***HIDDEN GEM*** I feel incredibly lucky to have found Roberto. My home, built in the mid-1960s, came with a beautiful but outdated built-in gun cabinet. Since I had no use for it, it was just dead space. I decided to convert it into a bookcase. Roberto, the carpenter, was punctual for both the initial consultation and the job itself. He built the bookcase onsite to my specifications, using stainable wood with adjustable shelves. Other quotes I received claimed the work couldn't be done properly due to the room's wainscoting and chair rail, but Roberto handled it with ease. His craftsmanship is top-notch, and the price was reasonable. Here are some photos from mid-demolition and the final raw result. I plan to have the bookcase stained and caulked around the edges to complete the project. This is part of a larger renovation, and I already have painters lined up. I'll post another picture once it's finished. In the next 1-2 years, we'll be gutting our kitchen, and I definitely plan to use Roberto for our cabinets. Don't hesitate to give him a call. He showed up at the time agreed, assessed the situation and gave me a more-than-fair price. He was diligent and precise when he replaced my pantry door, which is not an easy job for an old house. In fact, due to his work being so tight and seamless, I am hiring him for two other doors at my house and recommending him to my neighbor. Roberto was an excellent worker who accomplished the repairs in my bathroom in one day! Roberto fully explained everything that he was doing and he even discovered what the problem was to begin with (drywall installed inside out). He was very tidy (cleaned up very well after finishing!) Removed old crown molding; installed new. Installed new sheetrock on ceiling, tape, bed, texture. Also removed a light fixture. Highly recommend for great service, great work and great price!
