DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not honor their warranty. They installed my driveway to slope back to my garage, causing the rain water to enter my garage. I guess I cannot update my one review below. Angelo came out with his crew this week and cut portions out that needed to go and repaired them and laid the 2nd layer down the whole pad and driveway. They did an excellent job and built up the layer so I have lots of asphalt down now. He did this at his own expense. It looks great and I am sure it will last the 20 -30 years that it should with regular sealing maintenance. As with every driveway job you still have to get some crushed 21AA or any other gravel, dirt, etc. to level the edges to your asphalt to the lawn or whatever it may be. This way you will not crush the edges if you drive over it. My drive was a 9,000 Sqft job. It was a big job. read more

My neighbor had a new driveway put in so i gave Asphalt Express a call for a quote on resealing my driveway. The quote was reasonable so I had them schedule the job. The guys came out and had it done in short order. They did a great job on my driveway and also left the place nice and clean. I will definitely be using them the next time. Oh, I almost forgot. No. No. No. waited several months to get our driveway paved. The work kept getting pushed back. Then they came, did the work and we're gone in no time. Days later we found a crack. Then another. Our neighbors had their driveway done at the same time. They've got puddles in their driveway and it wasn't graded properly. Also they were supposed to do some sealcoating. That also wasn't done. My neighbor and wife keep contacting the company and we have no faith they will come back to fix the issues. We are also wondering how thick the asphalt is as we have already had weeds pop up in the asphalt. Very disappointed in the workmanship and lack of concern to fix. Hopefully something changes soon. read more

Be very careful with this company. I received a quotation for asphalt capping the approaches and sealing the parking lots. Six weeks later the work has not commenced. I have spoken to the owner many times and each time it is a new excuse. I would be done with them after the second excuse if not for the substantial deposit I've made. I've been promised my deposit back but am not holding my breath. I hope they have a little integrity and just pay me my deposit back. I did finally receive my deposit back. read more

I don't like commenting on the poor work, but something needs to be said about Asphalt Express. If you're like me, a driveway is not only a financial commitment but also an addition to the look of your home. Asphalt Express was very eager to get you to sign up for their services, but impossible to get in contact with if you're not satisfied with their work. I tried dozens of time to call both the owners cell phone and his office, that is actually an answering service. I left a message almost every time I called. I NEVER received a return call in three weeks of trying. I even went to his business address, his home, and spoke to his wife. One factor in why I think the job was unsatisfactory was that the asphalt was laid by hand and not with a paving machine. He said it needed a part, but did my driveway anyway. The results were very uneven and crooked edges, a lumpy surface that puddles everywhere, and loose asphalt that you can kick up with your foot. Visually it is one of the poorest paving job I've ever seen and it was and is falling apart the very day after it was put down. I absolutely do not recommend this company based on the results of the work and the attention paid to the customer after they finish. read more

From start to finish Angelo was great and made sure he was the first on the job and last guy to leave. We personally walked the driveway and made sure I had no issues. my driveway and walkway was not done as quoted so it was necessary for them to return several times. a horrible job was done even after serveral calls / attempts were made with no improvement. they were supposed to do seal coating 5 months ago and nothing has been done. they are a rip off. do not use them. nothing but broken promises, bad workmanship and no professionalism. read more
