If I could give Dr. Hannon 5 stars, I would because she's a good, caring dentist. My concerns are…read moremainly with billing, communication, and office hours. We had been patients at this practice for several years, and the person who previously managed billing was excellent--organized, efficient, and reliable. Since her retirement, communication has declined, ultimately prompting us to leave the practice. This dental practice also has a North Loop location, which you may have to go to because the Roseville office is only open three days a week, but beware, I was informed that the North Loop office does not accept the same insurance as the Roseville office. In addition, the Roseville office charges "office fees" for procedures that other dental practices do not. What the office fees are is somewhat of a mystery. This makes the billing process confusing, yet responsibility is placed on the insurance company by this practice. If you choose to use this practice, be sure to get everything in writing, record the name of the person providing the information, make sure you know what the actual fees are, and keep all paperwork!

Historically, I've been nervous to receive dental care, but Dr. Bates and his team make the experience great with their compassion, gentle touch, and reasonable decision-making. I never feel like they're trying to trick me into treatments or procedures I don't need. I trust that they're giving me the exact care I need! This location has plenty of parking, and the space is very clean. The staff did an excellent job following COVID protocols at the height of the pandemic. Bates Dental Care is pretty popular, as far as dentists go. Be sure to book a few months in advance of when you'll need a check-up.

Seems they moved to Falcon Heights to take money out of this community and give nothing in return. What a shame. Their website says they've been in business since 1973 (a lie) however that was a different business under a different name. Only been in business since 2020. Also says it is a female owned business but the face you see that comes up with this business is actually the owner of their previous business from St Paul. In my opinion, this place is a fraud.

I have never liked a dentist more in my life. I have even written a 1 star Yelp rating for a…read moredentist before, so I'm really not kidding. At Snelling Ave Dental, I have always felt welcomed being there from checking in at the front desk to sitting in the patient's chair. Everyone is extremely friendly and loves chatting with patients when they're up for it. (Pro tip: Talk about food. They LOVE to try new foods and share their foodie experiences.) I've visited here for a total of 3-4 times over one year, and I like how seriously they take their work here. During checkups, the doctor informs me of ways to improve my brushing and the spots that might need more attention. Something that's super simple, but I've never been told by a dentist what spots I haven't been reaching. Besides checkups, I also had a mouthguard fitted because I constantly clench my teeth when I'm stressed. It was a pain-free process, and they checked my insurance coverage and gave me a quoted price before initiating the whole process. Their communication is amazing and there was no confusion. I'm really sad that I can no longer go to Snelling Ave Dental because I moved out-of-state recently, but I'm so happy that I was able to find a dentist that I was satisfied with.

They called before I arrived to verify my insurance, check in was a breeze and my care was excellent, plus they were able to squeeze me in for an extraction. I'm truly not understanding all the negative reviews. I can't thank the providers enough along with the hygenists, finance person, front desk for alleviating my terrible pain during a packed schedule. Truly appreciate them! Excellent care and customer service. For those complaining about not knowing what the cost would be it's typically up to the subscriber to call and gather what their plan covers, but they assist in doing that, plus they give you a no pressure estimate of what things may cost out of pocket which is very clear and they're not forcing anyone then and there. Excellent all around- Thank you!!! Truly appreciated!
