticking out of my gum. Not one dentist I've seen and that would be 3, 4 if we count the surgeon can tell me what it is. It now is wearing through my gum and I still cannot get Dr. Delarosa to call me. Not to mention how uncomfortable it is because the piece they made for me to wear does not fit correctly so it rubs on the bump. I had another implant that was done by another dentist it just needed to be completed. All they needed to do was put the post in and then the tooth. First they had the wrong size post. had to reschedule, finally put it in waited the required 3 weeks should now be fitted with the permanent post but they could not get the first post out, had to reschedule. go back put permanent post in now have to wait another 3 weeks again. Now the tooth should be put in. It took 4 separate visit for them to get the color and size right. They kept having to send it back to the lab to redo. In the beginning I was given colors to chose from. My teeth are white I wanted the implant to match. Every sample they gave me was yellow and I was told if I wanted white i would have to pay for it. The most ridicules thing I had ever heard. They finally said they would try to match and not uncharge. Because i made such a fuss. Every time I had to reschedule it was time away from work. I could go on and on with what I've gone through there. I have posted to social media and you cannot believe the amount of responses claiming the same bait and switch tactic and shabby work others claim. It's unbelievable. All the same story. I have tried working with two separate office manger until recently after much frustration because I was not getting a call back from Dr. Delarosa (Owner) one of the office managers says to me " I don't know what to tell you anymore I have repeatedly spoken to Dr. Delarosa about your case and short of dialing your number and handing him the phone I don't know what to do. WOW!! And just to mention that $9,000.00 did not come easy for me to come up with. I have waited so long to get this work done to only be screwed. read more

This has to be the WORST dental office in the USA on our first visit they were so nice and promised the world to us between my wife and my self over $5500 in dental services we signed all the papers and charged the dental bill after that it went down hill from there many appointments we changed or cancelled a few times we got there and were told they tried to call us. The office staff is very nice until you ask questions and the office manager is a joke I got dentures that don't fit right after three adjustments we were told that was the best they could fit them asked for money back that's when things got interesting my wife also was suppose to get invisalin to fix gap in her front teeth was told two to three weeks after 1 month I called them was told they were having trouble with supplier we told them forget them because of problems with my dentures and to issue a refund to credit card the office manager James said ok. Two months later still no credit called again James said the invisalin were there to come in for a fitting I said no we were told we would get a refund for them he said we had to pay for them because they already paid out of there pocket I called aspen dental corp. in Syracuse NY They said they would try to take care of it but had no control of privately owned dental offices. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the gentle care I was given by the staff and dentists at this location. I needed a lot of work done and everyone was absolutely wonderful. First this review is from what my partner of 12 years experienced each time we visited Aspen Dental. The first appt. we were taken on time and promised everything; there was nothing the dentist couldn't do. Before signing the contract and gave a huge deposit we were promised a 2 week delivery even given appointments to insure this delivery time. We were also told there was a money back guarantee,no questions asked. It was downhill from there....all previous scheduled appointments were cancelled. All future appointments we waited over an hour each time. In the end the dentures were delivered over a month later and did not fit and could not be worn. On the following Monday we called for an appointment to get an adjustment and we're told they were overbooked, which they are overbooked daily. After lengthily conversations with the manager we asked for a refund but was given a run around on that issue also. Now we have spent over 3000. On dentures that are about to go in the garbage. This review is not telling you not to patronize this establishment only to alert you to our experience. We also posted a review on Aspen Dental's website but it has yet to be published. The only reviews on there website are 5 stars reviews; that should have been our first clue on what to expect. read more

If I could give them NO stars I would. The receptionist and staff are pleasant enough but EXTREMELY unorganized and the office manager is no better. I have been trying since JUNE 2016 to get false teeth. I have had my records changed after they put in that they did pins (they hadn't) and other procedures which all lead to delays in getting my teeth. If I hadn't called back I would have never had the chance to find out they didn't fit properly and now an additional $3500.00 which now means I have spent around $8000 vs the 3500 we started with. They call and try to switch your appointments without advising your not seeing your doctor and if you want to be seen you have to suck it up and deal with what they give you. HORRIBLE PLACE RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

If I could give them half a star I would. The receptionist and staff are pleasant enough. It is just that they appear to have a habit of padding their bill by adding procedures and they can not even take care of all procedures at one location. Went it about a year ago and was told I needed two root canals by the doctor. When I went back to get the procedure the "next" Doctor said one root canal and the other can easily be fixed by a filling. Six months of cold sensitivity and yet a third doctor wants me to drive about 30 miles to get tests to see if I needed the second root canal after all and "insisted" that I have the tests before they would consider the root canal. Tests cost about $165.00 then travel to get the root canal for another $675.00 and oh by the way we will have to do a crown for ??? Dollars after. Could all have been averted by just doing the second root canal in the first place which I was prepared for. Collected my records, cancelled all future appointments and said "Good Bye!" More procedures equals more $$$$$ I guess. read more

I made the appointment telling them I had a broken tooth and that I'm a truck driver and only get home every few months. When I got there they took xray's and they did a exam. The tooth that was broken had a infection so they just wanted to pull it even though it was connected to a bridge, then they wanted to pull of a cap because it had some build up around it and put a new one on...... not just clean it. Then after the exam they said they said I had some cavities they wanted to fill even though they couldn't see them on the xray....... I was not going to let drill into teeth that they couldn't find anything wrong with on the xray's. They didn't even give me a prescription for the infection since I would not let them pull it. Warning! Do not go to Aspen Dental. Three of my family members including me took off from school/work to go to the "confirmed" appointments. On the day that we were supposed to go, I called them to make sure I had the time correct and they told me that they cancelled the appointments because they no longer accepted my insurance. I called my insurance company and they said they had no record of them cancelling my insurance. Aspen had even confirmed our appointments two days earlier by phone!
