I had a truly smooth experience with Dr.Thomas Mueller and his staff, both clinical and administrative. The reminder calls and call backs were handled quickly and with necessary information. I had several questions and concerns which were answered professionally and double checked with other clinical staff if confirmation was needed. The experience of my initial consult was very informative and my Husband was allowed to accompany me to hear what was said and to ask questions that I may not have thought of to ask. Julie in billing was very easy to work with and explained their processes and insurance exclusions to us. I had a special insurance situation which she checked into for me and called me right away with the answers that were needed for my procedure. The procedure itself was painless as Dr. Mueller's staff made certain I had the necessary pain, anxiety and antibiotics called into my Pharmacy ahead of time. Dr. Mueller was very skilled and efficient during the surgery and it did not take long at all. I had a gum graft with skin taken from the roof of my mouth. Naomi and Shelby were very knowledgeable and efficient in their assistance to Dr. Mueller. Natalie was there from the start and took the impressions of my mouth so that I would have my mouth guards (2 to choose from) after my surgery. They answered my questions and gave me specialized instructions for my home care during my recovery time. They were both very friendly and empathetic which goes a long way during this sort of procedure. They also took care of my initial post-op and gave another set of instructions for the remainder of my specialized mouth protection and oral care. My second post-op went very well and Dr. Mueller came in to check out his work and my mouth and gum recovery. He gave a good report on my healing time. Never have I had such a thorough, well informed evaluation and treatment like that in my long history of dental visits. I obviously was not excited about the thought of tissue graft surgery, but after my evaluation with Dr. Mueller I was very thoroughly informed on what to expect before, during, and after; I felt 100% confident I was in the right place, and eager to get things going. 5+ years later Dr. Mueller approached MY FATHER, (Who is also a patient and was there for His Own Personal Appointment.) about my scathing review here on Yelp and was apparently fairly upset/ aggressive about it. Personally I feel like approaching my Father was absolutely inappropriate. He HAS my contact information. He easily could have spoken to me directly if he had something to address all these years later. And to you, Dr. Mueller; Next time you feel like a review was uncalled for, maybe reconsider your approach to the situation. Because harassing my father, who literally has/ had NOTHING to do with my review or my experience as a patient was simply unprofessional imo. My father is in his 70s and doesn't need nor deserve the unnecessary stress. read more

I am at the final stages of my treatment with Dr. Tom. I have completed my extraction, bone graft and placement of the metal implant, this required two oral surgeries. I am really pleased so far. I think I am dealing with the Best oral surgeon. The implant process is expensive, it's my front tooth and I know it is going to be done right. The team is really working with me on the financial piece, trying to cut some costs. I would highly recommend Dr. Thomas Mueller if you need an implant. The staff, office, financial and dental are very caring, highly skilled and professional. I really enjoy going to my appointments, and I don't really like going to the dentist. read more

We recently moved to Corvallis and I had to find a new periodontist. I started going to Dr. Tom Meuller and couldn't believe the difference from my previous perio cleanings. So much more thorough than before. The front desk staff is always friendly when I arrive and they get me right in to my appointments. I recently had to have surgery and everything went so smoothly. I was amazed at the care I was given afterwords, a follow up call to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I had very bad PTSD from previous dental experiences, to the point where my blood pressure would rocket every time I'd cross the threshold of a dental office. While my logical self was fine, my body would scream "no friggn' way!!" So I kept putting off gum grafting for years. Dr. Tom and his staff are very professional. The diagnosis, cost, and appointments for treatment were all done at my exam appointment! They were all careful to answer all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Tom even called me after my surgery to check on me and answer my questions.
