    Sausage board
    Melissa B.

Really cute winery setting, with the draw being the outdoor area and live music. Great vibes and location! The food was hit or miss - starting with the good, the sausage board was tasty but more of a snack situation and the flatbread looked delicious (and my family said it tasted delicious too) but they were out of all the gluten free options unfortunately. The cheese board was definitely the biggest disappointment - it was $50 and came out just lumped with cheese and meat on two boards. For the price I was expecting something special with the accompaniments they mentioned but it was one of the most basic boards I've been served. The cheeses were okay and same with the meats, no prosciutto or fruit or really anything to warrant the $50. Bummer since you want cheese with your wine!

Wine, service and ambiance was next level. You must go! Best experience and the home is spectacular. Great girls day out, foursome or bestie time. We had wine flights, the men had beers and the charcuterie board helped set the mood. We went about 2:30pm so it was a beautiful August day and great way to end our week in OC Maryland. Met Pam one of the managers who let me explore the second floor. Thanks you Windmille Creek! Best day ever.

Our new favorite place! Knowledgable bar staff and the wines are incredible for the shore. We've been to others where the wines were bitter. We bought bottles for home and signed up for their wine club! We didn't had food but was eyeing a pork belly sandwich someone else ordered. We will be back for sure! I don't know why I can't check the ambiance box, def 10 stars!

What an absolute Godsend. We are traveling from Virginia Beach up to Connecticut with a 26' U-Haul plus an auto trailer. Finding a place that can accommodate dogs and has ample parking can be tricky especially right off the highway. We were sat in their backyard on a gorgeous June day and enjoyed the sunshine before hitting the road. They also have a GF steak and chocolate torte on their menu! Incredible.

Dessert for 2, which was more than enough for 4.

Incredible experience, and I would highly recommend for a special night out. Our server fully explained the menu options. There was more than enough food for four people. We started with the cheese board and the crab dip. ( more bread or crackers for the crab and cheese board would have been nice) We moved on to the cheese fondue with one skewer of protein per person. 2 chicken and two scallops. My son found the chicken cooked enough, I found it a tad undercooked. The cheese fondue was very good, but I think it was "split" giving it a slightly lumpy texture. There were plenty of potatoes and veggies for four on the platter. We HAD to have dessert, but as stuffed as we were , we ordered for 2. There was more than enough for 4. The melted chocolate was divine!!! We all loved it and will be back again. It was a wonderful evening.

Cute winery in Berlin. Lovely igloo to rent for two hour time slots. Music on weekends. Lovely property.

We came here for a birthday dinner with a reservation on 2/28/2025. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The farmhouse is so pretty and I loved the igloos. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. Our server came quickly and took our drink order. They have a watermelon wine and a blueberry wine that I really enjoyed, and I'm not usually a wine drinker. For dinner we got 2 of the fondues for 2. We got 1 with steak, chicken, and cheddar cheese. The other was shrimp, crab balls, and Gruyère. The steak was really tender but undercooked for my liking. They didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. I'm more of a medium steak kinda gal but I feel like this steak was more on the rare side. The crab balls, shrimp, and chicken were really delicious. The Gruyère cheese had the perfect nutty flavor and the cheddar was nice and sharp. Our waitress was really nice and I liked that they provide blankets. Overall a good experience and the food was good, but I wish they asked how we wanted our steak cooked and I wish they had a larger menu.

An inviting venue that draws you back in time via an estate built in 1858. A circle driveway draws you into the parking area. Well manicured grounds, outside seating areas- under tree groves, in front of, beside, and next to the house. There are intimate spots for a couple or handful of family and friends to sit and sip their favorite Windmill Creek vintage. You'll find surprises (SPOILER ALERT-like tree swings and a wildflower garden to pick from or say sweet nothings to your love!) Inside the home the space is optimized with beautifully designed seating areas that are inviting and intimate! Windmill offers tastings with flights of 5, glass and bottle purchases. They also have wine slushies in Season on the weekend. The Garden Grill food truck on site offered a well curated menu to tempt your palate and fill you while you enjoy your favorite Windmill wine. Windmill Creek Vineyard and Winery offers wine from grapes grown around the country. The server wasn't sure , but believed the Petit petit came from California, the Reisling from NY Finger Lakes, other's potentially from Maryland. The server also wasn't sure about vintages. You'll find wines for all palates- dry whites, dry reds, semi sweet and sweet. A few wines- Grúner Veltliner, Voignier, Petit Petite, Reisling, Rosé, Chambourcin, Blueberry, Watermelon. I visited on a summer day during the week. There were few guests who had settled into cozy corners of this lively home and grounds, but I imagine this is a popular place to spent a day on the weekend.

Visited the Windmill Winery with some girlfriends and reserved the Igloos for a group of 4. We arrived early to explore the winery and take photos for the gram Our first stop was to the bar to order some wine flights along with a small charcuterie board. The boards are meant for one but we were eating dinner later so we were ok with the size. While drinking our flights a guitarist was playing a mix bag of music which I love. Hate when they play one genre. We decided to go outside before dark to enjoy the outdoor seating with a swing, firepits, a photo frame with beautiful flowers around the frame. Prefect for taking photos. I understand a young lady (Cheri) changes up the pops depending on the season. Great job Cheri. After our many photo ops we enter our heated Igloo. When entering the Igloo we could hear the music from the guitarist which was great. There were blankets on the side in case we got cold. The tables had tablecloths with wine glassware along with ceramic plates. So happy to see no plasticware. We ordered a few items from the menu: crab dip, hummus and the fondue with meat and veggies. Our server Amber was the best. She was gracious. pleasant and attentive. When ordering she would recommend great wine pairing with our choice of food. The experience was just awesome. Great day, beautiful grounds and terrific food/wine.
