The cutest little stop on the way to Assateague Island! Loved the produce, decor, and of course the Goats!

Sinepuxent Brewing Company - The goats on premise

The bartenders are friendly, as are the patrons. We even got a crowler to take back to our hotel for the night (it was $16 I believe). If you go when it's daylight, you can see their goats. Unfortunately, it was dark and cold so we rushed back to the car. We'll be back again next year, for certain!

Ample seating outside which is great for beautiful, sunny days and they routinely have live music while we're there. They also host corn hole leagues if you're interested in signing up. During our most recent 4 day stay in Berlin we stopped at Sinepuxent Brewing twice. We tried multiple beers including Brew Cat Stout, Captain's Lager, Big Juicy Van, and NGL. All the brews we tried were very good (nothing I wouldn't have ordered again) but everyone's favorite was First Mate - lager with lime. Definitely the greatest lime flavored beer I've had. So refreshing and perfect for summer. The beertender was also so nice, and he seemed to have no issue conversing with customers and answering our questions. Never once did I get the sense that we were annoying him. They don't offer 4 or 6 packs (we would have loved to take home some smaller cans of the First Mate) but they do fill crowlers upon request. We are heading back to the area from Jersey in a few weeks and I'm already looking forward to stopping back in.

The pet-friendly courtyard had café lights, comfy seating, and '80s soft rock playing--I liked it. Our party agreed that the food was so-so. Vegetarian and gluten-free options like a burrito bowl were available. Loved that their self-serve water was out of a tap with the same handle mechanism as a beer tap! Shocked to find out a martini flight (totaling two drinks' worth of alcohol) was $38! I got one espresso martini instead and it was really a watered-down "latte martini"--sweeter and less coffee flavor than others I've had. Service was neither particularly good nor particularly bad, but overhearing the [manager? owner?] telling a fellow customer that he was "mad at" the bartender for being late to work that morning left a bad taste in my mouth. You shouldn't share your employees'/coworkers' shortcomings or mistakes with customers, and you shouldn't be "mad" at someone for being late to work (because it's not a personal affront, and because everyone is late sometimes). We felt that, while it had a nice atmosphere, we could find better food and drinks not far away.

But it's closed now! We went by today and it's been replaced by the most depressing business ever -- build your own cookie. Who wants a cookie on your way to the beach?? Snowballs. People want snowballs. You don't want to be covered in melting chocolate when the Assateague ponies make a run for it. Hoping that Cool Runnings reopens somewhere else -- it was a gem.

Owned and run by Ms. Kim and her sweet goddaughter, the hubs and I were super excited to run into this place while we were in OC. It was super hot, so we wanted to cool down with a Snoball - we chose half lemon-lime, and half blue raspberry - this was absolutely refreshing and delicious! Not too sweet, and the syrup tasted like it was homemade and it was just the right amount to flavor the ice! If those flavors aren't your thing - no worries! They have a chalkboard that lists an overwhelming number of flavor choices! We also noticed some ice cream made from a local farm, so we purchased 3 tubs to-go (which ended up being super delicious!). There is even a little 'beach' area where you can sit down and enjoy your cold treats. It was a bit of a trip to get there so just give yourself time. We usually go to OCMD late August so it's less crowded, which we love. This was a large crab house that what we're used to in OCMD. The prices here were lower for the AYCE crabs so we were pumped. The crabs were a decent size for the AYCE and you can ask for butter and vinegar. My sister, mom and myself all did the AYCE crabs so they came out 12-13 at a time initially then went down to 8-10. You definitely have to ask for more and they're not as proactive as other places but the food was definitely delicious. I would recommend the trip!

Had to ask for horseradish. They were good, best part of the visit Haddock on the fish and chips was thin. Soft shell crab was cold when it was served. Drinks were reasonable. Tried Crabcake ordered by someone in our party, nothing special, calamari app ordered by another was light and crispy but very small portion for the price compared to other restaurants. This was our first time here after friends were raving. 1 regular size draft, 1 regular size cocktail, 6 oysters, fish &chips sandwich. Soft shells crab sandwich no fries: $72 Underwhelming. We won't be returning. There are better alternatives for the money. And the music? All twangy country western. Not even a little variety. Icing on this mediocre cake.
