I went back to Dr. Takei last year for some joint problems and he not only helped to relieve some of my pain but also helped me in learning to understand what could be causing my joint inflammation. I've been to Orthopedists, Physical therapy, chiropractors and even had surgery but I got more out of my treatments at the Center and Dr. Takei then any of the others. He addressed issues that had never been discussed or reviewed by other doctors, treated the discomfort and gave me a much better understanding of how to avoid future problems. I can't say enough good things about him and would never hesitate to recommend him.

I came to Ben with gestational diabetes and Sciatica. I've been testing my blood glucose levels every day now. My husband who was diagnosed Pre-diabetes later joined me for treatment with Dr Ben. Since then, I have taken my Hb-A1c test. Blood has a glucose memory of about 2 to 3 months. And the test shows the aggregate score of glucose. The results were fantastic, showing that I had a normal (on the lower side) reading of 4.9. My husband has also been on the same diet prescribed by Dr Ben. He started out with readings of over 360 for certain meals and now, his fasting readings have come as low as 140 to 150 in a short span of a few weeks. The key was that what looked like diabetes was really inflamation. This is only a part of what really goes on during each consultation. There is a deep dive into your health history, some part is related to geneology and for me, Dr Ben looked into X-rays of my spine to understand the Sciatica better. I've lived in Asia for a large part of my life and have not had someone who was able to blend eastern and western medicine as well as Dr Ben. I highly recommend him if you have any ailment. Dishonest Billing and Unethical Practices…read more I would strongly caution anyone considering Wholelife Chiropractic. My experience--and the experience of others--shows a disturbing pattern of misleading billing, surprise charges, and unprofessional behavior. I was charged over double during a lawsuit--$105 per visit for the same care I later received for $50. I was also billed $100 for exercises that were emailed to me with a link to youtube I was never told this was a billable charge. They refused to let me use my insurance-covered visits saying insurance doesn't cover wellness visits, which is not true. This practice feels predatory--taking advantage of people in difficult situations. Other reviewers had similar issues with surprise bills and insurance miscommunication. Be careful. I was even able to view another patient's statement that they are suing, and the billing codes are the same however our charges are not. Seems very shady.
