Update to my previous review. -----------------------…read moreI hate to give this place a bad review because they have a great hygienist in Denise, but do not go to Dr. Khanpara if you're suffering from tooth-related pain. Last year during a routine examination, I complained that I had a minor toothache in an old crown. X-ray showed that I had a minor infection. I was sent home and didn't think anything of it. I thought it would go away on its own. Days later, I started feeling more pain, so before things got any worse, I went back to the office and saw Dr. Khanpara. I told her about my tooth pain and about the infection, and I asked her to prescribe antibiotics to make sure that the infection didn't get any worse, but she refused to do so. She just told me to take painkillers and see an endodontist. I couldn't see the endodontist for a few days because they didn't have an appointment available, but I was in so much pain the next day that I went to another dentist who took a look at my tooth, saw the infection, and the first thing she did was prescribe antibiotics. Sure enough, within a day the toothache was gone, which made the wait for the endodontist somewhat tolerable. Cut to last week when my wife had the same thing happen to her. She went to see Dr. Khanpara complaining of a toothache. They took X-rays and found that she had an infection in an old crown. My wife was in a lot of pain, but instead of prescribing pain medication or an antibiotic, she was sent home because she didn't have a fever. But my wife didn't have a fever because she had been taking Tylenol, which may have been masking the fever. Dr. Khanpara even told her that antibiotics wouldn't make any difference with the pain! My wife was in so much pain that she went to see another dentist the very next day, who again saw what was wrong and immediately prescribed antibiotics. And the same thing happened: her pain was gone the next day, and now she's ok to wait until she sees an endodontist to treat her crown. I don't know if this is company policy not to prescribe antibiotics or if this is a personal issue Dr. Khanpara has against antibiotics, but I don't think she's ever suffered from a toothache. It's either that or she lacks basic human compassion. Safe to say that we will never be going back.

Donna the hygienist was outstanding. She was animated, fun, interactive and thorough in explaining the process to my daughter, step by step. Dr. Brandon Ladeau was, as usual; kind, compassionate and very informative in explaining how adolescent teeth and hygiene impact adult teeth. He explained the importance of proper or hygiene to my daughter. I have been a patient for 3 years now and each visit has been better than the last. I never expected to feel so passionate about expressing how impressed I have been with a dental practice. They are honest, professional, pleasant and personalize the experience for each patient. My mom and I have been patients of Dr. Wagner's (Moeckel's business partner) for more than 15 years and he is one of the most caring health care providers I have ever met. I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Moeckel as well during the times when Dr. Wagner is away and she shares his warmth and dedication to their patients. The entire staff is positive, friendly and kind - and it's genuine, not forced. That kind of mutual respect & regard is cultivated by great management and compassion - Dr. Wagner, Dr. Moeckel and their entire staff from the front desk to the dental chair deserve kudos and more for their impressive work. And while I've waxed poetic about their personal touch, it's important to mention that they are precise and committed to getting it right. After suffering a recent "dental emergency", I had the occassion to interact with many different members of the staff - each one was careful and patient at every step from drilling to creating a temporary crown (they took great pains to make sure the color would match my teeth and it's only a temporary fix!). Dr Robbins is great, does technically wonderful work, and has all the modern tools in his office, and handles emergency issues on a same day basis and is reachable after hours. The hygienist I see (Molly) has the gentlest touch of any I have ever been treated by. He has a 100% on time record for my appointments. I believe this is currently a single dentist practice. The other dentist (Portnoy) listed on their website has moved out of state and retired.
