Best of all, I went from needing a crisis line call yesterday to feeling like a treasured person today. My caregiver made me feel whole today. When she left, I am still carrying a peacefulness, and joy that no other person ventured to do for a very long time. I feel heard; I feel wanted; I feel as if I am still lovable. She couldn't have given me a better Christmas gift if she tried. When looking for a caregiver, the best you can find is someone who honestly enjoys being with their charge. I finally went down to administrators and filed a complaint with then 3 times in my 10 week stay. magically my medicines were found. I had to bring some meds from home. Fish oil being one of them. They were unable to provide this for 2 1/2 weeks. They have a problem with the pharmacy delivering medications I would rate the nursing staff and CNA staff a 3 stars. there were a few nursing staff I want to give a 5 stars to! Todd, Sabrina,Dana, CNA Coco and Stacy. room cleaner also Pat! you made my stay there for 10 weeks tolerable. I stayed for the PT and OT department primarially.

I have been a patient of Wilmington Health for the last year and needed to be seen by a doctor by internal medicine for the first time for a matter that was urgent. Her nurse and her knew I had not been seen by her before. They scheduled my appointment for two weeks out as a virtual visit that I specifically waited for so I could be seen by a doctor instead of physician assistant. 1 1/2 minutes before my virtual visit after I already had confirmed my appointment THREE separate times and already was in the waiting room on camera to talk to the doctor, they called me and told me Dr Daum was choosing to cancel my appointment since her nurse forgot to send me the paperwork to fill out in advance and they did not want to send me it over email so I could fill it out quickly. I told them I was in pain and had been suffering and waiting for two weeks and was already in the meeting! They said they would do nothing for me and my appointment was cancelled and Dr Daum refused to see me. Their mistake on providing me the paperwork to fill out and she REFUSED to help me or see me for my scheduled appointment. She would not even speak with me on the phone when I asked her nurse to please let me talk to the doctor. She is a DISGRACE of a doctor and I'll be making sure everyone in Wilmington stays clear of her. What a selfish woman!
