Great spot to stop on our road trip. Lots of locals seemed to also think it was a good place too. Colorado themed place which is cute altho unusual for central Illinois. We had great service from Ky. The food was also very good: black & blue steak wrap and grilled tenderloin sandwich. My husband said the tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Both items came with a side and we picked salads. The salads were a nice size! The only thing that did bother me about our lunch here was the table top was sticky- which is common after having repeated cleaning with disinfectants. Not sure if there is an easy solution but it would be good for manager to investigate that IMHO. read more

We eat there every week. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. My husband loves the catfish dinner and I get the steak fajitas tacos. They have specials on Tuesday that keep us coming back. read more

First time at your establishment came for lunch on a Sunday Celebrating my Brothers Graduation. Environment was very family oriented and very clean. Our waitress was so nice and hospitality she had great suggestions on the menu. My partner got to watch the Yankees game after we asked if they can change a channel on one of the tv which was greatly appreciated. When I say I enjoyed everything I had to eat here. The pow wow shrimp were the best I've ever had that sauce the crispiness. The ribs had a great rib and loved the smokiness. I'd never explored this corner off campus west of the Assembly Hall arena, but after a big Sunday basketball game, the family was able to get a table and a good meal when everything in Campustown was packed with long wait lists. The sweet chicken wrap was good. The food came out quickly. This is a skiing themed bar and restaurant in central Illinois. One of the flattest places in earth! But it's an upscale sports bar, with a bazillion TVs showing games, and it was warm on a cold rainy day. I also appreciate the efforts of the young lady with Down's syndrome who was bussing the tables. As soon as a table was empty, she got out cleaned up quickly to get people seated. Generally speaking, this is a chain sports bar with a ski themed. Is that a problem? Not really. If you just want to find somewhere cozy to watch a game or two, this is the place. Its got standard American food, but a few different twists like a buffalo burger. I got that and it was probably one of the better buffalo burgers I have had in awhile. We arrived at 455 and were seated immediately. We waited 15 minutes before we had a server to the table. There were less than a half dozen tables seated. The server had an attitude as soon as she asked if we wanted drinks and we said we were ready if she was. The truffle fries came out after 13 minutes and were lukewarm, but had a really good flavor. My salad came out after 17 min, but hubby's didn't come out until after the food came. I said thank you every time Kyesha brought something, and she just turned around and walked off. Perhaps she was just having an off day, I don't know. We still left her a 20% tip. The salads were a large portion. I wanted to ask for more dressing though, but didn't. Our server was horrible, full stop. Food was good, no complaints, but that server was horrible. Place wasn't that busy, it was just after 5pm on a Thursday, and I saw other servers interacting with their tables, but ours acted basically indifferent to our table. The food was good! However, the table was sticky to the point that all 4 diners forearms stuck to the table. I requested a hot rag with soap to wash and the waitress said it was the finish on the wood table! She did not ever attempt to mitigate this. I'm sorry but a complaint should be addressed. Visited here while in town for the night. It was a good spot to please everyone in the family. We were able to hold a spot in line on yelp, so that is awesome & we got seated right as we walked in. Pretty busy for a Friday night so I would recommend trying that if you can. Tons of drinks on tap to try or cocktails. lots of delicious foo options. Service was quick & friendly. Tried the Aspen Tap House last night with my daughter. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers. The nachos with chicken which were good. The fried pickles that were really thin not allowing you to really taste any pickle. Lastly we had the cheese curds. Overall not bad at all. A large beer selection which I didn't have a chance to sample but maybe I will at another time. The place has lots of tvs and probably is a great place to watch the games. The bar looked nice but didn't get a chance to check it out. Service was good even though we were the only people in the fireplace room at the time. read more

I haven't had a pork tenderloin sandwich in a very long time and was very glad to have one here. I had waffle fries (yummy) and my sister had the onion rings (yummy) and enjoyed both! Us five guys tried the variety, found top notch sandwiches, easy to eat burgers, dull chicken tenders, and average Mac n cheese which surprised. How can one make Mac n cheese average? We guessed they need to double the cheese variety because our friends make better stuff. In this city of Kraft crap, we expected superior cheese and noddles. Also very odd was busting the keg on a red ale but still getting charged for it, so odd! No way to service but Illinois isn't so keen on fair finances these days, about excused the lack of tact upon the fried cheesecake, it was good! My bison burger needed a some richer cheese and arugula. The others finished their fare quickly especially the paddy melt. I really enjoyed my experience here. The server was excellent the greeting at the entrance was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent from the soup to the entrees. You have to have the Truffle fries when you go. I had a Bourbon Hemingway as a drink and it was one of the better bourbon drinks I have had recently. My food was superb. The only thing keeping me from a five star review is where they seated our party. It was busy and we did get seated right away which was good. However, they seated us right next to the servers key in area which meant lots of traffic from servers and for me at least took away from this experience. My suggestion would be to lose that one table. read more

The burger and the chicken were okay, but the chips and the bun were just so ordinary. The service was good tho, they were so helpful and friendly. We ate here with friends from out of town. The beer list is one of the major pros of this place. Lots of options and something for everyone. But that's where the positives end. The food was barely mediocre. We had buffalo chicken dip. It was rather soupy. The chicken was nearly pureed not shredded. So it made me think it came out of a can. I ordered the wings and they were so dry. The "sweet and spicy" sauce was all sweet no spice. The service was good and attentive. This is a great spot to watch a game at the bar, but don't go here if you are expecting average to above average food. read more
