If you want to get in shape and you don't want to go to a gym, get your butt to this club!…read more I signed up recently and got way more than I bargained for. This isn't your average boxing club or workout space. There are classes in the morning, around lunch and around supper time with open gym times for you to work out half an hour before and after classes. There is no way not to get in shape because there's no way to slack in classes. They have spin, boxing and other classes taught by trainers in a group setting to maximize your workout. No one here will even have time to look at their phone because no one brings them out. Don't worry about what you look like or your fitness level because people here are only worried about themselves and their own fitness which makes this a safe space for people of all abilities to work out. No gimmicks here, just seriously hard workouts with motivating trainers. It's in the basement of an old warehouse and the spin class is upstairs so this venue is not accessible. Awesome volunteer staff and all membership fees go toward a transition home that's attached called Pan Am Place. Get your butt down here!

Staff are unprofessional, often ignoring members or giving attitude when asked for help. It's overcrowded most evenings, making it hard to use anything. The high membership fee feels like a rip-off for such a poorly managed place. Look elsewhere for a gym.

It's not bad for lifting weights and has heavy enough dumbbells, albeit only one pair of each weight amount so if you go during peak hours you may have to wait (no homophone pun intended). If you go at anytime other than very late hours, you will probably have to wait for a cardio machine too as there are only 2 treadmills (one with a slipping belt), two stair-masters, and two stationary bikes, and NO elliptical or any other kind of cardio machine. Then there is the fact that this guy just out of the blue closes the gym for days at a time, whilst continuing to charge you. And if you try to cancel your membership, expect to be treated like a terrorist. He was nice and respectful when I signed up, after gouging me for an "enrollment fee" on top of the monthly membership dues, but when I tried to quit he was rude and obnoxious and demanded that I keep paying for an additional month even though I won't be attending. The fact that I was only in the gym 3 times during the previous two months didn't seem to matter to him either. The owner is a textbook example of a midget with a midget brain to match, who compensates by spending his life lifting weight up and down, but has not developed himself in any other area. He's all of about 5'2" in height with an IQ of about 52.

The studio is huge with two levels and many rooms, plus a large change room that includes the use of showers if you wish. The admin staff in there are very caring and will give you a tour guide of the studio if it's your first time here. I will say that you'll get more bang for your buck by talking with your instructor after your practice, as they'll more easily remember your face. The reason is that for classes like slow flow, yin, or deep stretch yoga, they're very busy and it's hard for the instructor to check every single student to ensure they're doing the poses properly. While those fundamental classes are important especially for a beginner, I highly recommend some of the smaller classes, especially yoga on the wall. Overall my experience here has been positive. Yes the hot yoga classes can get busy, but I find the 10 class/month pass very reasonable at $129.

I've attended Yin, Hot Yoga, Restorative, and Vinyasa... and loved every class. YP also offers Yoga Wall, which is an incredible experience -- think deep tissue massage meets yoga! In addition to the yoga, you can also join a TRX class in the YP TRX suspension room. I've tried these classes and they are a great workout.
