Manny was great to work with. He responded quickly to my request for a quote and was able to fit me into his schedule quickly. He called to confirm the appointment and let me know when he was on his way. He came in and assembled two bookshelves for me in about an hour and a half. Without the instructions! Manny did an incredible job with our entertainment shelf that needed to be mounted. We had bought the shelf from IKEA and assembled it ourselves, but the nails left over to mount it on the wall didn't seem realistic. Therefore, we found Manny! Doing business with the owner of Assemblexs has been a nightmare. He gives vague estimates, does not provide receipts for supplies or purchases from retailers, (so the prices he gives you are not accurate) and he will try to up-charge you in every way possible. He came highly recommended so I was eager to work with him and unfortunately he has stolen a substantial amount of money from me, secured through a deposit. After missing several deadlines and not rendering services for my business I fired his company. When I requested the deposit back he stalled me and avoided providing documentation that proved payment and eventually stopped answering the phone. Beware of doing business with this company and Emmanuel Sosa he is bad news and extremely dishonest. I have reported the incident I hope that this never happens to any one else, it has been an extremely bad situation for us and has set me back on my project and I had to take a major loss with the amount of money he asked for up front. Should you still decided to do business with him after reading this make sure you pay him as he completes parts of the job and ask for receipts for EVERYTHING!!! read more

Very expensive. I was asked to pay $736 for the assembly of a full size bunkbed with pre-assembled stairway, a rollaway, a full size bed frame, with a rollaway. (4 pieces of furniture) Manny and one other person worked on the project for 6 hours. Do the math...a little over $125 per hour. Their work was not bad - if you can afford them. read more
