He made me so comfortable with dental work that I never understood why other people were afraid of the dentist. Then I moved away from the midcoast and had to find another one and finally understood, as no one has ever made me feel as comfortable as he and his office does. When I was home from college and needed an emergency appointment, he easily worked with my Mom to get me in. When I had to get crowns, he worked with me so that I could get the temporary ones over thanksgiving and then came back at Christmas for the permanent ones. My parents still go see him and are dreading the day he retires. If possible with my insurance, I'm going to work a way back into seeing him. His wife runs the front desk and is so kind. I've enjoyed talking with all the dental hygienists through the years, and most have stayed for many years, always another good sign. There is street parking in the front. It's a residential street in Rockland so it's not hard to find a space.

I was told when I rescheduled that it was okay, and that they were extending the 1 year deadline for getting the 2 appointments in because they were so short staffed and booking out so far. I talked with them on the phone another time and they told me the same thing. I showed up today for my appointment (second healthy smiles club appointment), only to have them tell me that since I rescheduled my previous appointment they would not honor my healthy smiles club and I would have to pay out of pocket, because this appointment is past the 1 year deadline. I told them that I was told multiple times that this appointment would be covered as my second healthy smiles club appointment since they were booking out so far, and they said multiple times that it was their mistake for not telling me, however they said I would still have to pay. I asked them why I have to pay if it was their mistake, and they had no good answer and were unwilling to compromise. So basically, they lied and stole from me. I spoke to the receptionist (who was very kind) however the manager was very rude. I asked to speak with Dr. Landry but she would not even come out to talk to me. I left without an appointment because I am definitely not giving them any more of my money and am switching to a new dentist!

I have had no pain or complications even after some of the more complex procedures and the results of their work look and feel great.
